I have given FF numerous five-star reviews but today I am giving a one-star review for a very specific reason.

We were served a Baileys on the rocks. The issue was the Baileys had gone bad, similar to how milk goes bad. When we pointed out the issue, the manager swung by, instead of apologizing, tried to make the case that it was highly unlikely for Baileys to go bad at FF, that the liquor has a two-year shelf life, and at FF they go through it much faster. To his credit, he did acknowledge that the Baileys had gone bad, but he also mentioned that he tasted it and thought the taste was fine. I was pretty shocked.

Then the check came and there was the charge for the Baileys which they had not removed.

FF is better than this. Or used to be better than this.

Hope this review will help.

A little disappointing. We've been here many times, but this round we felt the restaurant has started to skimp with portion sizes for sandwiches and chicken. Plus, the food was only luke warm. This at 3PM on a Sunday--they were not crowded. It all begins in the kitchen and I feel Founding Farmers needs to pay more attention to food quality. I think Clyde's Tower Oaks across I-270 has caught and passed them in food quality.

Believe it or not this was my first time ever at Founding Farmers and Sara made my experience so organic, I felt like I was asking my best friend about a restaurant. The Hangover hash and the founding daughters was amazing, I still cant take that meal out of my head. I will be back!

Overall is was just Ok. Clearly the waiters and servers were overwhelmed. Lots of misses and nonchalant service.
Won’t bother going back.

My only comment is they didnt monitor mask usage as people moved about-assuming rest room etc. Requiring to enter but at least where we were seated, not enforced after.

Been wanting to go to Founding Farmers for years. Finally got to go and was disappointed.
Server was fine although she forgot some things. The three guys got prime rib. Hub ordered med rare and they brought out med well. He sent it back. I think that the server who did the delivering grabbed another table's order. They made my hub keep his sides, which most places don't do. SIL got the butternut squash ravioli. One of them was mushroom so chef wasn't paying attention. My mouth had been watering for chicken and waffles. Everything on my plate tasted fine, but it was all cold. Also, I've never had it with the bones and wing still attached. It made it really hard to eat. Other places either do a boneless breast or homemade chicken fingers. We got three desserts. Chocolate covered strawberries were slightly frozen. Hub got peanut bars. They are candy bars which is not explained. He expected like a brownie style bar. He would have gotten something else. I got the bread pudding. Several issues. 1. It was made in an iron skillet, which was piping hot. There was nothing provided to hold the handle in order to eat it. Despite the warning, it was an accident waiting to happen. I couldn't figure out how to get it out of the pan until it cooled down. By then everyone else was done. It's way too big. It should say it's for 2-4 people. If I had known that, I would have chosen something else. It had no flavor and there wasn't enough butterscotch cream. I had to ask for more and it still wasn't enough. It was dry and top was burned.
We knew about 5% recovery fee, especially since on the way we heard an interview w/owner on TOP while driving to there. Owner said that they could raise the prices by $0.50, but people would balk at a $15 dish raised to $15.50. Ummm, his math is bad. 5% of $15 is $0.75. However, it was better than the restaurant charging $7.50 per head.
It wasn't awful but will only go back if other party really wants to go.

The restaurant and food was great. The only recommendation is that the lights don’t automatically dim when it’s dinner time. It really limited us seeing the desserts and trying to pay our bill. The people who are already dining should have there lights remain the same until they leave or just don’t dim them at all.

We ordered steak salad and butternut squash ravioli. The meat was low quality and the pasta was swimming in oil. Our server was great though.

Founding Farmers is usually one of my favorite restaurants. The food was not good last night, I was very dissappointed. I ordered the meatloaf initially it was not cooked well, then I ordered the spatchcock chicken it didnt taste fresh. I ordered the spicey fried chicken to go. It was supposed to come with two sides, I happened to look in the bag and I only had one side.

A very pleasant place when you walk in..Nice hostess ..very professional..
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations...The tomato soup was very salty...i ate half and my ahi tuna salad had too much dressing on it,,, could not really taste the tuna which was good and fresh...should have asked for it on the side.
as for the pro side ..one lady ordered the biscuits and they were fabulous...everyone agreed best option of the meal..Also appreciated having our own checks which saved the "who had what scenario". I would have told the waitress about the food problems but she did not ask and she seemed very busy and also since we were a big group i did not want to get into it at the table.
Not sure if I would go back but would love to carry out the biscuits...

I've normally gotten great service here, and have left positive reviews in the past, but going there Thursday night and getting outdoor seating (tented) and being one of the few people sitting outside turned out to be a really bad experience in terms of the service. I had to go request that the server come back to our table repeatedly, visiting the hostess stand to do so, since almost no one else was out there.

The server, though friendly, appeared to have no interest in proactively asking us if we wanted something or checking in about food/drinks (which...is her job?), only coming when beaconed until it was the end of her shift/the restaurant was closing. I also ordered an ahi tuna salad to go, and asked the server to bring it out toward the end of the meal, but she brought it out fairly soon after I ordered, meaning it was sitting at room temperature for at least 1.5 hours. This puts the food at risk of being contaminated, but did not appear to be a consideration for her.

We also needed to get heating lamps turned on and mentioned this to her, but again, she didn't return, so I ended up asking the hostess for help with it. The food and drinks were still good, as they typically would be. But if your team is not equipped to provide good service to outdoor clients, please close the outside seating.

They brought a dish that had neither of the main ingredients and it tasted like they put a whole salt shaker on it. The food quality has gone downhill - I would avoid Founding Farmers if I were you....

We had a nice dinner in Founding Farmers' heated tent, which felt safer than indoors (because COVID). The service, like at so many restaurants these days, was spotty. The food was good. The coffee came out lukewarm. It was a great place for dinner with our friends, but at those prices, we might look elsewhere next time.

The food is always amazing when we eat at Founding Farmers. I almost always get the French toast (soaked in bourbon and filled with vanilla custard). I talked it up so much that my mother in law and her sister both got it. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffles was super light and fluffy. 10/10 will definitely be going back!!!

I ordered the kale salad. It had unmelted coconut butter the size of my fist at the bottom of the tasteless salad. The grilled and greasy vegetables tasted like they were grilled with the meat. I ordered the vinaigrette on the side and received a sweetened, thick sauce. And finally I ordered chocolate chip cookie(10) and they were burnt on the edges. It was the meal from the Twilight Zone
