   Truly excellent food when we had dinner there last Saturday evening. As good as any meal I can remember in Edinburgh. Service was first class. Will happily return.

   It's been a while since I visited Forth Floor, but was pleasantly surprised at the increase in attentive service we received. The food was outstanding and definitely didn't disappoint.

   All the food was absolutely delicious, as usual, and the service was very efficient and friendly. This is a fantastic place for a special meal.

   Great restaurant. Fantastic views of the castle, food was delicious and staff were very helpful. Will definitely come back next time. There was a service charge of 10% but we were told we could remove this.

   We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was fantastic. We had asked for a table overlooking the city and they were more than accommodating. The view was fantastic! Our waitstaff was composed of three ladies that provided impeccable service. Hazel was our main waitress while being assisted by Analeese and a greek lady that we didn't get her name. We had the 5 course tasting menu that night and it was amazing which paired well with our wine. I would highly recommend Forth Floor to anyone wanting to have a sophisticated evening.

   We were booked for the 5 course menu deal in the main restaurant. However, the day before our reservation, we were contacted directly by the restaurant to apologise that there had been 'a mix up in bookings' and that they could not accommodate us in the restaurant but offered to change our reservation to the Brasserie, which is adjacent to the Resraurant but with a different menu, to which we agreed. When we arrived we were shown to our table and given two complementary glasses of champagne as a token for inconvenience caused. We chose from the 3-course set menu, the food was was very good, well presented and excellent value. However, when the bill arrived, it included a charge for our 'complementary' drinks. When we questioned this with the waiter, his reaction was quite accusatory and not what we might have expected. Having gone away to check, he came back with a corrected and accurate bill. This is the reason for the low score for service.

   We opted for the 5 course meal at £40 and there was a great deal to choose from. Staff were really helpful .

    A busy restaurant popular with people after work. Great atmosphere and spectacular views over the city. Well presented food and a great menu.
