Food was outstanding. The only complain was we were sitting by the door and the cold air was blowing in. We had to wear our coats while eating. Service was also very good!

This is a neighborhood gem! Service is wonderful and the food is fantastic. Bolo night on Tuesdays is a great deal on the best bolognese in town. I'll be thinking about the mushroom risotto and the cauliflower au gratin sides until my next visit.

Very nice service, smaller portion than usual Italian restaurant. Delicious eggplant parmigiana and minestrone soup. The focaccia bread basket was served cold or room temperature and without any oil on the side or butter (slightly disappointing) but the server was super nice and busy and I didn’t want to bother him. Overall nice very quaint place. Very crowded where people kept bumping on my chair to get by.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I know I gave it more of a 4/5, but the food is amazing. I really wish that when you made a reservation online or on the phone you could reserve the bar sitting. Right now it only allows you to just make a table reservation. The bar is much more intimate than sitting at the tables. The tables are a bit cramped, your table "neighbors" are almost of top of you and I think it is also hard for the wait staff to move around. But the food is damn good!!

We love this place and eat here almost weekly. Sat at the counter this time, which is so much fun watching the amazing staff make drinks or pizzas. Bolognese on Tuesday is the best deal in town!

Best pizza in Cincinnati for me. My friend chose the Tuesday Bolognese special which is a great value meal weekly. Service and meals were great. Only complaint here might be that the tables are quite close together again and the chairs, rather uncomfortable. I'll be back for an outside table because I love the food.

We dine at Forno fairly regularly because the food is delicious and we like the atmosphere. Last night after an uncharacteristically underwhelming experience during which our pizza and pasta were served room-temperature and our server seemed unbothered, we packed our dishes and headed home to warm them up there. Before we even pulled out of our parking space, the manager, Ashley, was on the phone insisting on making things right. We were so impressed with her care and professionalism. Sometimes one bad meal turns a favorite restaurant into a no-go, but we will have no hesitation returning to Forno promptly.

There was no parking within 2 blocks in all directions so we parked illegally at a business across the street. Tables very crowded and close to each other so my husband’s chair got bumped by everyone who passed. That being said, the food was very flavorful and the red house wine really good. We took a chance and tried something new- Tripe Venetian style(?). It was delicious. The Porkchop, bone in, Milanese, was tender and flavorful as was the Tuesday special of pasta Bolognese.

Definitely do not recommend this as a Saturday night dining experience with friends unless you want to spend 3.5 hours here. Severely understaffed, very slow. Great food but not worth the 30 min wait from reservation time with nowhere in restaurant to wait and another 30 min from when we finished our meal to get the check.

We went for our 3 year anniversary and it was amazing!! THE FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR - both of us enjoyed our meals. I got the Spaghetti and my bf got the short rib. We both got sides to try - the the risotto and truffle corn. THE CORN WAS AMAZING- the risotto was so good to but i cannot recommended the corn more. (definitely could be shared with the whole table) our waitress was awesome and they gave us our dessert for free as a anniversary gift. Absolutely amazing time with forno and will definitely be going back!!

The food was as expected. Although I felt some of the pricing was greater than expected ($12 for a relatively small Caesar salad) Eggplant appetizer was a bit oily. Waitstaff was very attentive. Tables are very close together increasing noise level as the place began to fill.

My boyfriend and I went to Forno to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It was a limited menu and I had to prepay when I made the reservation. The food was disappointingly not good. My boyfriend usually “licks the plate clean” and is not hard to impress, but he left quite a bit of his meal. I thought it tasted like food at an all-you-can eat smorgasbord. The servings were also small. I have been to the Montgomery location before and I loved it. I had hoped that it would be an amazing dinner experience, however I’m sad to say it was a big letdown and a waste of money.

Service was very good. Came here for Valentine’s Day. My one major complaint was the spacing of the seating. My date and I were so close to the table next of us, we had no privacy and our conversation overlapped with the couple next to us. It almost became awkward where neither table wanted to talk because we could overhear each other’s conversation. Servers had difficulty navigating the sea of tables and would often bump into the guests (to no fault of their own).
