The food wasn’t hot on the buffet. There also typically is a method of keeping the food warm however the food was not warm and instead was cold with the exception of the chicken and the jambalaya rice. I was disappointed with the selection and the food presentation. It didn’t feel like a typical Farmers experience.

Eduardo was excellent for his first time serving us I appreciate the fact that he wasn't taking the back by the dry humor of my coworkers I loved the fact that the food seem to be plentiful at the stations it didn't look like at any moment that you were going to run low or run out I thoroughly enjoyed the music that was playing them and it was always good to see the dynamic three the trinity play sad to hear that it was Christine's last day at that location tree in the Reston station location is second to none the famous shrimp and bacon lolis will be on deck

Reason I didn’t give 5’s is that even with a reservation we had to wait 30 plus min for a table. Food and server were very good. Didn’t have dessert we wanted.

A very good dinner as always at founding farmers. Food was good, servers were pleasant and helpful and attentive as usual. Just a nice Valentine’s Day dinner where my wife and I could focus on each other and not worry about anything

Went on Valentine’s Day and although the service was great, the overall experience was not. We were put in a back room that appeared to be for families with small children. Since my husband and I had our 20 year old with us, and we’d made our reservations weeks before hand, I was disappointed with the ambiance.

Also, my food was not what I expected. The scallops I ordered (a higher priced item) were small and had little flavor, and there were only four around a mound of rice. The rice was delicious, but the scallops less so. The deep dish chocolate pie was a grainy crumbly layer at the bottom, with a cheesecake-type texture in the middle and a mousse texture on the top layer. After trying to like all of it for a few bites, I ended up just eating the top layer and calling it done. My family was celebrating a few things, so I did not ruin the night by calling attention to these issues. But I’m not sure I’d book it again.

Food was okay, service was very slow and awkward. I have had the same meal better (replaced side when they were out without asking and main was overcooked) at different locations in the area. Disappointing Valentine's Day lunch.

I sat at an empty bar that had four bartenders between for over 10 minutes before one of them asked me what I wanted. I had even waved down a menu but no one came back to see what I wanted. The food was okay. Not nearly the level of the DC or Tyson’s locations. And the staff was pushy in shooting us out even though you weren’t closing for two hours. It was the first and last time I’ll be dining at this location.

Had the weekend brunch. The food was fine. Not spectacular as I had been lead to believe. Overall the experience was not worth the bother. Parking garage and confusing path to the place got us off to a bad start. Had a reservation for 5 people. Arrived on time. Was finally seated 20 minutes late at a booth for 4 with a chair uncomfortably stuck in a small thruway with staff carrying food overhead. Tea and hot chocolate were ordered and not delivered until we had finished eating our first plate from the buffet. Hot chocolate was cold. Tea was terrible. Weird taste and a cloudy look like a cheap mix. 3 of us got it and hated it. Buffet is set up in a faraway back room in an unappealing way. They served chili but had no bowls and had to ask 3 people before any were brought out. It didn’t seem like they were very experienced at managing a buffet. And if you are gluten free be prepared to be somewhat disappointed. Nothing is labeled for allergens. There’s no gf menu. You have to find and ask the one staff person in the room with the info to recite the gf options while you stand there awkwardly listening, trying to remember, and blocking the line. This is just not very professional. There was a lot I couldn’t eat but there seemed to be a fair number of gf options but the process was so flawed it’s pretty risky to try to eat gf there. Also there were no gf desserts except strawberry or chocolate ice cream. What am I, 12? For the price they should have had something else among the many desserts. Totally unsatisfactory in that regard. Also, no bacon!!!! At a brunch buffet. That’s just wrong. And they ran out of brisket which was the next best meat. So the 4 of us who weren’t gf had their own disappointments. Honestly none of the 5 of us are likely to go back.

I would not recommend the brunch buffet. The buffet selection wasn't great. The only fruit choices were chopped pineapple or broiled grapefruit. The only seafood choice was artichoke crab dip. They had a few slices of gray brisket out on the buffet and the noise level was startling. Other choices were fried chicken and meatloaf.

We were very disappointed that this time they weren’t walking around with trays of deviled eggs, and the bacon lollipops. We asked our server Chris about them and he said he would bring us fried shrimp instead but he never did.

I feel so welcomed and comfortable that I hardly right about the changes on the valet parking. Brittney service is legendary. Christine came by with such beautiful energy, addressed my concerns about the parking. Chris and Ciara showed love and the General Manager was a joy to meet. It feels like I'm visiting friends and family when I come through.

Definitely could be a go to place, but I think they need to fix a few things;
Seating 20 minutes after reservation time.
Ordering and receiving drinks takes far too long.
Strange way of surving drinks, and using tiny ice cubes (not happening).
Ordered Beer Can Chiken...got wrong vegetables. Chicken was small and portion of vegetable was over powering.
That said, food is very good. Muscle appetizer was amazing.
Will go back, but no rush to do so.

Went for a birthday dinner (7 in our party) and although the food was good, one meal came out cold and it took almost until the end of our meal to get it back. Drinks were slow from the bar. Maybe if your party is 2-4 people the service would have been better, i.e., food hot when served, drink turn around quicker. I would recommend this place during the week.

Recommendation: Try the handmade grapefruit soda. it was fantastic.

We were a party of 2 and arrived for an early dinner. We both ordered the fried chicken. I've tried the fried chicken once before and thought it was amazing... unfortunately this time (at 5:00 p.m.), the chicken that we received was made long before it was served. It was barely luke warm, becoming dry and not nearly as tasty as our previous visit. The other sides were good -- we had mashed potatoes and requested Mexican corn. The Mexican corn was the best part of the entre and I highly recommend it.

We both asked for a donut for dessert and each requested a box of 6 to go. almost 15 minutes later, our waitress said the our favorite variety wouldn't be ready for another 25 minutes so we selected alternatives. Our server came back 20 minutes later to apologize for the amount of time it was taking and I complained that since it's taken so long, that we should get what we originally ordered. She was very polite and gave us the donuts about 10 minutes later (at no charge)

I think they might be understaffed in the kitchen at 5:00 p.m. I will be trying them again as I feel confident that this was not a typical experience.

My family and I have been to found farmers in reston several times over the past few months and the service and ambiance are always good to great. Unfortunately, I’ve never really been “blown away” by the food. It’s consistently above average and more often than not a member of our party is left dissatisfied with their meal. I wish the value was higher
