   It’s a shell of its former self. Food was so-so. Staff seemed overwhelmed. Manager was very attentive to dietary restrictions which was a plus. But quality and value have diminished significantly. Example: Farmer Salad with chicken forgot to come with chicken. Then chicken quickly reheated and sent to table just by itself. Glazed salmon was a sadly small portion.

   We’ve visited FF several times but for brunch or dinner. This was the first time we went for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Great food, great service, and beautiful weather for outdoor dining. Definitely repeatable.

   We enjoyed having dinner at Founding Farmers-DC. The food was very good - I was craving vegetables and the green beans were just what I needed. They have good vegetarian options. My cocktail was also good. My friend also liked her meal. I would return and also recommend it!

   We had a very nice celebratory graduation lunch here. Pretty good food and atmosphere, rather loud, but our server Taylor was fabulous. She made the meal!

    Went to Founding Farmers for a mid-week lunch with a friend. Good to see the restaurant seemingly as busy as pre-pandemic with a long line for lunch, which also made me glad I had an Open Table reservation! I had the green salad with roast chicken, and it was delicious and a good sized portion. Service was friendly and attentive and we had a wonderful lunch and long over due catch up.

    Victor was an excellent waiter. He was attentive, friendly and patient! Food was incredible!! The best we had in DC. Loved it so much, we are booked to come back for breakfast in the morning!

    We actually went twice in a week. My son, who we dropped off for his internship liked it so much the first time... Both times the food was excellent. The fried chicken and waffles, the meat loaf, and the chicken pot pie were great. There was a good beer and wine list as well. The waitresses were busy, and the food came VERY slowly. That was the biggest issue as the wait was not great either time. The second time we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation to be finally seated. So alot to like, but you had better set extra time aside.

    Still good but not as good as it used to be. Bread was delicious, on our sandwiches, but they didn’t have the bread the menu said it was served with. Then the bread we asked for wasn’t even used. On two sandwiches. Other parts of the meal were wrong, they said they would bring the corrections and they never did. Overall, meh, may not continue to come back.

    Food took one hour to arrive, and we only had one portion of cornbread to share as a starter. Did not enjoy popcorn in my corn cob salad. Chicken in the salad was soggy.

    It takes a while to get seated and to be able to talk to your server. After that, the experience is great for both service and quality of food. Sit outside if you want to be able to carry on a conversation, it is LOUD inside. (This was my second time there and it was the same both times).

    Service was great. Cocktail was perfection. Only thing is that the crab shrimp risotto was long grain rice done very dry with tough overcooked shrimp. Not creamy whatsoever. A pricey fail.

    What a disappointment. I have had such great experiences in the past last night was just awful. We had flown in from Europe and had a 7PM ET reservation it was 754PM before we got service... and then the soup took another 20 minutes after that. We saw our server 2 times the entire evening and had to get one of the managers to place our order. The food is always amazing.

    There was 6 of us and 3 were kids 8-14 and we ordered 5 meals. We ate everything not because there wasn’t enough food but because it was all so good! Chicken and waffles, sampler platter the chilli dog was the bomb as was the ribs!!, 2 pot roast meals were great and a goat cheese ravioli with chicken and butternut squash sauce was to die for!! Thought about dessert but couldn’t quite pull the trigger! Must visit!!

    We went here for brunch and were seated quickly. I would have given the food a 5, but the coffee was a bit weak and they infuse their maple syrup with cinnamon, which I would have preferred to have pure maple syrup for my pancakes (which were huge and very tasty). And, while at the service was generally good, I had to wait quiet a bit before I could flag someone down to ask about the syrup. We also purchased a box of their chocolate assortment and I highly recommend you do the same. It is soooo good!

    Food is always mediocre. Steaks lack flavor and the mac&cheese should be taken off the menu completely. Saving grace is the french toast and apps are usually all good. Would only return for apps and drinks as the entrees are usually a let down.

    Our brunch was amazing! Best chicken and waffles we've ever had, and the french toast was most satisfying. The bellini was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The highlight of the meal was the chicken and apple sausage. We were seated outside on the patio which was perfect because the noise level inside was a bit much.

    Founding Farmers - DC was quite the delicious find. The pasta was homemade and certainly was an innovative spin on macaroni and cheese, with the seven cheeses said to be found inside all blended seemlessly to form a yellow-gold color. Additionally, the dish took the creative decision to add chicken tenders on top of the macaroni, combining to classic American staples into a single dish. Although I can only speak to one dish, I would definitely reccomend giving Founding Farmers a try/

    This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The wash absolutely delicious. The hand mixed cocktails were on point. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. The syrup was cinnamon and so good. I had the beignets for dessert with chocolate, Carmel and raspberry sauces. The waiter was super nice and very knowledgeable. I will definitely visit again.

    Delicious food, as always. And very busy, as always. Our server was swamped and we would have appreciated a little more attention (like when we asked for a high chair and had to remind him three times). But everyone was very friendly and helpful. Just slow.
