Growing up in Shanghai, China and living in Vancouver, BC brought about the beginnings of Lucy Yong’s love for authentic Chinese Cuisine. After moving to Dallas, Lucy dearly missed her favorite Chinese specialties she had loved so much. Lucy dreamed of bringing the real thing to DFW and decided she must make it happen. She began courting her two favorite Chinese Chefs from Vancouver to come to Dallas to help her live her dream and open The Fortune House in Las Colinas. They agreed, they came and the rest is history.
Lucy, with her renowned Chefs, welcome you!

The shao long bao (Shanghai dumplings) are outstanding and authentic. Apparently, they even hired a chef from Shanghai to make these as well as the pan-fried version. Some of the other notable dishes include the green onion pancakes, the moo shoo chicken (with authentic "tortillas" that are homemade), the orange beef, the beef with wide noodles, and the green beans.

We had terrible service. We had to ask for EVERYTHING (e.g., menus, drinks, refills, silver/chopsticks, the bill, etc.).

And my food was inedible.

Yet they had many many customers. I am not sure why ... as I will never go back.

They had a fabulous view is the best thing I can say.

Love Fortune House - best juicy dumplings and pan-fried pork buns. They are a little pricey but the food is always good.
