   Couldn’t have had a better first experience at Founding Farmers!! Our waitress was wonderful. The drinks were great! I got the painkiller and it was just what the Dr ordered ,so good! Food was excellent and I was totally impressed with I assume was the owner and his wife helping out the staff clean tables and also taking time to check on how we were and how our food was!! Total class!! Love this place! Our new favorite place

   The service was impeccable from start to finish. The price point; even after the last 2+ years is still affordable and the portions are not skimpy. The menu is simple, tasty and local. All in all; from DC’s origins to now in PA the brand is consistently great.

   Everything was awesome! Craig was an excellent server😀👍 Sorry I didn’t get pic of the apple pie. It was awesome because I had him add both caramel and maple glaze sauces to it.

   First, the food was incredible; super flavorful and not too heavy. However, the ambience and overall service left much to be desired. Our table was far too close to other parties which was uncomfortable. 5/10 recommendation.

   The online website for Founding Farmers brazenly states “See you next weekend”. That is exactly true! We made reservations at street level and when we got there, we were sent upstairs due to inadequate staffing but we were NOT disappointed! The food was amazing and the standout breakfast choice was the skillet scramble. The staff was well trained and super friendly. The buffet looked amazing and we will definitely return to try it! Everything is made from scratch and is super delicious! Highly recommend

    Went here with my wife and 2 year old son to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. The food quality was top notch on par with what you’d expect from a tiny family-owned hole in the wall that only serves 1 thing and does it well. But somehow Founding farmers pulls it off at on a huge scale and across a variety of food styles. We had crab cakes with fries, halibut with green beans and cheese ravioli bolognese. Each tasted like it was prepared by a chef who specializes in that specific style of food. Prices are about 2-3 times what you’d typically pay for any of those dishes in a small place, but you’re paying for the convenience of having it all, and for consistent quality. This is typical of an upscale corporate experience. The negative is that the restaurant is crowded and noisy, and the waitress seemed like she was stretched too thin and disengaged. Maybe it was because we had a toddler with us, but it felt like we had to prompt her to start each stage of the dining experience. I’d say, if someone else is paying, you want to satisfy a diverse group who wants great food, and you don’t care so much about the experience, Founding Farmers is a good bet.

    Average food. Expensive for what you get. Neither of us liked our dinner. Reservations but took forever to get a table. Probably not return here, this was second chance.

    We were practically pushed out the door and not able to enjoy our dinner. My friend and I had been planning for months for a get together and heard great things about the food here. If you’re looking for fast dining service this is it. If you are looking for a nice enjoyable dinner don’t go here. Our appetizers were no sooner placed on the table and they tried to leave our dinners as well. We asked them to take them back and a few minutes later they were brought back out. We were still eating the several apps we ordered that took up the entire table and were told “well they are going to have to make them all over again.” Clearly we were fine with that because we didn’t even get to eat our apps. Then as were continuing to eat our apps and chat they asked if we wanted boxes and if we were ready yet for our meals. They actually wanted us to tell them how many minutes until we were ready for dinner. They brought out our dinner and were asking us shortly after if we wanted a dessert menu or boxes. It was all very rushed and not an enjoyable experience. I won’t be going back.

    Went to celebrate the memory of a family member who loved going to Founding Farmers. As usual, it was hard to decide what to get. I'm glad I went with the special - halibut. The portions were perfect. Our server, Sabina, was attentive and friendly.

    Our server was amazing - the food was excellent and there was plenty of food on each dish. Portions are large. Not sure what was going on at the bar though - the first 3 beers I ordered were out of stock. I asked to server to bring me something similar and she did. Another guest ordered bourbon, and that was out of stock. The server suggested a maple type mixed drink and it tasted like toothpaste - no sure what's going on at this bar. Anyway, all had a good time and as I said, the service provided by our server was exceptional.

    Great atmosphere and food as usual - I love this location and the different sections that give you another interior design of the restaurant. I’ve been there 4 times in the last 6 months and I love the service, food, atmosphere, and beautiful views from the KOP plaza. Very great place for happy hour, date night, or just chilling with friends!

    We have visited Founding Farmers a few times and this was the first time we haven’t been impressed. We went to the brunch buffet and were disappointed in the experience. The selection of food was okay, but some of the food was lacking in flavor and cold. Many of the plates were empty and were not being refilled quickly. I expected that plates would be swapped out frequently, due to COVID precautions from people being near the buffet, but that wasn’t the case. Our reservation was at the end of the brunch crowd, so that may have impacted the food quality and availability of options. I didn’t feel that the quality of food was worth the $30 pp charge. The pros? The room we were in was very pretty. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

    My wife and I chose to go to brunch at Founding Farmers for our Anniversary, and are glad we did. Everyone was friendly, the service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. The brunch had a wide variety of food options, from french toast and pancakes to mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Whatever you choose to eat you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend the Founding Farmers brunch to everyone, just make sure to have an appetite, you'll need it.

    Founding Farmers was extremely crowded. The noise level was extreme. Way too many options and a lot of the serving dishes were empty. What we ate was good, but average. The hostess at the front desk went out of her way to seat us before our entire party was there because I am physically disabled and was having some problems ambulating. Our waitress was wonderful. Very nice and attentive. Bathrooms were very dark which made it dangerous for anyone to walk in, but especially those with physical disabilities. Someone could have easily fallen

    Nice Sunday brunch experience and food was varied and tasty. Quality of food was good. The only reason I didn't rate the food higher is the hot food and carving station selections were generally room temperature.

    An amazing place - gorgeous space with a great layout and tons of natural light. Various seating areas. Our hostess graciously seated myself and my friend in a quieter area, which was perfect for us. We didn’t even have to ask! The service was excellent. A gentleman, who may have been a manager, spent a good deal of time answering our questions about the menu. The food was great. The bakery smelled amazing, but I was too full to try any baked goods this time. I will certainly be a returning customer.

    Server was excellent and very attentive. Food was good, a little expensive for what you got though. Restaurant is charging a "Restaurant Recovery" tax that was small but unknown before we got the check.

    Enjoyed another great meal at Founding Farmers. Delicious cocktails and consistent high quality food and service keep us coming back. They have a lovely bakery downstairs which means a variety of fresh breads. The fried chicken is worth indulging. Everything comes out fresh hot and exquisitely prepared. To finish it off we shared the affogato which was so delicious and preferable to the version you can order at Davios. Service was excellent. Everything was well explained and provided with the right balance of attentiveness. You will need to make a reservation as they are very busy and you will discover why. Add this one to your list if you have never tried.
