Please check in at the Tankard Taverne How long can you rent a firepit for? 1 hour and 45 minutes How much does it cost? $15 per person up to six people plus tax and gratuity All fire pit rentals come with complementary bottles of water. Outside food and beverages are prohibited as per NYS law. For the safety of our guests and team members fire pits are subject to cancellation based on unfavorable weather conditions.     Loved having a real wood fire with service. Made for good conversation and ambiance. We made s’mores and had a great time. It was well worth it!

    Decided last Minute to book a fire pit. Matt was great and on top of keeping the fire tended too. Nate was our waiter and he was amazing! Will always be back again in a week!

    Lovely atmosphere, great views of the lake and very kind service. Unfortunately, some one needs to speak to the 'inspired' chef and his mediocre food. This is something that can be fixed.... until they do, it is not a good value for the money

    This was a fabulous and relaxing start to our weekend! We went at 6pm to try for a sunset. Our waitress was good, drinks good, and Jonesy (our fire manager) was great and took multiple photos of us enjoying. I was so surprised that there weren’t more people who booked!

    Our waitress was exceptional and food was very good. My wife had the burger with thick cut bacon and I had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Both were delicious. Fried pickles were a great appetizer and the horseradish sauce that accompanied it was superb. Ambience was excellent with a remarkable view of the lake. There was live music (acoustic guitar) which we enjoyed but that may not be your thing. Would recommend.

    Very cool experience. The fire pits were awesome, and the staff super friendly and took very good care of us. We made new friends from Connecticut and New York, which made the experience even better. The fireworks were spectacular, exceeding my expectations.

    I was pleasantly surprised of the quality and the taste of the food.. I had a chef’s special, which was a venison dish. It was perfect and a very healthy portion. The staff was very pleasant, and I really liked the bartender. My son and I both enjoyed our meal very much.

    The view , comfort, and service at fort William Henry FWH fire pits can't be beat. My family were there on July 4th with 500 people in front and 500 people behind us looking for fireworks and the fire pit service and view could not be better. Thank you FWH.

    Food was very good. Service not so much. Got our meals 1 hour and 45 min after ordering. 7 of 10 people got omelets and the waiter did not know which was which. We were trading plates to figure things out. Mandatory 20% Tip!

    Brunch at FWH was a 10/10 experience. My family and I sat in the White Lion dining room and had excellent views of the lake. I highly recommend their quiche and their home fries are the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Amanda even gave my mother and MIL flowers. She was attentive, kind and professional. Thank you for a great Mother’s Day Brunch!

    We enjoyed sitting by the fire and someone was always there making sure we didn't run out of wood. Our server was wonderful, friendly and very attentive. We were not overly impressed with the food we had but it wasn't bad.

    I honestly did not think this was worth the money. There were no carving stations. The desserts were the only thing that were worth anything at this Buffet. We ordered a bloody Mary that was absolutely disgusting and they didn’t take it off the bill. I honestly would tell people not to go here ever again I’m so sorry, but this was not good.

    My daughter and I had a wonderful experience, thank you so much! The buffet was perfect, Taylor, our server was great and the room looked beautiful. My only thought is perhaps some gluten free desserts. There was fruit, which is better for me anyway but with celiac, I couldn’t eat any of the yummy looking treats.

    Easter Brunch at Fort William Henry was nearly perfect. The chicken was unfortunately tough, but the ham and fish were delicious. The vegetables were very nice (with the exception of a couple of tough brussels sprouts!) And the breakfast foods were very tasty. The smoked salmon, although situated attractively, might have been a bit better -- I'd give the smoked salmon a B or a B+ -- not an A. I feel that a $49.00 price tag should have included coffee service, not a serve yourself at the coffee stand service. Nor did I appreciate a $3.00 charge for Pepsi. But it was nice to see Ft. Wm. Henry up and running for Easter Brunch and I will say that the brunch was much better than it was in a few years ago. The dessert table just inside the entrance was a lovely welcoming sight, and the dining room looked very inviting and attractive with a fresh flower in a vase on our table. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional which is half of it. No names to be mentioned of the famous island hotel in Bolton Landing but last year, they had a rather nasty staff, in my opinion, unfriendly and condescending -- but Ft. Wm. Henry's staff was terrific. I had surgery recently and had to use a cane and the manager arranged for us to sit near the doorway to provide easier access and less walking. How lovely! All in all, I'm willing to give Fort William Henry more of our business!

    We were disappointed because of the location. In the past, the Easter brunch was in the main hotel overlooking the lake. The room everyone was in had no windows and was just a basic cafeteria setting. I will not recommend the Easter brunch to anyone and will always ask in the future the location of an event.

    Marshmallows were stale, very cold out, man outside was very nice & asked for marshmallows to be taken off bill. Thought maybe it was just the marshmallows, go inside and eat at restaurant order a charcuterie board and the bread with butter is hard as a rock, cheese was the only thing fresh, the cold cuts looked like they were smooshed together for the sake of presentation. Soup was ordered and that was cold. Found really good restaurants across the street, had a great experience there.

    This is a racket for tourists. We accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day and called repeatedly to try and change it but the phone number provided was always off the hook. There’s no option to cancel online. We put in one day and the system automatically updated us to the next available day and we didn’t notice until after we submitted. Lost $25 for a simple mistake. DO NOT recommend!

    The Fort Willliam Henry restaurant, did not disappoint. The service was quick and efficient. The food was fantastic. Even the band playing was great , such a nice fun crowd.

    We loved the fire pit experience. Our waiter,Shea, was fantastic, and both he and Randy,the man who took care of the pit, were attentive and excellent. The entire staff was a pleasure from the moment we arrived. The tavern atmosphere and food were average, but the view more than made up for it. The reason for five stars, however, was the fantastic staff!

    Reserved one if their 6 fire pits. We had a great view of the fireworks, friendly staff member who tended to our fire, had a dedicated server for our drink and food orders. Totally worth it! Will definitely do again!
