   The food was good as always but the service was the worse i have experienced im years. I will never go back to FF in Tysons, and my friends who went with me to celebrate the birthday of three of our girls in our group will not return either.

   A little surprised to see an additional charge of $18.65 on my $450 check. Looks at website to contact them and saw they have a Covid clause to recoup losses during Covid period. I hated to do it but deducted from our servers tip. Food was good. Server was very professional.

   Fabulous dinner last night. Our table loved the spinach dip and deviled eggs to start. Entrees were salads, burgers, poke bowls. So good! Also excellent service. And ridiculously delicious desserts. Still thinking about the chocolate cake. Will be back soon!

   Service was not as spot on as DC location. Possibly not enough servers? Food was really exceptional. Chocolates and donuts were amazing. Only real sticking point was the noise. At 6pm on a weekday, the only seating offered to us was in the bar. It was hard to have a conversation and there was a lot of "foot traffic" since we were seated where the food comes out. Of course we will come back. Next time, we will be a little more vocal about our seating preference.

   Lows: Inconsistency with restaurant policy and Opentable reservations. One staff member at front desk was not customer service oriented. The manager had go intervene because of this issue. The food on the buffet had inconsistent quality (low temperature, gravy was loose with an odd consistency, and issues with refilling dishes). Glows: Once our seating and service issues were remedied by the House Manager, we were able to be seated in a proper location. Our server, David, as he was EXCELLENT. We noticed the restaurant had issues with keeping the buffet dishes replenished and warm. It was a busy holiday. So, possibly it was a bad day for them coverage wise. Nonetheless, at the end of this meal, my family and I decided we would show them some grace and return. The food was flavorful and delicious. So, we will trust they know things were difficult today and improvements will be made.

   I made reservations for my party and the restaurant didn’t seat us until 15+minutes past our reservation time. We didn’t receive enough glasses of water, silverware, and plates for the table and had to constantly remind the waiter of the items we were missing. The drinks were not prepared well and the food was sloppy. We’ll never return to this location again.

   Good food… poor service. Waiter was absent for long periods and food was served before we even had drinks. It was near closing time, and servers were around us cleaning and sweeping. Very distracting when you’re trying to enjoy a meal.

    I booked a lunch reservation for my family on Open Table. I checked the menu that was linked in Open Table nowhere was it mentioned on the menu or the reservation that the restaurant was brunch-only during that time. When we arrived at the restaurant we discovered that the only option available was a $32 (plus 5% restaurant recovery fee) brunch buffet. We were told summarily that a la carte was not an option. My teenage girls had come along with plans to order the steak frites which was not available while we were there. They didn’t think they could possibly eat $32 worth of food from the buffet and simply sat at the table while the parents ate. The server didn’t even seem concerned that his customers were so upset by their brunch policy that was not disclosed in advance that they didn’t want to eat. The whole experience was upsetting and even with only paying for 2 of our family members $85+ including tip for brunch is crazy expensive. The restaurant needs to be much more clear if it isn’t offering the regular menu for a certain reservation time.

    It’s pretty expensive for brunch. There’s a lot to choose from, but it’s still pretty expensive.

    We’ve dined at this location before and were really disappointed this visit. Our server took a very long time to greet our table and take drink orders, 2 of our 4 drinks arrived incorrectly. We weren’t provided with utensils until after we had already began eating our appetizers. The meals were terrible. Two orders of the lobster ravioli looked like it was thrown in a plate, there was just ravioli and lobster with no oil, sauce, or anything so it made for a very dry and flavorless dish. The braised short ribs were nicely done, but the gnocchi and sausage was overly spiced and again, very thrown together.

    The food was not as good as we have previously experienced. The waitstaff was a little unorganized, our waiter disappeared for a chunk of time, and the hostess was throwing chairs around loudly setting up a large table right next to us- it was pretty jolting.

