Food wasn’t as tasteful as the Pennsylvania Ave location.

My go-to for fresh organic farm to table food. Yum every time.
Normally change their menu seasonally.
They were very accommodating to our needs and delivered prompt and friendly service!

This is one of our favorites for special occasions and guests. The food is fresh and the menu evolves at the right pace so there's always new things to try as well as old favorites. Fresh ingredients expertly prepared make me always confident in bringing out of town guests. Wait-staff is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is a nicely casual modern. Highly recommend.
Went here for breakfast and it was great. I was diagnosed with an immune disorder that causes a lot of food allergies about a year and a half ago. While I've been figuring out what is and isn't safe for me to eat, I've only been able to eat homecooked food. This past week I've started trying to eat out for the first time since 2019 and our server, Chris, and the floor manager, Hannah, at Founding Farmers were so incredibly helpful and patient. It turned out the dish I had scoped out on the website prior to arriving wouldn't have been safe for me to eat, so they made me something different that was.
This might not seem like a big deal to everyone, but it is a massive deal to me. Being able to go out for a meal with friends and family after not seeing them much due to the pandemic (we're all vaccinated now) is amazing. Also, I can't even begin to tell you how annoying it is to be forced to make every single thing from scratch yourself for over a year because everything else has some type of problematic ingredient.
So, thank you so much Founding Farmers for helping me to regain some sense of normalcy! I really appreciate it and now I know what to order when I come back.
The service was excellent. Our server couldn’t have been nicer. The food came out hot and was delicious. The wine list is very good. We will be back.
After asking if we were celebrating a special event, and me communicating we were celebrating a birthday- my dad never even got a happy birthday from any staff member. Why ask if your not doing anything about it.

I enjoyed very much. I’ve been before and got terrible service to the point that we received free entre gift cards.. better service the second time but food was ok.. decided to try the third time and I actually enjoyed everything. Yes I will return because I really like the menu.
Made a reservation and when we arrived there were 4 young ladies at the front behind the glass. None of them treated us. We Attis there for almost 10 minutes and then we were seated. Young inexperienced waiter forget to put in our appetizer order so when the entrees arrived we said we had not received our appetizers. Waiter asked me what we ordered? I asked if he wrote it down. Manager came out and comped the apps, which she should have done. Waiter never asked if we wanted more drinks and refilled water. Food quality was poor at best. Steaks were fatty, were not seared and over salted. Vegetables were cold and asparagus I trimmed. Been there several times and always liked this place. Gone way down hill in my opinion. They no longer pay attention to the details. Lots of other places to go for the same money and better experience.
We had heard so many good things about this restaurant. But, Easter was not the day to go. The wait staff was overwhelmed but very nice. Everything took much longer that anticipated. The food was ok, not great.
Decent but pricey
Due to the last 1 1/2 year being unconventional, we decided to do Easter dinner that way too. We didn’t cook at home we most of have been stuck 😇 We had a superb server, Audra, and the food was delicious.
Went prior to the pandemic and food and service were great!
This time service was still good but food wasn't quite the same.
Also, keep in mind they add a COVID fee.
Maybe just an off day due to Easter Holiday rush.

Service was okay. Food was a little bland. Server did not inform us that we had exceeded our allotted time at the table. Instead of coming over and letting me us know since we felt we had a good interaction he sent a female of color to speak with us about the time. Additionally the supervisor on duty had visited our table several times and he could have let us know about the time limited as well. We understood the policy and would have gladly complied like we did if both the server and duty supervisor who were both white males had come and told us the same thing that the female of color told us. Who by the way never approach our table the entire time until she was told to let us we had pass our slotted time to be at the table. This made the entire experience a 3. We decided not to come back ever. Food wasn’t was okay.

Overall it was a disappointing experience. We had reservations, but still had to wait 25 min. to be seated, then had to wait to order and waited over 45 minutes to be served. Food was good, but expensive for what we got. We received a card that we had 90 minutes to clear the table, but had to wait so long that we went well beyond the 90 minutes.

Food was delicious! Service was good. The overall ambience was very good.
We sat outside. The heaters worked just fine.
Deviled eggs were very good. Fish and Chips entree was extremely bland, no taste to the fish at all. The batter must not have had any seasoning

My poached eggs with goat cheese and beets was very good, the ingredients were fresh but there were no herbs or spices in the dish so I had to add a lot of salt and pepper.
This restaurant never disappoints; great food, great service and great value.
The food was pretty good but the server seemed disinterested.

Rainy and cold (outside seating)
While the menu was varied and excellent, the price points were high, even before the 4% Covid surcharge.
I had a Reuben with asparagus and was disappointed in the quality of the vegetable. Sandwich was delicious.
Although, they did not have all day breakfast it was still a pleasant experience.
Had a very nice family dinner. Great service from our waiter! Great job complying with county's COVID directives
Delicious shrimp & crab salad. Staff coped well with sudden storm and ferocious winds.
Waitress (I believe her name was Hailey) was very kind and attentive and handled my "complicated order" brother very well. We had a great birthday brunch!
We sat outside in the tent on a rainy day and it was still a good experience. Our server, Lexi, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food was great, our waiter was fantastic, however having someone come over and reminding us that we have to leave because our 90 minutes is up was totally uncalled for. If she had just bothered to step back and watch us for one second, she would have realized that we were leaving instead, it was a crappy way to end my husband‘s birthday! Because of that I will never step foot into that founding farmers again!

My husband and I had been to Founding Farmers MoCo twice before, and had always had a wonderful experience. This time, however, the food was surprisingly less than satisfactory. I ordered a turkey sandwich. The roasted turkey had so much marbelized fat that I eventually resorted to opening the sandwich and pulling the meat from the fat with my fingers. The accompanying french fries were cold, and when we asked for replacement fries, they were no better. My husband said his Impossible Burger wasn't noteworthy. We were also there with a friend who ordered a green salad with chicken but was surprised to find that all of the chicken was dark meat. She had expected white meat, and would have liked to have known that it would be only dark meat because she would not have ordered that entree. I don't think we'll be returning soon, but hopefully our experience was just a fluke and not the new normal.

The greeting was curt telling you that you had 90 minutes to complete your dinner. Thereafter the service was excellent and efficient and the food was very well prepared and presented. We vacated in time but not sure how soon i will return to be told that i have so many minutes to finish my dinner.

Was the worst food I have ever had there. I have not been here in over a year and the food use to be the best quality. The food today was so bad I wouldn’t feed it to a stray animal. Seemed food was pre cooked then sat all day and microwaved. We sat in the covered outside there was trash on the floor and a dirty mask along with napkins gross.

My meatloaf (a signature dish) was dry and had a significant burnt crust around it. I have eaten here pre-pandamic and enjoyed the meatloaf.

This was my first time eating here since the pandemic and my friend and I ate inside. The restaurant took time to take COVID-19 precautions including social distancing, mandatory mask wearing, electronic menu, and more. I’ve had three family members die due to virus complications so I’ve been hesitant about dining out. However, I am at ease. Furthermore, Fatima was an exceptional waitress who attended to every need. She was friendly, warm, and genuine. I loved Founding Farmers Potomac before the pandemic, and yesterday’s service makes me love it even more.
