extraordinary family dining experience through
passion, love and inspiration for our craft.
We have eaten here many times and that's because the food is always excellent.
Fortunato adds new specials all the time and they are always awesome!!
Good and service wonderful but extremely noisy. Not conducive to conversation at table.
Great homemade mushroom ravioli with alfredo sauce. Sauce was not too heavy and the portions were generous. Canoli for dessert! Great experience.
We visited on a Sunday evening and it was really quiet there. We ordered a pizza that was amazing - fresh sauce and cheese, and the crust was very good. We also ordered two caesar salads, one with shrimp and one with chicken. The chicken and shrimp were both cooked through. The salad ingredients were also fresh, nice and crispy. Oh, and the bread!!!! We all also ordered wine and liked our selections. The service was great, staff friendly, and meal was served quickly. Maybe the most important thing - you can eat off the floors. The restaurant was extremely clean - not fancy, and really clean.
Have dined here a few times and think the food is very good but this time, my husband and I made later reservations as we recommended the restaurant to a few friends who wanted to go with us, and unfortunately, the restaurant was short-staffed. We had to request bread and butter 3 times and never received it. One of the people in my party didn't receive her entree after all the other people in my party were served - and unfortunately, the woman who was helping us didn't understand and this took several minutes before the entree was finally delivered.
Food was great as always! One of our favorite places to go to when we are in the area.
Came in on a Wednesday night and had the place almost to ourselves. But the people coming in for takeout—they raved about the food. One had relatives from Italy who said it was the best Italian they’d ever had. We agreed the food and service were fantastic.
Was an awesome meal. Service was excellent. Real Italian as opposed to American Italian. Would definitely go back
The pizza was delicious. Small, intimate restaurant. We were too full for dessert, but it looked delicious and we’ll get some next time. Just beer and wine. No mixed drinks.
Small, family owned restaurant serving excellent Italian cuisine. Caesar salad was delicious and enough to share. We each had a pasta dish and both were outstanding. Their sauce is one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The bread was warm with just the right amount of seasoning. We did not have dessert, but they looked delicious. A wonderful dining experience.
Second time at this restaurant and my husband and I love it. I had Veal Milanese and hands down, this was the best Milanese I have ever had. This was a special and I hope to see this entree added to their menu as my husband and I plan to dine there at a later date with some friends before the Summer ends.
I highly recommend this restaurant as it is a hidden gem and happy we stumbled upon it.
Ate here for the first time last week. best eggplant parmesan I have ever had. my mother had the veal parmesan and loved it. Fear service and friendly staff. Will be back.
Fortunato’s has the best authentic wood oven pizza we have ever had. The Margherita has the perfect blend of basil, sauce and cheese. 2nd favorite is the Quattro Formaggi for white pizza lovers. The crust is light and crispy - perfection👏take out every Friday night here.
Outstanding best red sauce I have eaten the owners are very nice and make you feel at home
Birthday. Great service and food. Would definitely recommend and go again
Loved this little restaurant! Food & service was excellent and prices were very reasonable. Everything was delicious and the owners couldn’t have been nicer, will definitely go back,
Excellent Italian dinners and dessert. Inexpensive but good wine.
Authentic Italian Food. You feel like your eating in Italy! Excellent quality! Best brick oven pizza along with all of the menu options and delicious dessert/pastries
Best Chicken Parm around! Great menu, friendly people. I would tell all my friends, if you looking for Italian Food Takeout/dine in Fortunado's is excellent.
Very good quality home made food. We started out with a yummy pizza from the wood fired oven. Had a few appetizers and full meals. Normally that would have been way too much but we felt there was just enough room for desserts from the new pastry display. I has the peanut butter mousse and she had the cheesecake. Great food, Very nice people and it won't break the bank.
This was such a great find. One of the best. The owner waited on us, wine was awesome, appetizers, dinner and home made desserts. Will be our place after we go to Logan ❤️
We had a blast! Mike from NH
Loved it! Quaint, great food, excellent friendly service.
I can’t believe I just found this gem! From the garlic bread to the clams (it was a special) to the last bite of my dinner.
Best red sauce I’ve ever had.
Will be returning
Excellent as always. This is truly our favorite restaurant. We love the family atmosphere and everyone here treats you like guests in their house. Food is always delicious and plentiful. Service is efficient and friendly. Make sure you save room for dessert because Fortunato is simply the best baker. His tiramisu takes us back to our honeymoon in Italy. You may want to grab a couple more desserts to go before heading off, otherwise you'll be saying to yourself "could've should've".
This is a great place for homemade and delicious Italian food. Start with the garlic bread! The veal special was perfectly cooked for one family member. The soup of the day, tortellini in chicken broth, was wonderful.
Pleasantly surprised. Calamari was light and very good. Beautiful salads and pizza was some of the best we’ve had. The pasta with Bolognese a little disappointing but everything else was super. Definitely coming back . Love the family service too.
the best veal parm and chicken parm for the price .
Food was above average. I would go back for takeout for sure. However, we were charged $2 for bread that came to the table when we first arrived. I have never seen anything like this in my life. It's hard to understand paying for something that you did not directly ask for.
Great meal. Food was fantastic. Chicken parm was outstanding.
Excellent experience. The food is top notch and the service from the staff is amazing.
Like stepping into a resturant in a small Italian town , quaint, Italian accents from the staff and the wood fired pizza oven was awesome. Food was excellent and well priced, I’ll be back!
Service was wonderful, not rushed. Food was excellent, generous portions, lots of desserts to choose from.
Delicious meal and family owned restaurant. Very friendly.
food was prepared to high standards, was fresh and the sauce was on the money.all three of us would go back.
Family sang happy birthday to my husband and brought tiramisu
Outstanding service, food and experience! Highly recommended!
Thank you so very much ! Famiglia Conte
Great family run restaurant! Excellent service and delicious food! Totally enjoyed!
We love Fortunato's! It has become not only our go-to Italian restaurant, but overall favorite. My husband and I order the same 2 dishes when we dine here. His is Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare and I do Spaghetti with Clams. The sauces are always perfectly seasoned, and the portion is just right. The last visit we also ordered Fried Calamari as a starter and the calamari was so juicy and tender. What I love most about Fortunato's is the experience you get when you come here. Fortunato is a delightful man who takes the time to get to know his customers. He treats his new customers the same way as he treats his regulars. He is engaging, even to the young ones. If you have never been here, do come. Save room for dessert because Fortunato himself is the best pastry chef in the world. He makes the most unbelievable tiramisu! You'll be thinking about it for days!
Loved the restaurant. We have visited Italy many times and Fortunato's was like I was in Italy again. This is a family run restaurant, they are doing it ALL in these trying times and they take pride in doing it. We had reservations at 7 and the restaurant went from two tables of two, to every table being filled within 15 minutes. I don't think there were more than six or seven people serving and cooking and they all worked together to get us all served and it was delicious. I don't know how they achieved that! From the wine, bread, apps, main courses and then the amazing deserts. I give it 5 stars... Oh btw..our waiter, the owner, made all of the fabulous deserts. Please, give this restaurant a try.
