Bacon lollies (appetizer) took 45 min to come out. We asked for Shrip & Crab risotto and ended up with shrimp and grits. Steak (prime rib) was VERY fatty.
Usually I am always wowed by the food, but this night it was mediocre. There was a spore on our bacon appetizer, which was alarming. The cut of filet mignon was tragic. The fries were cold not piping hot. It just was meh. Our server John was attentive and tried to accommodate to our needs.
The menu is extensive and the website really sounds good but the food didn’t live up to the hype. All the food was served lukewarm and twice we were served Sweet Tea when we asked for Unsweetened. The waitress kept insisting it was unsweetened. Finally the manager went and tasted the tea and came over and apologized to us. The only thing they did was take off the second order or tea. I would not go back unless I didn’t have anywhere else in the area to go to.
Everything was good. Food. Service. Location. The only thing I didn’t like was that I told the hostess to let my waiter know it was my husbands birthday but she said they do not do anything for birthdays. Sigh.

Everything was perfect! Allen was a fantastic server, and the food was absolutely delicious! Between the two of us, we had two drinks, a starter, bread, two entrees, and dessert and the bill came out to less than $100, so also a fantastic value. A great spot for our anniversary, and we will be coming here for more celebrations in the not too distant future!

We tried the Sunday Brunch Buffet for the first time and had an enjoyable experience. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day while having a tasty meal. The selections at the buffet were not always consistent, but covered breakfast to lunch items and ranged in taste from good to excellent. We did not do cocktails or coffee, so our bill was a lot less than it could have been, as the per person charge for the food was 29.95+tax. It was our server, Hermela, though, who really made the experience such a positive one for us. She was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. This was a nice experience, but one I would do occasionally as opposed to regularly.

Very nice day to sit outside. Brunch buffet was good but not great. Some was cold and the line was slow. It is a good price but I would be willing to ay more for fresh food cooked to order.

Service was very slow and our server was spotted on her phone several times while drinks sat. Drinks were again an issue as they never seem to be made correctly and come off tasting too bitter, sour, bland or odd at the Reston location. The food was good for a brunch buffet, but not exceptional. Some prices on our bill were higher than on the menu. We were apparently given an “older” menu. FF charges a 5% recovery charge, which at this point is just ridiculous. Knowing that was still being changed, we would have canceled. At this point, we have given up on the Reston location and FF restaurants in general until they discontinue the recovery charge.

Overall the experience was very disappointing. The service was horrible. Food delivered late, we had to search for our server three different times and many excuses stated that the bar was very busy so we had to wait on our drinks… all night.
Overall, the price point does not equal the poor service. Therefore, it is not good value. We will not be returning.

When I made the reservation there was no information to inform me that buffet was the ONLY option. Unfortunately the location of this restaurant made it such that we couldn’t simply leave and find another place or we would have done so.
Host staff sat me without giving us menus or instructions other than to say the buffet is inside.
Our server was attentive but the bar service was slow a and the coffee not worth the $4 price tag
The buffet experience was terrible. The buffet is tucked in the back of the restaurant. It was insufficiently stocked, sneeze guards were not present everywhere, limited staff to assist with hot stations. We give the food quality a D.
I do not recommend one waste their time, calories or palette here.

We expected better. We have been to the brunch Pre Covid and remember it being better. We’ve also been to the restaurant for dinner a few weeks back and the food was good. The brunch was disappointing. Nothing, literally nothing food wise had much flavors to it besides some dips and shrimp. The French toast squares were hard as a rock. All the meats were over cooked and dry. 10 minutes wait both the times we went for pancakes. Eggs didn’t had much flavors either. They were just eggs. We may go back to the restaurant again BUT not for brunch.

Really enjoyed the outside seating! Food was excellent. Service was very good. Getting drinks were slow as the bar was apparently backed up but other than that service was great.

Our fourth time at this location
Service sucked so much…
Had to wait 20 minutes for some front dishes for our apps which made it cold.
Had to wait another 15 mins for condiments which made our entrees cold.
If you don’t have the staff to serve all the tables, then don’t reserve out so many tables. It makes y’all look dumb and the customers unhappy.

Most terrible service we have received in the past year. Half and hour to just get water!

Overall not a pleasant experience, would not recommend this location to friends and family.
Ordered 2 drinks off menu- a tequila & soda and a martini. The tequila was not top shelf and we were still charged $20 for it, and we were charged an extra $4 for the olives in the dirty martini. Olives are what make it a martini, charging for them seems ridiculous (they were not extra olives, just 2 regular non-fancy olives in a standard martini). Definitely left feeling like we got ripped off. Won't go back.
The service is almost always not good. I love the food, I wan the service to be up to level

Steak was underdone, prime rib was mostly fat
Arrived a few minutes before reservation. Checked in was asked to wait outside and then forgotten about. Had to ask a second time to be seated around 15 minutes later and then again waited for water. Probably my tenth time at this location and this was the only sub par experience.

Had such a great time celebrating with my partner! Our server was amazing and had some really great suggestions! The ambiance was awesome compared to a few of the other founding farmers locations, very low key chill vibes. Our drinks were AWESOME! so happy we were able to catch happy hour! Would for sure be back again!

First time dining outdoors since the pandemic! Setting outside was pleasant; food was very good. Chose Founding Farmers because we really missed the corn bread. Our waiter was nice and polite, but service was a bit sparse. Maybe more help needed?
Family of four with a 6:15 pm dinner reservation. Terrible service. The restaurant was less half capacity still the service was super slow. From the time we order until food was on the table it took more than an hour. The side dishes were cold. We left at 8 pm. Took the lady forever to produce our check. Never seen such a slow and bad service for such high prices on menu.

Menu was limited to the buffet. The buffet was picked over, not well stocked or maintained and overwhelmed by people. Kind of a hectic mess.

First time at this location, it was just meh. Service is at an all- time low, so its to be expected. I was disappointed that during COVID, so much of the brunch buffet food tables were self service and also despite having a sign on the door, people didn't really wear masks. It was all very off-putting.

Service was horrible. Tables, plates and seating was dirty. Took 1/2 hour just to get our drinks, food took 50 minutes despite the fact it wasnt busy. Felt like we were burdening the waiter. On top of it they supposedly validated our parking ticket, then had to pay anyway even though we were under the 3 hour time limit. Just awful. Last time I came here there was cellophane in my mashed potatoes and my friend’s tuna wasnt cooked. Im done with this place. I never had these experiences at the Tyson’s location.
