Fantastic dinner. The drinks were phenomenal and the food was even better. It was my family's first time at a Founding Farmers, so I was excited to introduce them. They left full and impressed. Great experience all around.

Mother’s Day Brunch was wonderful!
Delicious brunch. Lots of variety to choose from at the buffet or ordering la carte items.
This location is just ok as compared to the Tysons location. Tysons was booked for Mother's day, so we came here to celebrate Mother's Day expecting a similar experience. It was not to be - front of the house staff wasn't very welcoming and our server was forgetful and rude when we kept asking for items he kept forgetting to bring us. The food items on the buffet were good, but there were way fewer items than advertised. The fried shrimp was way overcooked. They don't have their claim to fame cronuts/Jefferson donuts on the dessert tray anymore, and when we tried to order them, first they told us there were only flavors and no plain, and then they came back and told us there were none left and we had to wait an hour.
On a positive note, they have great coffee, ham, mac and cheese, and some kind of crab/artichoke dip.
For my money, and probably yours, the Tysons location is way better - go there for the weekend brunch if you can get a reservation.
We went for Mother's Day. The food was cold. The only thing that was hot waa the coffee. The pancakes was warm. It would been good if it was hot. Our waiter and the staff was really nice. The noise was okay. A lot of baby's crying. Lol. But it was Mother's Day. I understand. For the money I paid it was not worth it.
I had high hopes when I booked a reservation for Mother's Day. The service was slow and not very good. A man was being trained and the trainer was slow and seemed disorganized.
The "brunch" menu was great. The actual tables of food were not. Small, little variety. It wasnt great. Worse was paying $30 for brunch (x 2) $4.50 for milk for for an infant, $4.50 for a coffee and $5.00 parking.
Not at all worth nearly $90.
I love this restaurant! Just a few steps away from where I live. Perfect location.

Food was fantastic but the service wasn’t that great. Our waitress seemed rushed and only came back when out food was ready... never offered to refill drinks ( we had wine), never bothered to tell us the specials etc. Not the best service I’ve had.
The server was very rude which is especially unpleasant when we were there celebrating a special occasion.
Food was lackluster compared to Tysons location. Entrees served at almost same time as entrees. Cornbread over done. Entrees that should have been served hot were almost lukewarm to cold.
Food was ok. Service was great. The place was great for gatherings. Desert was good.
Visited for brunch, overall not impressed. Our server was great I just didn’t love the food. We had the cheddar biscuits which were good, but I ordered a burger which wasn’t great. No complaints with the service, but the food was just ok.
The service was terrible, our waitress was very uninterested in my table of 4. The food was below average, our drink were never refilled by our waitress. I have been to different Founding Farmers locations and they were much better. Its a shame, we just wanted a nice lunch on mothers day weekend, but we were not able to enjoy this location.
It was first time at Founding Farmers and the last. The website stated a brunch for Saturday and Sunday but when we arrived we were told that the brunch was Sunday only. The waitress told us we could leave if we wanted it was ok with her....like it was her decision. The manager came over and told us the website was incorrect and that multiple people came in looking for the brunch...that didn't make me feel better. Overall a sub par experience.
Love this restaurant chain, everyone is unique and it was our fist time in Reston. We just moved to the area and I’m sure it will be a frequenter. Food and service are amazing!

We thought the signs on the restroom doors were quite strange. Are they meant to promote the use of restrooms to whoever wants to use them?
That would be offensive enough to keep us from coming back to this restaurant.
Wonderful family dinner. The service was absolutely excellent. (Unfortunately, I’m terrible with remembering names-I’m hoping you can research our reservation and pass accolades along.)The timing of the food allowed for a nice, leisurely dinner without wondering where our food was and we were checked on regularly. Food would have received five stars but the spaghetti squash Pomodoro was extremely spicy.
The food was bland and overpriced. Nothing we got excited about. Ordered the fried chicken, enchiladas , meatloaf, ribs, brisket. Nothing impressed us. The dessert was disappointing, the bread pudding was still cold in the center and cookies were average. Overpriced

All in all, it's a great place to eat, whether you want an appetizer at the bar along with your beverage of choice or a solid sit down dinner meal. The food likes like what is described on the menu which is actually quite nice, in other words, no surprises.
The food is always a win, for this foodie. Great service and attention to detail
Disappointed that the one item we were craving was not available. Avocado Toast. Not sure why as avocado and bread are easy ingredients. The first waiter was lacking customer service. Wasn’t attentive and it felt like we were “bothering” him when we asked questions or decided to need something. Drinks are quite expensive with a lot of ice. And, they still charge a mandatory Covid surcharge a year later, which makes me wonder if they weren’t granted help from the government. It added another $10 to our bill. They always ask about special occasions when making the reservation- we claimed a birthday, yet they didn’t acknowledge anything about it. Might be awhile until we go back.

