Pizzeria
Fort George opened its doors to Astoria as both a brewery and a public house, and that desire to serve the community continues to this day. The brewers and pub staff here share a common goal, to create a welcoming space where anyone in town can pull up a stool and enjoy a pint and a bite to eat. We take pride in our house-made offerings and our hospitality, and we’re always looking for improvements that bring us one step closer to perfection. It’s a goal Sisyphus could appreciate, even if he doesn’t have as much fun pushing that rock as we do rolling those kegs. And that’s why we like to call Fort George beer the best beer you’ve had today. Tomorrow it will only be better.

We had a delicious lunch at Fort George Brewery. We chose the Carnivore pizza and it was so good! Some of our party enjoyed beer with the meal and even took a 6-pack to go. Our server was great!

Pretty limited menu at this time, food can sometimes be more spicy than expected. I have a very tender mouth due to cancer treatment (daily radiation for two months) in 2004 that makes even mildly spicy food uncomfortable to eat. I would not expect clam chowder to be "hot"... there's always has been. That and the price of the pizza's being vastly higher than one might expect would be my only complaint..

I helped the owners out with an early version of their website and absolutely love them and many of the staff and I would recommend their public house and wonderful beers to anyone!! Above comment is really a personal observation, my buddy finished my chowder and found it very delicious and not "hot" at all...

Very accommodating to our new puppy and older dog as we ventured out to eat with both the pups for the first time. Beer is always amazing and we loved the pesto cheese dip! We also got to watch the sunset from the top deck. It was a perfect evening

Great Wood-Fired Pizzas. The Gluten Free Crust is about the best on the planet!!

Great brews. I love doing a taster and picking something new to try. Thanks for being open and for the extra effort to keep us safe!

My wife and I make a point to visit Fort George every summer when we travel to Astoria from Yakima, WA. It is our absolute favorite place in the PNW to enjoy a meal. Their pizza is always outstanding and you can’t go wrong with any of their beer. We love their 3-Way IPA and Suicide Squeeze IPA. Nothing beats the atmosphere overlooking the Columbia from one of their window tables, and we’ve never had poor service.

This place is always great however this trip the waitress seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. Maybe it’s just because of the covid measures or maybe she was having a bad day. I’ll still go back as it’s always a fun time being in Astoria.

I had a phenomenal experience at Fort George with my parents! The beers were delicious and our pizza was too. We were a bit disappointed that they only were serving pizza. Our server was very helpful and punctual! 10/10 recommend

Out of multiple ingredients, limited menu, and was sold a pizza without being informed that there were missing toppings.

To make up for it the server tried to comp drinks, I had a water... with no ice. (They didn't have ice.)

What a view and what a fabulous place to safely socially gather with a friend. Tables weren't close at all and felt comfortable being next to an open window and away from other guests. Anything on the menu is good, try burger night, great stuff.

Going to my favorite brewery while eliminating gluten and dairy for the first time, I didn’t know what to expect. There were plenty of menu options for me while I got to spend time with friends and not feel like I was missing out (even though I still miss a delicious vortex IPA on a hot day). The reservations made for a smooth experience. There is no air conditioning, but still felt very comfortable and breezy even on a hot day. Highly recommend!

Would have been good but we were constantly reminded we had to leave at a certain time. We came to enjoy beers and atmosphere, we wanted to spend a few hours. I cant say I will return under this new rigid system. It was not a comfortable experience

If you love delicious food and even more delicious beer in a creative and beautiful space, the you can't go wrong with Fort George. They've changed the table layout to allow for more space between groups so it's one of the few places I felt comfortable dining inside.
