    Always get a reservation, if you don't want to wait or cancel your plans. Arrive early for lunch. Food as always good but nothing extraordinary. Central location in DC. A place to go definitely.

    Good food, but the best part was the service--ask for the server names Kim, she is a superstar. We were thrilled that they took my special request into account and gave us a round table in the corner. Great experience!

    The blueberry pancakes (4 of them!!) were SO yummy! Light and fluffy and delicious. Only thing that would have improved them is more blueberries inside the pancakes.

    Wonderful brunch experience - great food with attentive service. Lots of great vegetarian menu options for my daughter and meat options for me. :-) I do recommend having a reservation to ensure not having to wait.

    A D.C. classic, and always good when you're craving Americana. Can be a bit noisy, and a bit on the pricey side, but given the location and popularity that's to be expected.

    Honestly, I got the best pancakes of my life here! The server was great and super friendly. The food? A BANGER! We got avocado toast and egg white, chef’s joes egg scramble, fresh fruit, pancakes, lemonade and green tea for under $70. Everything was pure perfection.

    We come up to DC each year for the army band’s Christmas concert. A favorite part of our tradition is to eat breakfast at Founding Farmers. The food is so good and they try hard to get our big group seated together. I would recommend highly.

    Our meal was outstanding! Everyone in our party enjoyed their main and dessert. My only caution, is avoid the deviled eggs as a starter unless you like them mild and somewhat bland. Made us nervous for the rest of the meal, but everything, including cocktails, was excellent! We will definitely go again when in town

    I have a few favorite dishes at Founding Farmers but today I decided to try the glazed cedar plank salmon. Yikes, it was way too salty. Very disappointing.

    This place has good food but anything good stops there. We had a 730 reservation didn’t get sat till 8. Had to sit at a table with another group. Normally a decent restaurant would ask. Drinks then took another 30 minutes. Water constantly empty. Glass of wine was definitely not fresh! Disappointed to say the least!

    Exceptional service, great hostess and staff. Our waiter was amazing and provided very good insight on what to try since it was our first time. We enjoyed all of the food and drinks, especially the peach Bellini, we will definitely be back again soon

    Visited two mornings in a row while in town on vacation. Food was great and cooked to perfection both times. Service was top notch upstairs the first morning and mediocre the next. The hostesses both mornings were poor first impressions. The floor managers were borh excellent and kept a good eye on customer experience

    Our table was 40 min late , so we had to wait in a very crowded bar area. We’re not offered a complimentary drink. The food was mediocre. The crispy fried chicken was not crispy bur chewy and the salmon dry. It was Thanksgiving evening, so busy a busy day for them, but still, they could have done better.

    We made our reservation well in advance, about two months before Thanksgiving, yet we had to wait for one hour to be seated. The entrance was packed with people waiting to be seated as well. We think the restaurant welcomed walk-ins while the customers who had made a reservation had to wait a long time standing up. Furthermore, once we were seated, several of the menu options for dessert were already gone. We wanted chocolate cake and they had run out of it. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, to be honest.

    Amazing! Great Thanksgiving meal. The restaurant overbooked our reservation for 7:30 pm, but we weren't seated until 8:30 pm. The staff was pleasant, and the food was tasty.

    There were management issues regarding reservations and crowd control. Also, the food was not warm or hot when it was served, and we were sitting inside. I might go back on a non-holiday, just to see if the restaurant is managed any better, but NEVER again on Thanksgiving.

    My wife and I decided to visit DC for our thanksgiving. One of our concerns was what we would do for a thanksgiving meal, and Founding Farmers came through with a wonderful and complete feast. We were treated like family with rockstar service and excellent food. Thank you!

    Came to Washington over Thanksgiving, and made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Founding Farmers. Our reservation was for 6:15, but didn’t get seated to almost 7. There wasn’t a lot of restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinners so they were back up. Once seated though it was awesome. The amount of food served for $45 was insane. Starting with the bread plates, the corn bread was soooo good, then my son and I had the butternut squash soup while everyone else had a salad. We all ordered turkey as our meat, but there was at least 6 different offerings. Our turkey came with cornbread stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes and a sweet potato, brussel sprouts and cranberry sauce. Everything was delicious! I wish I could’ve eaten everything but it was so much. Then the desserts….. I had Pecan pie, which looked like 2 slices with ice cream, also tried at the table were pumpkin pie, apple-cranberry pie, and pumpkin spice cheesecake. We travel to different places every year on Thanksgiving, and this was by far my favorite dinner served!

    The prime rib was amazing. The Thanksgiving sides plentiful and delicious. Minus there being no cream-pies :( the food proportions were very generous and the whole meal felt like a great deal. The wait staff was friendly despite the busy atmosphere. We enjoyed our interactions with all staff members, enjoyed the food (although the ham was pretty standard), and enjoyed the warmth and bustle of the ambiance. A great place for a meal!

    Had to wait 30 minutes for a table with a reservation but I figure it was Thanksgiving so that might be the norm. Food was amazing but it was very rushed. Starters came out and food was right behind it barely giving time to finish one. Then we waited ages for dessert to show up. Waitstaff was great.
