We really enjoyed our dinner. The food was delicious and service was great. We had the cauliflower hummus appetizer which was so tasty. And had the Brussels sprouts salad with the herb chicken-so delicious!

The restaurant was very crowded, and as a result, the buffet items during brunch were depleted quickly and not replenished in a timely manner. On several occasions, I walked up to the buffet only to find it still empty. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and forgot our drinks multiple times, leaving us waiting for long stretches. While the food we did try was delicious, we unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy much of it due to the constant shortages. Having only one buffet station is insufficient for such a large crowd—at least two stations would help manage the flow and improve the overall experience. Service and staffing could also use improvement to better handle busy periods.

Noise level was unbearable. My friends and I won’t be coming back anytime soon. Also - small glasses of wine really expensive. Food mediocre.

The food was delicious and our server was very nice as well My only issue was we arrived a few minutes before 6 PM, our reserved time. The app sent a message saying our table was ready. We did not get seated until almost 6:20. The problem with that was, we were hoping to have a more leisurely dinner before going to the Kennedy Center for 730. I did not get to finish my $21 glass of wine!

In fairness to the restaurant I didn’t know it was a buffet when I booked brunch but having said that every item we tried was bland. The service was great, the cocktails were strong, the coffee was good but @ $60pp I’d never come back again.

We were sat at a table in the corner and it was so loud it was not acceptable and we asked to me relocated which happened. The north portion of the restaurant needs sound attenuation. It was horrible. My friends dinner was very grisly and full of ligaments and knuckles in a chicken breast entree. His meal cost was removed from the bill. But that needs to be fixed. I choice a founding father’s restaurant based off of past experiences at all founding fathers restaurants in the DC area.

My adult son and I had an early dinner before catching a movie in Georgetown and enjoyed sitting on the patio (in the shade!). I noticed that the dining room seemed a bit loud, but the patio allowed for easy conversation. We each had a cocktail (Cucumber Delight and Clementine), we shared an appetizer (Calamari done just right), and each had an entree (Kale salad and Steak Frites) - all for a total of $125 including tip. Not a bargain but very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Everything about the evening was enjoyable. We've been here several times and always have a good experience.