Usually FF is great - there were some issues this time, I have every confidence they will be corrected, so hopefully my subpar experience was an aberration. the manager assured me the mishaps will get addressed. I'll be back for sure.

Everything was lovely great brunch menu, excellent service, and they are taking excellent precautions sanitizing the place.
We selected the Sunday brunch buffet. The service was not great (they didn't check on us very often) and although the food was good the buffet was slow to replenish the food. Also, I order a few things off of the brunch menu and I never received a few items. In general the staff seemed overwhelmed and given the high price of the brunch I expected more.

I have been to Founding farmers prior to Covid and I had a good experience but I was very disappointed in the food- the buffet was pretty empty and horrible selection and the food was warm-cold. When we decided to take advantage of ordering the candied bacon, deviled eggs, fried shrimp, and pancakes those were also cold. We were warned to be careful of the plate that carried the bacon because it was "very hot" and the plate was hot but the bacon was cold..... I don't understand how that could be? I had no issues with the staff and the look of the restaurant but I was so disappointed in the buffet and the other food items.

We frequently go to Founding Farmers Reston since its one of our favorite spots to eat. We went for brunch this past Sunday and had a really disappointing experience. We had a reservation but it took about 15 minutes to get seated. Then our server was nowhere to be found so we were sitting at the table for another 10 minutes. We went up to the buffet a few times and was frustrated there as well. A few of the food items were gone and not replenished. Also due to the pandemic, we can no longer get our own food. However, there are not enough people serving the food and every time going up to the buffet was a long wait. Our server made the experience worse. She would disappear for long periods of time. The latter part of our meal, we were without water and coffee but couldn't request anymore since she was not around. Very disappointing experience.

I was meeting friends for a Ramadan iftar (dinner), and the server and staff were super accommodating, the food was incredible as always and the service was superb. I’m such a huge fan of the gorgeous patio, haven’t been disappointed yet!
Waited for a server for quite some time. I guess there was some sort of buffet being served at that time, which is surprising since we are still in this pandemic and exposed food can be problematic. But hey...who cares right?
We had to ask if there was a server available to service our table. When the waiter came, we felt rushed. His mask, by the way had a stain on it and it kept falling down. There’s that...
Our daughter ordered the impossible meatloaf, she got the impossible burger.
My husband did not receive his order of mashed potatoes until he made them aware part of the order was missing.
The greens we ordered was very dry and had to seasoning taste.
Will we return? Nope.
Would I recommend? Nope. But hey, different strokes for different folks. Everyone’s experience is different...
We had a really poor dining experience this past Sunday. It was myself and 5 friends and we all couldn’t believe how rude the entire staff was. From the moment we checked in at the hostess stand to getting our final bill each person we encountered has a horrible attitude and made us feel like an inconvenience. The food was bad however it was brunch and due to Covid the staff served us through plastic barriers which was fine but the serving size they were allowed to serve was so insanely small and the line was really long. I’m a pretty small person and I don’t eat big portions but I had to go through the line 6 times to get enough food. This is a poor reflection of the management. None of us nor our families will be back. Do not waste your time or money!

Will not be coming again for their brunch buffet. When we got there, the options seemed very limited and the food was not fresh. Syrup for French toast (which was too hard) and glazed donuts just did not taste good… eggs were too heavily seasoned and the chicken in the rice was cold. It was all either too sweet or too savory. We also ordered drinks that took a while to come out. The fact that they have a covid up charge is ridiculous. There should be a reduced in price even to match the reduced quality of food.

I understand the struggles during covid. I know restaurants are understaffed. When our food was delivered to table, the wrong meal was given to my husband. My meal came with two sauces. One of the sauces (spicy) was spilled all over my green beans. We had to get attention of waitress to have her exchange my husbands meal. When he received the correct entry, it still was not quite right. He order baked potato and it came with mashed. Again we had to get attention of waitress to explain, and my husband was finished with his meal before the correct potato came out. We had to ask for refill of drinks, was never offered any, (this was after 1 hour at table) Food taste was adequate to good. Service was subpar. I will wait a long time before I try this restaurant again.

Not much to say. Everything was excellent. Server’s description of the glazed cedar plank Salmon convinced me to get it. It was spectacular even the veggies which I usually don’t enjoy which were root veggies of some kind including succotash, cauliflower, carrots and some other stuff. All were prepared perfectly.
