American
MoCo's Founding Farmers is owned by the more than 47,000 family farmers of the NDFU, serving American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch. While our restaurant is supplied by hundreds of family farms everywhere, that doesn’t mean we know every farm, and that doesn’t mean we never have to buy product from the traditional (corporate) supply chain, but it does mean we’re working hard to direct our purchasing dollars where it aligns with our values. We’re serving the best food we can, made from scratch in our kitchens every day. Our innovative, American dishes are made primarily with pure ingredients honoring the farmers and their hard-earned bounty. The restaurant is upscale casual, which welcomes business casual dress, and dress that would be appropriate in a nice restaurant; this includes jeans and athletic wear, and warm-weather clothing, including shorts.

I come to FF often and the food is consistently very good. Always choose the biscuit. They are outstanding. Our waiter Jordan was very patient while still being attentive. He was excellent.

This is our go-to place for a nicer-than-usual dinner. It was the first place I ever had poke and there are few that can stand up to their recipe. The food is very good. The atmosphere is fun. They get a nice mixed crowd and, most importantly, when parents bring children they are well behaved! If I had one suggestion is that they need to do a little refresh of the menu. Maybe add something and take something away. You need to keep it interesting.

Wow! Great spot. New favorite. Founder’s is great. The menu offered a little of everything. We had two apps, Brie toast and fries green tomatoes; fantastic. Dinner entrees were scallops with butternut squash risotto and salad with salmon; so delish! Oh, can’t forget the apple pie for dessert. Could’ve been warmed, but still tasty. Can’t wait to go back.

Great birthday early dinner with family. Delicious food choices for all, including one vegan and one vegetarian.

My family arrived with our reservation, we were told to wait. It was quite busy and noisy for my mom who was using a walker. The hostess then offered us a choice of a booth or chairs which was very accommodating. The meal was served promptly and was delicious . The place where we were seated afforded some quiet from the noisy bustle of the restaurant, so we were able to have a nice conversation without straining to hear each other. I will return again.

A++ experience. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional, even though we were there on a super busy night, Valentine's dinner! I was there with my picky 8-year-old, and the waitress was super accommodating even though she must have been incredibly busy. She was always cheerful and did not go missing for long periods as happens in some restaurants, especially on a busy night. She even checked with the chef to make his grilled cheese on special bread and gave him a different drink without charge when he didn't like the pulp in the orange juice. I'm dying to go back again and try more things. Highly recommend!!!

We were seated upstairs and had never been in that area of restaurant before—it felt like we were in a cafeteria. Ambience definitely lacking. Signature brisket was anything but tender. Other food was good.

I wouldn’t call extremely loud energetic. Service was ok. A little slow. Never got the 2 glass of wine. Food was great.
No valentine flowers on the tables. One carnation or rose wouldn’t put them out of business.
Overall we had a nice time.

Went there for Valentine’s Day dinner. Juan was amazing. Food was also great although we had to wait almost 45 minutes for our beignets. Fortunately they were comped due to the wait. Great farm fresh food.

The experience was fabulous, as always. I’ve been a fan of Founding Farmers for years. The server, Abu, played a big part in making me feel special. I ordered the roasted tomato soup, cornbread, Impossible meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was all so perfect. I highly recommend Founding Farmers. It’s never a disappointment when I dine here.

Really good food. Portions are generous. Tables a little close together. On a chilly day sit as far inside the restaurant as you can. It gets pretty drafty.

The food was just not the quality it has been during previous visits. Green beans were called chicken fried steak was cold and chewy.
I got the corn bread as an appetizer as I do it every visit but it was also cold and seem to be missing the sea salt it’s on top of it and the corn in it was dry and hard to me it seemed like over heated corn bread from The day before.
Overall just not a great meal.

Everything is fried. Even the "Simple Style" fish is sauteed in so much oil it's practically fried. And so overcooked. All the dishes we got were bad. Very disappointed with the food here. It's not like the other Founding Farmers locations. I will not be coming here again.

Our table was filthy— lots of food underneath and we had to track down someone to clean it before we sat down. The staff seemed disinterested and the place seemed kind of unkempt. Maybe because it was later on a Sunday night but when spending $120 I expect more.

Went with two friends for brunch on a Sunday, we had a reservation and still had to wait for almost 30 minutes. The service was good - not great but not bad either. I ordered scrambled eggs, well done. They were burned. The fruit was a cut up apple with so cantaloupe that was hard as a rock. The biscuit was over cooked and crunchy. My friend ordered grits - they were definitely instant. I've tried to like Founding Farmers but the food is not fresh and it's just an over priced ok diner.

We happened to go on a Saturday night. The place was loud, we could barely hear each other. I don't fault Founding Farmers for that. The food is very good and I'm sure the atmosphere is quieter at less busy times.

We did get to hear our server spend all of his time running pickup lines on the young women at the table next to ours. It's a shame that he cared more about them he did about checking in on us-- our group was bigger and he would have ended up with a better tip. I hope he at least got one of their phone numbers.

We were a group of 7 - not small but not crazy huge either. Our waitress was incredibly slow to greet us, offer drinks and describe the wine selection, and when it came poured red right on top of a diner's glass of white.
Apps arrived after what seemed like a long wait; they were good but the waitress never bothered to check on us to see if we wanted something more or different. We placed diner orders and again waited about 25 minutes for them to arrive. The serving team had no idea what dish belonged to whom (a pet peeve of mine) and stood there calling out each plate, thereby interrupting our conversation repeatedly and reaching over people. Worth noting that two of the people in our group have hearing loss, so calling out like this is UNHELPFUL AND EMBARRASSING. My dinner of halibut was just okay - small portion and dried out. Served inexplicably with garlic dumplings that did not compliment it. Once again, our waitress was a no-show as we ate; we had to flag her down to order more wine. Several of the folks liked their food more than I did but in all, it was overpriced and under-served by the staff.

I order steak and fries.
The steak was a bit cold, a bit hard to chew.
The fries were definitively cold, and probably cooked long time before my order. They were crispy and soft.
The side of vegetables was really small, and not roaster. In fact, they were soaking in sauce/oil.
Not a great experience this time.
