Seemed like they may have been short staffed, so I feel bad saying anything, but feedback is feedback. We sat in the tent outside. Took more then 20 minutes to get drinks, all 3 of out meals came out cold, and it was pretty expensive. Left disappointed. Hopefully it's a temporary issue, the menu and location are both nice
First time at the spot. Nice outdoor seating but sometimes passing cars felt a need to gun engIne and make more noise. Server returned almost ten minutes after taking order to inform that one of the group’s dinner entrees was not available. Rather than bring a menu when sharing this information she asked whether we needed a menu. Only one of our foursome liked their dinner. She had the shrimp and grits. The steak, pappardelle, and eggplant were just barely acceptable. Our server gave us the wrong check that ended up resulting in about ten minutes to fix before we could leave. W will not return.
Bummer. :( We are so sorry for the multiple disappointments encountered with your experience and feel badly both the service & a majority of the dishes ordered fell short. :( I would love the chance to turn around the poor impression you left with, and ask you to please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined and location. -Amy
Graduation and Birthday celebration
It took forever to get our food and the check. The staff wasn’t as knowledgeable about the food. But the food was delicious.
Great experience everytime! Will be back again soon.
you can’t go wrong with the valley forge breakfast and a nice cocktail for a good meal and drink.
Great place but this time steak wasn't cooked properly, place was super busy so even with reservations we had to wait another 15 mins or so..
We had a fantastic time!
Great food, great environment, helpful staff, and a phenomenal value in a fantastic location. As a frequented of King of Prussia it is perhaps my favorite spot in town.
Wonderful new trainee who was pleasant, friendly. Order was a bit off but she quickly remedied with a smile.
The food was just okay. Much different than our experience at the D.C. Founding Farmer's experience. I got a spicy margarita, told the server there was no spice at all, and this was after her telling me they were very spicy. Basically there was no tequila in it at all🤣 It was grapefruit, lime and simple syrup. The pesto shrimp fettuccine was super bland, don't recommend.
Amazing atmosphere and food is to die for! Cant wait to go back!
I was extremely disappointed with the level of service as well as the quality of food. It took over an hour for our food to arrive to our table (after I inquired) and then when it arrived you could tell it had been sitting for quite some time. My husband also had to ask 3-4 times for his beverage, which he ordered during the time we placed our food order.
The restaurant is currently charging a 5% recovery fee which I would have no problem paying (seeing I too work in the hospitality field) if the level of service and quality of food where up to par.
Hi Shannon: I am very sorry the service missed the mark this time. :( I'd appreciate the chance to follow up and turn this around! Please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Amy
We went for the Sunday Brunch buffet. There were many types of foods to choose from, only thing missing was an omelette station and fresh Belgian waffle station. Everything tasted very good and fresh. They kept everything well stocked. Our only complaint was that the desserts listed in the brunch buffet menu were not available on the buffet for you to get, the server just brings your entire table a plate of 5 tiny pieces, one of each type of dessert. I’ve never seen this at any restaurant brunch buffet before, at other restaurants you get to go to the dessert buffet table and pick the dessert you want. I’m guessing they do this to limit people from taking too many desserts, but for the price you’re paying I think you have a right to pick the dessert you want and more than one if you want. Everyone at our table wanted to try the peanut butter pretzel bar and there was only one tiny piece and no one wanted the piece of bread pudding, we asked the server if we could have two more pieces of the peanut butter bar and he replied that there was a knife to cut the one piece up to share, this square was literally one inch by one inch and they wanted us to cut it into 3 pieces, that’s pretty cheap of the restaurant!
Ambiance was great, we sat downstairs and ate from the menu for brunch. Service was great. Food was fine, nothing special but good.
EXCEPTIONAL! We have never had a bad dining experience at Founding Farmers. The staff goes out of their way to make us feel like VIPs. They are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Shanice, Marie, Jamie and Dar provided us with great food and drink recommendations and they made a point of coming by our table often to check on us. I would definitely recommend Founding Farmers to anyone who is looking for a feel good dining experience.
This was our first time eating at Founding Farmers all the food was delicious we will definitely bring our friends and family back for a second try, the only complaint was our waitress never came over to the table to check and see if we needed anything I had to flag her down because my husband wanted a diet soda.
Food was very good.
Love the food and the outside atmosphere. One of our favorite places.
