   Great place to eat and play with exceptional vibes. Staff were fabulous and in particular the staff member who came over to our table while we where playing Scrabble, helped us play, and had some good laughs! Overall incredible experience made complete by the good vibes and the genuine, kind, and interested staff. :)

   We had a really good time at Fortress. The food was good, but the chips were a bit soggy. The VIP booth was awesome! We had so much fun! We had a problem with one of our controller and a staff member was quickly there to help and fix the issue. Overall, pretty happy with everything! We will definitely be back!

    Needed a venue to host a DnD game, the players a spread out all across Melbourne so being in the CBD is nice and central. The great range of food and drinks on offer and absolutely top notch service made the whole experience amazing. The venue though a busy Saturday, my players rarely had a hard time hearing me.

    I took my daughter to Fortress for her birthday and the staff went all out to make it a truly memorable night. We always love coming here. From the food to games, to service to atmosphere, it’s a 10/10 every single time!

    Been to Fortress many times, never disappoints. The staff were very helpful with setting up the game consoles, as we had no idea, and the 8 and 10 year old didn’t either, so the Staffs help was brilliant.

    Second time attending first time eating. The team there are really helpful. The booths are great value with you being able to redeem the value on food and drink. The food was all delicious. We will definitely be back again!

    The lighting was too dark which made it difficult to see the board games. Limited ps4 game selection, slow ps4 which took 2 minutes to just start a game of crash bandicoot racing. Food was good but limited vegan food. Also board games weren’t good, no chess, monopoly, playing cards or uno.

Around 40% of our current menu is either vegan or have vegan options available. We're making changes to our digital menu to make sure this is clear to all patrons.     Staff were super helpful and although they couldn’t get the Xbox to work for us they gave us a free hour for our booth and a round of drinks. We all had a great time and highly recommend Fortress for a night out with your friends :)

    Fortress is extremely loud and overwhelming. The music is up too loud, especially for neurodivergent folk. The TV brightness in the booth was also up too high for the low lighting in the Tavern - my partner had to wear sunnies to escape the glare. The game selection on the consoles was very limited and none of the games were ready to go; we had to scroll through a bunch of T&Cs to access the games. The food and drinks were good and the service was great. I'd love to go back here again but I would want it to chill a bit more.

    My burger n chip combo - chips were floury as they were under done. So too was the Hawaiian pizza as the cheese was clumped in the middle. My daughter was hungry so she ate it around the outside. My son has the hotdog and french fries which was great

    Well we were visiting from Adelaide and found this place via Google. We were not disappointed! Food in the tavern was great, VIP gaming booth experience was fun, PC hire was a hit with my grown boys, Atmosphere and set up was AMAZING! Would recommend pre-booking a VIP booth - 1 hour was not enough, by the time we ordered snacks etc... You need 2 hours at least. Do yourselves a favour and check this place out though, it's well worth it!
