    It was awful. Service very poor. Bathrooms filthy. Poor ambience. Staff not attentive. Food so expensive, poor value for money.i had chicken bolognese and it was absolutely awful . Will never go back

    Great place overall weekend brunch is limited because it's a buffet. However, we felt rushed because the manager came by trying to move us to a smaller table to set up a bigger group coming in because the host placed us at a bigger table when we arrived. It was just uncalled for especially because we knew about the 2 hour limit. The manager offered us a discount and only because we spoke up. Otherwise food is above average and service is decent. Go for the ambience and variety. It's southern style cooking so expect a lot of calories and starch.

    We know this establishment well but it had been several months since our last visit. We had a 5:00 reservation for a small party of 6. There is an $8.50 surcharge just to sit down. We entered and were seated in the booth area in the back that had a bad smell. It had to have been the dirty rugs. The table was sticky and not wiped. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks came 45 minutes later after our entrees had arrived. The food was not the usual FF taste and two of our plates were semi warm. We had to ask for our waiter several times to get our water refilled. Really disappointed with the way this restaurant went from a go to, to a never go to again.

    Weekend brunch is great with lots of amazing options. Salads are usually an afterthought at many brunch buffets, but the ones here are delicious, especially their kale salad. While the Jefferson Donut isn't part of the brunch buffet, they are very tasty and absolutely worth bringing a few home. Best paired with some black coffee (even if you don't like black coffee). While on the topic of coffee, their coffee is great. Even their decaf!! How rare is it to come across decaf coffee that doesn't taste like leftover coffee ground water.

    The bartender was our server, so after delivering our food, he was too busy to check on us again. We had to actually walk to the bar to remind him about the drinks we ordered and check on the status of our food. I’m guessing they were short staffed. The food was delicious.

    The food was below average for Founding Farmers chain. I frequent the McLean location and the food and environment is far better. Odd to me there could be such a difference. On top of the food disappointment, the bathrooms were really dirty. The restaurant generally needs a cleaning and refresh.

    Selected FF specifically on Black Friday due to the breakfast menu. Checked on the website, all set. Get to FF Tyson’s and only option was a $39 buffet. Toss in iced tea, 5% surcharge, tax and tip and breakfast is now $52! The real bummer was that while the options were abundant, some of the cooking was suspect. Bennies were served on under toasted muffins, hard yolks and cold hollandaise. The sausage was boiling in the server, biscuits hard as a rock and deviled eggs less than tasty. Should have gone to a diner for breakfast. Bummer because I like the regular menu and service was great.

    We attended the Thanksgiving dinner and ordered from a prefixed menu. The food ran out by the time we sat down to eat for our 7:15 reservation. So we basically got the scraps. The service was incredibly slow and we didn’t wrap up until 10 PM because the food was slow to arrive, this location is incredibly chaotic. I attended the Thanksgiving dinner last year at the Reston location and had a much better experience. This dinner was not worth $45.

    We had the Thanksgiving prefixed meal. It was definitely average at best. The food was not fresh . The service and ambiance was nice. The food lacked flavor maybe due to it being pre-prepared and reheated to serve in bulk . The appearance of the meal was appealing but upon taste it was a big disappointment

    Thanksgiving dinner was very disappointing. The food was luke-warm overall. Vegetables were hard, ham was dry, potatoes lacked seasoning. Service was very slow, and waitress forgot to bring water as well. Recommend not coming here for holiday food and wasting your money like we did. However brunch is always fantastic!

    Making the reservation was very easy. When we arrived we were greeted by a pleasant receptionist, we did have to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. The dinner was delicious.

    The service was exceptional but the food was not. Soup was served with a film on top from sitting in the warmer, fish had bones and was fishy, stuffing was completely mushy, roasted sprouts were rock hard, potatoes were unseasoned. Pumpkin pie custard was curdled. Turkey was moist and the gravy was tasty. Fried chicken was crisp and flavorful. Had regrettably ordered the Thanksgiving leftovers kit before we tasted the food. Our fault for eating out on a holiday but the food needed more attention

    Recommend doing Thanksgiving brunch. The menu was ok, but most of us didn’t eat the sides because they weren’t very good, so having more choices would’ve been ideal. The dessert was delicious. Server was friendly but appeared to be overwhelmed. Saw another server running through the dining room (!?) Our server, including several team members and a manager walked past our table while we sat there with dirty dishes for about 15 minutes. The focus seems to be on taking the order and getting the food out, but once we had our food, the service deteriorated. Will be coming back for brunch, but not for the limited Thanksgiving menu.

    We enjoyed our Thanksgiving at FFarmers. Our server, Adrian, was great! Smile on his face,attentive, and professional! We enjoyed talking to him and seeing a young college student who is working hard in life especially on a busy day like Thanksgiving.

    Aside from the wonderful meal, we didn’t feel like we were being rushed so they could fit in another group of diners. We were even early for our reservation and they seated us immediately. The waitress was top notch and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

    The food was clearly mass produced and just sitting waiting for the next family to come in. It was mixed temperatures and only ok. The service was mediocre and the server acted as if he wanted us to leave. He didn’t offer drinks and seemed annoyed when we ordered bar drinks.

    It was a very nice lunch but I knocked off a star as the butternut squash soup, while delicious, was not hot. More lukewarm. The roasted vegetables were a little on the soft side but a good mixture.

    Founding Farmers for Thanksgiving is a great place to go. No one in my family seems to like the same things for thanksgiving. The food was tasty, and beautifully presented. Really good choices and we took home a leftover meal so those who wanted to could eat traditionally later in the evening. We were able to eat early and then go have fun. No dishes and the noise level was quiet enough to have good conversations. Thanks FF

    This place is not as good as it once was. The service was great, and the food wasn't bad. It was a nice spread, but the food wasn't particularly warm and it didn't blow us away. For $45 for the Thanksgiving meal plus the 5% fee they charge, it needs to be a little better than okay.

    The female server didn’t serve well with no smiles nor even words. All were served in silence. My appetizer was cold and had to ask to warm up and it took awhile. Bread board was obviously the one already served to another table. Some breads were half and stone cold. Disgusted by the fact that we weren’t treated as good as other customers who were apparently served with fresh bread boards. We’ll never go back again.

    Service was slow. We were there a good 10min before anyone came to greet us and bring water. My husband asked for catsup twice for his meal. When it was finally delivered, he was done eating.

    The food and service couldn’t t have been any worse. We got the kettle popcorn for an appetizer. The popcorn was burned to the bottom of the pot so quite a bit of the popcorn couldn’t be eaten. Then comes the meatloaf, potatoes and green beans. The meatloaf was about half to an inch wide but the outside was completely charred and hard to get a fork in it. The inside of it was extremely dry and over seasoned. After two bites, I sent it back. Hoping the pot roast would be better it was another disappointment. The roast had a “gamey” taste. The gravy was extremely salty. The vegetables, especially the celery wasn’t cooked at all. There was even a piece of dried piece of something that looked like straw in the meat. The food was barely warm with both entrees. The service was subpar. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to ask the server when the 2nd plate would be coming out. Couldn’t get the server to come back to fill the water container. Total disappointment and waste of $60.

    I was quite disappointed in the service. We sat in the bar area and we’re not provided with proper attention. I also thought the tuna poke salad for $25 was not very substantial. The coconut cream pie was great!
