As always the food was delicious and the service was great
My husband and I frequently go to Founding Farmers for dinner and have never been disappointed. Service is always great, food is incredible, and we love the scratch sodas. The prime rib is my favorite!
I love this place. The décor is really cool, the food is ALWAYS good and the service is just enough to keep you feeling taken care of without feeling smothered. Pricing is on point and accessibility is excellent.
Always love the food here.
Too crowded...overwhelmed staff...good in general
Always a reliable choice for great food and attentive service! I left fat n’ happy!
We loved Founding Farmers and can’t wait to come back. Being vegetarian/vegan..it was awesome to have that accommodating menu for our food preferences. Impossible burger was absolutely fantastic. Front girls on charge of hosting and seating were also very polite and welcoming.
The food is always fresh. I highly recommend the prime rib dip sandwich, it is simply a delight. Also, the stews, specifically the pork and lentils is the best.
Great customer service and the waitress, Fatima was excellent! I have already recommended this location to a dear friend. Of course, my family and I Will be back for more.
This is one of our "go to"restaurants. The food is always terrific. Our server Stephanie was terrific too. You'll have to reserve a table to avoid a long wait.
We sat at the bar even though we had reservations and the service was amazing. Food was great as usual. Apple cider sorbet was phenomenal, definitely would buy mass quantities.
Reservation does not mean much. It takes 20+ minutes to get a table at a popular time. Happens quite often.
Servers inattentive. Daily fish is very boring and overpriced. Not the first time.
I usually like Founding Farmers. Something seems to have changed since the last time I was there. The service this time was a bit underwhelming.
Our booth at the front of the restaurant was large, but it was very noisy and difficult to hear each other. But overall, the food and service was great.
Sad but this place is starting to lose its touch. Had breakfast here recently and didn't think anything really stood out. My friend had a omelet that seemed more like stir fry than anything else. My eggs were fine, but the pork sausage was just okay, the biscuit was dry, and the grits were terrible. Definitely not worth it. Still sticking to three stars because my most recent dinner here was delicious. Love their burgers and bacon. Hopefully those haven't changed as much.
Love FF! Had a famiky birthday dinner here. We weren’t rushed and were given space and time to enjoy and feast. Server gave excellent recommendations and was enjoyable to work with. Thank you for another wonderful dining experience. Til next time-
This was my second visit to the restaurant and I was bringing out of town friends, so you're always hoping the restaurant doesn't let you down, when you've talked a place up. FF definitely held up its end of the bargain. We were seated promptly, the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, easily and effortlessly able to answer all the questions we had and to make recommendations when asked. The drinks and food were all excellent, satisfying our pickiest and our snobbiest eaters at the same time, and the portions are very generous, giving us enough for lunch the next day. We all had an excellent time.
Ordered the grilled salmon in the walnut parmesan style. It was too dry and burned for my taste. They deducted it from the total.
Their cocktails are amazing and their atmosphere is great. Will def come back but wont order that again.
Other items I ordered in the past were great.
Good place to get fresh tasty food. Atmosphere is friendly and cozy with a rustic feel. Service was professional and we were greeted by the team of staff that were waiting on us.
My mother and I had a delicious meal made more perfect by server Oscar. He was patient and kind and listened to our desire to relax and enjoy our time together over good food. It is always a pleasure to dine at Founding Farmers Montgomery County. Your food and wait staff are the best.
The restaurant was overbooked, but we waited thinking it was going to be worth it. It was not, the fried chicken we ordered was dry and greasy. The collard greens were dry. The medium salmon was flirting with well done. The server was nice and attentive, but the kitchen was lacking and the hostesses were overwhelmed. Overall it was not a great experience.
Service use to be excellent and so was your food unfortunately because of overcrowding
You can’t get quality food nor service. We were given cold coffee with huge table spoons our mimosas were dripping all over the table. Overall a huge disappointment.
Everything was amazing. Service was quick, food came out hot and in a timely manor. Management stopped by the table, she was also very nice. Hosts were polite and we did not have to wait long for a table. Overall great experience!!
It was a great dining experience. The service was great as well as the food
Nikki was our server: super nice, helpful, attentive, and new to explain food!
Took a little too long to get food- but it was delicious
Founding Farmers is always a quality visit, great custom cocktails and superior service are two reasons we always visit. The menu is expansive enough that you can choose basic comfort food or take a risk on something more exciting, such as their fresh fish entree.
My friend and I had a wonderful time - the food was delicious, the serving sizes were huge (we took half of our meals to go), the service was wonderful!
Restaurant is loud. Service on the food was slow.
Well, we were seated upstairs which was good lot more quiet. Quick to take our order then food arrived my fries looks like refried. My fish & chips comes with a small beer , no beer waited for my waiter he wasn’t anywhere had to ask someone else. The check took forever & there was only one long table & perhaps 3 other tables with 4 or a couple @ each of those occupied table. Was indeed very surprised.
Had a friendly (four of us) get together. Loved the food and drink. Only drawback is the noise level, which can get LOUD making it difficult to carry on a conversation across the table.
I am the activities director of a local assisted living facility, and we visited founding farmers ona Wednesday for lunch. I was able to make a reservation through open table, which was wonderful since we had 12 residents and myself and another staff member. When we arrived, they had accessible entrances that my residents could easily negotiate to get inside. They listened and provided me with the requested area (near the restrooms by the big window in front on the first floor), and had the table prepared for us, including areas for wheelchairs. The service was friendly, prompt, and enjoyable and the food was GREAT! Every single one of my residents was happy, and we will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Thank you Founding Farmers for making what could have been a very stressful trip and wonderful one.
Tasty comfort food with a modern twist. A pleasant dining room and good service. Watch out for the desserts - they are huge.
Good food but service was lacking a bit on a Sunday evening. Everything is made from scratch, including the drinks. I would definitely take visitors back because they enjoyed it.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Montgomery County. The food is always good, as is the wait staff.
Founding Farmers never disappoints. It's my favorite go-to restaurant. The food and service are always good. You can count on that. I've been coming here since they opened and it's always been a great experience. I appreciate the consistency.
Excellent food as usual.
This location has Good food, nice decor, but very noisy!