    We usually get good service but not this last visit. They informed us that our dish was no longer available 30 minutes after they took our orders. We were patient and it was ok — but then it happened again! Two hours later, we were stil ignored until when we finally got up to leave when the waiter finally checked in on us to ask if we paid.     We were moved to another table after the appetizers were served. They wanted to sit a larger party in our seats. They apologized for the inconvenience and gave us free desserts. Still felt this was disrespectful. First time experience for me. Oh and they still charge covid fee. This was my experience tonight.

    We really enjoyed our food and our server was great. This was our first time at Founding Farmers. I would just say that it is not the best place for conversation because the noise level is quite high. But if conversation is not a priority, it's a fantastic place. I loved the look of the place, our booth was comfortable, rest room was clean, good food and good service.

    This has been my favorite location for many years. It really has been hit or miss in my last few visits to the Founding Farmers Tysons and this was a miss. I got my usual entree -- Southern Fried Chicken. The collard greens had more stocks then leaves; the chicken was just ok; and the biscuit was so hard it was unedible. I asked our waited if I could get a biscuit that was a little softer and he stated "they are all cooked the same so it would not make a difference." My co-worker got the meatloaf and it was very dry.

    Our plans to celebrate our daughter’s bday at her favorite restaurant were quickly destroyed when we were seated and ready to order our favorite appetizer (kettle corn) only to be told it wasn’t available!! We ordered the corn bread and a chunk on top was missing (they replaced it). Then they said they didn’t have cheeseburger (bday girl’s order) available??! What?? We were ready to pay for our drinks and leave at this point…. Not the way we wanted to spend our daughter’s special day.

    I ordered the farmers salad--it was missing half of the ingredients it was supposed to have--it was just a bowl of lettuce--pathetic. I have eaten here for years, and always ordered that salad and it has slowly been served with fewer and fewer ingredients--but this time was the final straw. I brought 5 new friends to the restaurant and I don't think any of them will go back.

    My experience is always great. The host was very accommodating and sat us inside because of my allergies even though all that was available when reserving was outdoor seating. The hostess that served us was very attentive. The good is always amazing which is why we always choose to come to this location!!!!

    Price is a bit on the ridiculous side, before tea, coffee and juice were included on the brunch now is not, so that was a bit surprising, now you have to pay for EVERYTHING. There have vegan/ vegetarian friendly choices which is great for me. Waitress was super friendly and very attentive.

    We had a party of six for an 8:00 reservation on a Saturday evening for a major family celebration (which they knew of in advance). We were seated promptly and Willfredo greeted us at the table and introduced himself as our waitperson. He made excellent recommendations (we think - more about that in a second). Three of us ordered the prime rib. Wine was served and Willfredo came back to the table in about 10 minutes to tell us there was only one prime rib left. A real disappointment for two of us on a prime evening when one would hope a restaurant could fulfill their menu. One of us opted for filet and the other for the stuffed pork tenderloin. Willfredo returned to our table about 10 minutes later to announce that he had. Even informed that there was no more pork tenderloin . He was quite upset and asked the manager to come by our table. When Wilfredo returned with the check, he asked if the manager had come by and I told him that he had not. He said he would tell him again that he needed to come by our table because the kitchen inventory “had been unacceptable.” The manager did nothing t come by. We met Willfredo on the way out and told him the manager had still not come by the table and he apologized for the rudeness of the manager. Willfredo needs to find a five star restaurant befitting his five star service. The manager needs to be fired or demoted to a position of serving so he can learn the importance of customer sarisfaction. We left with a strong sense that they care not for anything past the check being paid. Avoid this place. PS. The single prime rib arrived and had been plated without the au jus or horseradish. We found a fly in one of the water glasses and Wilfredo quickly replaced the glass.

    Disappointing experience. Few vegan options so I ordered the "Veggie Burger", which I was told is vegan but only without the bun and cheese. There are NO vegan breads here--not even the ciabatta--which I've never seen non-vegan anywhere. So the lone burger patty arrived sitting on its plate all alone--not even tomatoes, onions, and lettuce were included like the regular burgers get. Just a single patty. For $20.00! Other restaurants would usually offer to substitute avocado, etc. for the missing cheese/bun, but not here. We won't be returning.
