I’ve been to FF many times, and it has been good. This time the service was abhorrent. I asked for a refill on our water for the table and never received it. Our server disappeared for an entire forty five minutes and we were desperate to receive the check so that we could leave. Certainly not my best time at FF.

The salmon plank was ok but it came with soggy green beans. The scallops were covered with a heavy sauce that wasn’t great and made it hard to taste the scallops

Sat outside for lunch and drinks. Since neither of my guests had been to a Founding Farmers, I thought they deserved the experience. Fantastic food and drinks as I’ve come to expect and it was delivered on all accounts.

It was a post Cirque du Soleil rush which makes me feel more charitable however, our food was just awful. Onion rings were super thickly breaded with so much salt and pepper it just killed your taste buds. The cracker crusted shrimp were in actuality, deep fried to the point of being hammered. Steak frites was supposed to be medium rare but was well and looked boiled rather than grilled. Fries were soggy and unseasoned. Green beans were under seasoned. Filet was medium to medium well rather than medium rare but otherwise edible. Squash had weird pink goo under the top layer. Our server had the onion rings and shrimp removed. I probably would have sent it all back but we had our kids with us and needed to get home. Server was delightful and very kind. Would never return…honestly a horror show.

The restaurant was busy and not very organized and it was only 5:15pm. I ordered a cocktail that was supposed to have passion fruit and cucumber. It came with a cantaloupe ball on a toothpick which I mistaken for the passion fruit. Unfortunately, I am allergic to all melons. Not a good experience.

Exceeded expectations. My mint julep was perfect, devilish eggs, shrimp and grits and rib eye steak were delicious. I also got an aztec latte--loved the bite of cayenne sprinkled on top. A great experience!

It was the worst service in recent memory. We have dined at the King of Prussia location many times, it was always excellent. This location in Tyson Conner VA. WAS NOT. We wil not be coming back. My order was wrong, was never corrected, could not locate our waiter, had to flag down other wait staff just to get a steak knife ( which should have been provided without asking, I did order a NY Strip after all) No steak sauce, by the time we got everything that was needed, food was getting cold. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. I have eaten there before and loved it. Had the pasta with shrimp it tasted like it had been frozen. The pasta was mushy and the shrimp was gummy

I had visited founding farmers- Tysons two years ago to celebrate my birthday and decided to go back. This time the food was not as good, especially for the price. Buffet didn’t have many items that was listed on the menu, the chicken was hard and hard to swallow my husband almost choked. The hot food was lukewarm. The best food item to me was the chilli. Had reservations and walk-ins where seated before me. Don’t think I will return.

We made a last minute reservation so sat outside but it was still nice (just by a busy road so there were a few cars). The chicken and waffles tasted amazing and we had a nice evening dinner. We usually go to park potomac location but enjoyed this location at Tyson’s just as much. If in the area will return again.

The chicken fried steak was EXTREMELY salty. In the commotion, they didn't take off the charge. They replaced with a grilled cheese sandwich.

I know there was a lot of activity due to the Cirque du Soleil event, so things were most likely not up to your standards. But we were sat about 15 mins after our reservation, which rushed us in order to get to another show at Cap One Hall. It also took longer than normal to get our food to our table. Once it came...no silverware...we had to ask the runner to get it for us. Our Server was super nice. But apparently there was a change in the menu item names, which caused a bit of confusion. I love all of the Founding Farmer restaurants. This won't deter me...just wanted to provide feedback for the future when there is a large event going on.

Loved the concept, varied menu, ambiance. My meal was fabulous, my dad's was a little lack-lustre, but not bad. Waiter was attentive, though service a little slow. It was also a busy evening. Would go again!

Food was delicious, although I do not recommend death by chocolate unless you just want chocolate ice cream. The fish was delicious and the tuna bites were great. It was loud and hard to hear. And the service was a bit slow.

We sat outside so the noise level was very low so it was pleasant. When I went to the front desk inside, the noise level was very, very noisy.

Food quality has decreased compared to a few years ago. Steaks are dried, portions are smaller, mac and cheese is too saggy.

Have been a longtime fan of FF on Penn. Ave. Cornbread and beignets are first class. This visit was first time Tyson’s Corner. Food was good as usual, but service was painfully slow and inattentive last night. Not sure I will visit this particular location again.

I got spoiled by the pre-pandemic FF. Now, seemingly short staffed, it’s much less than its former self. The food is good, but service slow. A tad filthy -crumbs on chairs, goop on the table; everything on the floor. The real deal-breaker was some sort of health surcharge on the bill. Be honest, people, just jack up your already exorbitant prices by a few percent as the cost of doing business. Other than that, it was a standard mid-range restaurant experience, but with higher prices. I won’t be returning.

I was really excited to try this wonderful brunch buffet that I had read so many wonderful reviews about. We invited close friends to join us to celebrate my birthday. The only reason I did not give Founding Farmers 5 stars is because of something that can be easily fixed by the restaurant. Labels. The spread of food was impressive but each item had a simple note card that only stated the name of the dish. As someone who is allergic to nuts I didn't try many of the dishes because I couldn't tell by sight if the dish had nuts in it. For example: I would have loved to try the fried green tomatoes but they had a green sauce on it. I didn't know if it was an herb sauce or a pesto based sauce that contained pine nuts. I asked someone working the buffet and she said she didn't know. A simple line under the name of the dish that says "Contains: tree nuts, dairy, gluten, peanuts" means that patrons can actually make an informed decision about the very expensive meal they have just purchased. I felt like I couldn't safely guess on multiple items. If you have food allergies and or restrictions this buffet may not be for you which is a shame because it's a very simple change that can help many people.

I had a reservation for 6:30pm and was told we needed to wait 20 minutes for a table even after checking in at 6:30pm. Then we ordered dinner and was told the kitchen was out of Caesar salads. Then I placed an order for a chicken sandwich and asked for it to come plain and it arrived with all of the toppings on it. When I finally received the fixed meal (20 minutes later) the food runner slammed the plate down. Our server tried to remedy the situation but all of this made for a very unpleasant dinner out with out of town guests. Founding farmers was my favorite restaurant and I was very looking forward to bringing our visitors there but now I am not sure when i will be back.

What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is its vibrant atmosphere. If you're seeking a quiet, intimate dinner, this may not be the spot for you. The ambient noise level here is loud, thanks to the lively crowd. The service was attentive, and our server was friendly and accommodating despite the hustle and bustle of the place. However, it's worth noting that during peak hours, the wait for a table can be quite long, so make sure to plan accordingly or make a reservation. I had the Blue Cheese Steak Salad. She had the Chicken Salad salad. We split the Bread Pudding with Butterscotch sauce. It was all flawless. If you have one in your town and have not already, then go there. You will not be disappointed.
