I made reservations to dine before a show at HOB. We were able to enter early and surpass the long line. Everyone from the security at the door, hosts, bartenders and servers were incredibly friendly and kind. The service was great, and the food was delicious. We got a table in the dining room where we were able to watch the pre-show while we had a drink and a bite to eat. I highly recommend visiting the foundation room and getting passes for any HOB show.
We were surprised at being able to get reservations before a show without being members. Cool place, good food, music set the pre-concert vibe. Would definitely come back before a show.
It was convenient before an event but for the additional cost did not provide high end menu and drinks.
Drinks are pricey, food meh, But if you just want a place to hang out ahead of the concert (for a fee), it might be worth it to you.
What a great setting for music and dining. Fun!!!
surprisingly good food!!!!!! had steak med rare (great), salmon med (slightly underseasoned but charred just right), solid cocktails but sparse on the high end, ie, no whiskey older than 12
Fantastic choice and well worth it.
Honestly, while the room is cool and it's nice to have a place to hang, service was super slow. It appeared that there were only 2 waitstaff working. The food was ok, but I wished there were more apps to choose from. It's really awkward eating dinner on a couch. It was nice, but for the extra money it cost, we will opt for a nice dinner elsewhere preshow next time.
I was allowed to make reservations for a night that was closed due to a private event. I'm not sure where the communication fell apart between OpenTable and House of Blues (Foundation Room), but it left me with no dinner options that night. I was very disappointed as I had been looking forward to dining there as well as not being notified that the foundation room would be closed for dinner.
Excellent experience! It was our first time at the House of Blues and the Foundation Room. The atmosphere and food were amazing.
The food wasn’t good at all. The service and drinks and space prior to the concert is good. But I wouldn’t plan to have dinner there again.
Literally the worst service we’ve ever had. Took 3 hours to from arrival until we finished and we never received our salad course even after telling the waitress. Had to go to bar to get drinks because the waitress only showed up about once an hour. Then our bill had other people’s drinks on it in addition to our own. Needless to say we didn’t pay for anything.
It was great! We loved our booth with the curtain and being able to drink right up to the start of the show. We also loved that our bone marrow came in a bone. Thanks!
The Foundation Room was a fun experience. We were there on a Fenway concert night, so there was a limited menu but what we ordered was delicious. Our waitress was not very attentive but other than that we enjoyed.
