Forza Storico is a traditional Italian restaurant focused on typical Roman dishes such as Carbonara, Amatriciana, Cacio e Pepe and may more. Our Italian wine list is comprised of 80 labels, 30 of which by the glass and all chilled to perfection. I deply appreciate Patrick's help with the always cumbersome ParkMobile app. He seated us at a lovely outside table with an excellent server, Telia. However, in both the OpenTable reservation and in speaking to Patrick upon our arrival, I mentioned we were celebrating a Very Big Birthday (my friend turned 80!) and asked if an acknowledgement could be made. Patrick said they would be happy to put a candle in one of the desserts; he didn't say if the dessert would be complimentary. No matter; either way would have been fine. So we ordered our Negronis (outstanding!), the carciofo appetizer (too salty), the focaccia bread service (delicious) and our pastas (the lemon pasta special was to die for) plus a side of spinaci (too much garlic for my taste but I think that's an individual thing). Then we ordered one dessert to share. No acknowledgement, no candle. I was disappointed. The music as always was too loud so we asked Telia to see if the volume could be lowered and she happily and readily complied. I really appreciate that. All in all we had a lovely evening at Forza Storico but I wish I could have rated everything with five stars.

The food and service were impeccable. I love the outdoor patio. You feel like you’re in Italy. There are heaters during the winter so it’s fine all year.

I have been looking for amatreciana pasta since my trip to Rome this year and Forza Storico has it (the only place that I have found in Atlanta that does) and it is delicious. The caprese is fantastic as well. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They have delightful wine options. Will be coming back regularly!

A wonderfully pleasant atmosphere! Unlike last time, there were plenty of attendants, and we were served quickly with excellent quality. The food arrived promptly, and everything was impeccably done. The climate was excellent, and the outside environment was both pleasant and beautiful.

Dinner was good overall. My friends and I shared plates of pasta. We ordered the Bolognese, Ox tail and Arrabbiata. We all agreed the Bolognese was the best with a wonderful rich sauce. The Ox Tail rigatoni was second with a deep and savory taste. Some of the bites were a bit dry (which can happen) but overall a tasty dish. The Arrabbiata was just ok. Maybe a bit bland for us when compared to the other two dishes. Negroni was very good and solidly balanced.

Food was delicious! We went on a Thursday night, which had drink specials, including $10 glasses of wine. Wine was OK but at $10/glass I'm not complaining. Our meals came out promptly. Drinks were a little slow to come out, and the waitress was fine. We sat around a bit for the bill before realizing it was a QR code/scan pay system; would have been nice to get a heads-up but that's not a criticism. We will definitely be back (probably another Thursday night)!

The service we received was extremely disappointing. We had to return three of our entrées, one of which was overly salty and the other two had an unexpected seafood taste despite our not ordering any seafood dishes. When we informed our server about the situation, he appeared irritated and told us he would return shortly. However, he disappeared for a whole 15 minutes, leaving us waiting for him to address our concerns. We had to repeatedly request basic items. It would be greatly appreciated if the establishment refrains from including a service fee of 22% when the server fails to provide basic customer service during our dining experience.

We were sitting outside and it started raining but the staff got us situated under an umbrella and we were nice and dry for our meal! The focaccia service is so yummy: I got the Cornish game hen Diavolo…it was just the right amount of spicy and tender. Nice! Drinks were great as well.

Leo was our server. He did a fantastic job letting the table flow as it needed to. suggesting to course items out and pair them with wine so we have a better dining experience. was always looking for eye contact if we needed anything and will definitely be back with more friends next time.

We were surprised after reading other reviews. We ate here on a Saturday night, and the noise level was very, very loud. It was busy and vibrant, which is nice. The service was just ok, which is understandable when it's so busy. The food was ok, nothing remarkable. I had the salmon which was cooked well. My spouse had the Cornish hen, which he enjoyed. The pesto pasta with shrimp was good, but nothing outstanding. You can't see the menu due to the low light, and again, the noise really precluded conversation.
