    The portions at founding farmers are getting smaller and smaller each time we visit, but the prices don’t seem to change. Service was good but definitely rushed.

    Brisket could be more tender, but the flavor was outstanding! Tsimmis and potato latkes also delishious. Had a lovely holiday meal. Thank you Founding Farmers!

    I had a regular breakfast. Nothing exciting there, just eggs ~n~ bacon. My brother had potato salad that was delicious! More exciting that what we get at home. While I didn't try any other menu items, I made a mental note to come back and try more foods.

    Food was good. Service was mediocre. It took a long time to get our food - people seated after us had their food before us. Lots of caveats when ordering - they are limited on what they will substitute. My friend didn’t get her side that she ordered. Also couldn’t believe a cup of black coffee was almost $5.

    We went to have Rosh Hashana dinner there. The chicken soup was good in that it wasn’t too salty, but it needed pepper. The matza balls were light and fluffy and the soup had nice big pieces of chicken. We were going to have the humus but they were out of it. How are you out of something when it’s still so early. We ate at 6:30pm. We had the brisket with tzimmes and potato latkes. I was a little annoyed that the soup and dinner both came out together. The brisket was good but not hot and the sauce was more like a BBQ sauce then a Jewish brisket sauce. The potatoe latkes and tzimmes were good but the whole plate was not hot. The latkes weren’t greasy. We would have enjoyed everything more if they didn’t bring out our dinner with the soup and if the food was hot. We didn’t stay for dessert because of the atmosphere. They seated us in the bar area and although I don’t usually care, it was very noisy and not relaxing. I’ve only been there a few times and I kept thinking it’s going to be better then it is. We had a reservation and were early and it wasn’t crowded so I don’t know why we weren’t seated in the main restaurant. Our waiter was very nice but he did not know anything about the Rosh Hashana menu. Management should go over everything on the holiday menu and let the staff taste everything so they know what it tastes like and can speak to it if someone asks a question. We weren’t impressed at all.

    Not impressed with our last visit. Hostess was non-accommodating. Food was served sloppily and service was nice, just not prompt. How do you serve cornbread without the butter and then make us feel like we are hassling you? Won’t return.

    I don't know why I keep going back to this restaurant because it was a waste of money! Food was NOT hot; steak was tough, crab cakes were mushy & very little crab, and the scallops & risotto was somewhat mushy. They also sent out the extra order of fries before our meal, when we specifically asked them to arrive with our dinner. These too were mushy & just warm. The manager did come out to discuss our issues and was very apologetic and offered us a box of their candy. The place was not crowded so I can't blame the food issues on the busyness of the restaurant because it was nearly empty. For the food not to be hot, is unacceptable, in any restaurant and when you spend over $200 for 4, you expect quality & HOT food!

    She did the bare minimum, stayed behind the counter most of the time. I took our order and I had to ask for a drink, never asked about a refill. Gave us the wrong check. The waitress clearly didn’t like her job. We were seated next to the kitchen and there was constant banging of dishes as they dumped dirty dishes into a bin just inside the kitchen.

    Pretty average experience for brunch. Food was good but portion size is small to average & toppings, like hollandaise on the brunch dishes, was skimpy but you can probably ask for extra. Overall it was acceptable and would return with a reservation but would never wait for a table. Brunch drinks were creative.

    Very simply. The food left a lot to be desired Overcooked steak, poor plating brisket not seasoned. It is obvious this restaurant is going down hill. A year ago there were no open tables at 6 pm on a Friday. Now it was about 40% filled

    The servers were not very helpful, and the food was not very good. Had high expectations, but I would not return. Even though it was not busy at the time that we went, the servers were rather slow and unattentive, and the food was not that great.

    Founding Farmer's Potomas in decline. We have noticed a steady decline in the quality of the food and service. Plus, it is well on its way to pricing itself out of the market. The variety of food is still strong but it's the quality that matters. And here they are falling behind the competition. There are plenty of dining options within 5 miles of this restaurant. It's probably a good time to start checking them out.

    we love this restaurant but had a slight issue with our server We placed our order and the server return to tell us that the kitchen was out of veggie sausages. I then changed my order completely When the check came, my husband did not notice that we were charged for three meals instead of two. We called this to the servers attention. Never once did he apologize. Certainly mistakes happen and it was quickly resolved. We were just disappointed that he didn’t apologize.

    They have a massive menu and everything they make contains soy except for the fish and the salads. Their “farm to table” theme is just a concept that they promote. The fact that so much of the menu contains soy tells me they are using cheap, mass-processed ingredients. Pastrami sandwich…soy. Mac and cheese…soy. Fried chicken…soy. Butternut squash ravioli…SOY (?!). An incredible disappointment.

Because we are a scratch kitchen, there is a concern for cross contact and we keep our guests with allergies as safe as possible. We are not "farm to table."     Had a quiet Sunday dinner. The restaurant was busy but our service was good. We enjoyed the cornbread skillet and the crab and artichoke dip starters. The butternut squash raviolis and the crab and shrimp risotto were very good entrees. While we ordered a sauvignon blanc, we were not impressed with the choices. They no longer offered a Marlborough SB. Can't have everything.

    Service awful, even when not busy. There was toilet paper on the floor outside of the restrooms, it went unnoticed even with a wait team huddle nearby. Wait service was slow and lackluster. Burgers were not worth $18 and were not made to order. We’ve been here before and the service was not this poor, nor was the food this disappointing.

    Disappointed with this visit vs. the last visit, pre COVID. The one thing my wife and I remembered was the coffee was very good with cinnamon sticks and each table had cinnamon sticks. No cinnamon sticks on the tables and the coffee was no longer memorable. The chicken and waffles, I can attest was good. Love the outdoor seating option. Had to locate our server on two occasions as she was not attentive to our needs.

    The service was exceptional!!! The best service I have received in years of eating out at different establishments. Regrettably the food was mid. I t was ABUNDANT for sure, but I would rather get smaller better quality portions over getting massive portions that are just meh. I had the dates wCheese wrapped in bacon, the bacon was barely cooked, if it had been crispy all through it would have been better. The beignets are a butter croissant dough that is fried, and each butter layer soaks up the oil it is fried in, you get 6 massive fried balls, the sauces were good though. I had the chicken and waffle, and I did not eat it. It was not good it was not even ok. I wanted to love it, I had heard so much about it. I mean even the coke was just a can that wasn’t cold, the coke can regular 12oz was $5 for 1 can. It was ok. the service saved the visit, I likely will not eat food there again.

    Our server, Isaac, was great as always. I had the chicken bolognese dinner, which was not as good as when I had it in the past. I have no complaints about the service, this time.

    One of our party (whose birthday it was) ordered a Vegetable Loaf. It was served to her barely at room temperature. When we complained, they took it back and promised to replace it. After more than 15, her dinner was still not replaced. We went to the manager to complain, because the rest of the party were already done with their dinners. I don’t know if was the kitchen or the waitstaff, but it was not acceptable. Even though the manager ended up comping the entire meal, it ruined the birthday dinner.

    Overall, awesome and amazing. The ONLY complaint I had was they seated us in an area with direct airflow from the vents so not only were we cold, but our food got cold quick too. Other than that, everything was fabulous. Highly recommend the beignets 👌🏻👌🏻

    Service was awful. Parties of 6+ automatically have a 20% tip added, but the service merited a 10% tip at best. The drinks took 25-30 minutes to come out, the appetizers were served without plates for everyone, we had to ask for the waiter to take our entree orders, etc.
