   Delicious food. Need to pay meter for street parking. Server was polite but 3 times said that our table had another reservation pending and we felt rushed to finish and leave. Server did not even offer dessert menu.

   Pizza was not cooked all the way through Gnudi was mushy Sat by front door which slammed shut every time someone walked in We have frequented Forno often in the past but hadn't been there in a year. Very disappointed

   Great food, well-staffed front of house but no oversight or efficiency. Waiter checked in on us once or twice, but our glasses were always empty and we couldn’t find anyone to clear or dishes/bring us the check for 20-25 minutes…the ENTIRE staff was more focused on drying glasses at the bar than attending to customers. Again, amazing food, but be prepared for a long dinner and lots of waiting

   Parking is an issue, need to get permission from Remax next door for additional parking when they are not open. Drinks are too expensive, food is good, but entree portions were pretty small at least with the Italian dishes we had. Service was fine and the atmosphere is decent. Having said that, I don’t believe the experience was worth what I paid for it and won’t rush back anytime soon.

    Mother’s Day brunch reservation, wound up being a buffet only. Food was ok, 40$ a plate seemed very expensive for what was served. Service was also not fantastic took forever to get drinks, ordered a 10$ coffee that was served cold. Overall it was a disappointment.

    I’ve been to Forno many times and I’ve always enjoyed the wood fired pizza, the Bolognese or the short ribs. I highly recommend anyone to make this their go to restaurant.

    We had an excellent dinner sitting outside next to the beautiful flowers. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We both had the angel hair arrabiatta and it was very good.

    When we arrived they seemed a little unprepared for us so we stood up front for a good five minutes or so waiting to be seated. We were then sat directly behind where we had been waiting, right in the entryway of the building. Throughout the begining of the night people were crowding there and chatting. The food service and staff was excellent. Everything we ordered came out with good timing and perfect temperatures. Our server was able to answer all of our questions about specific dishes and wines which was very helpful in deciding each course for the night. She helped us box our leftovers and got us a bag as well. The only other downside is that I did note we were celebrating a birthday for my boyfriend and it was never brought up while we were there although I did see another table recieving a birthday desserts with candles. I do think we will be back, but I know now to request seating further from the door

    Pizza was just like in Italy! Octopus is as to die for! Highly recommend this spot. Our server was also very attentive.

    I went for Bolo night and everything we had was great, with the exception of the veal meatball that I added to my Bolo. It was extremely over-baked and dry and seemed pretty small for a $4 meatball (size of a golf ball).

    Was our first time here for all 4 of us! We had an earlier reservation and we're pleasantly surprised that it was relatively not busy when we were there. Food was phenomenal and the features of lamb, shrimp and grits and the pasta were delightful. The rice pudding parfaits were absolutely delicious and had us contemplating 3rds. We will definitely be back to check out this place during normal business and see what it is about! Our first tastes were incredible!

    We have eaten here for years. Love the food and usually the atmosphere and service. But not this time. We were seated close to others and then basically left. Sweet waitress who came and took drink orders, but then it took 20 minutes to get simple drinks, beer and easy V&T, and she passed us 3 times before checking to see if we wanted to order meal and let us know drinks would be soon. Lots of staff working so not sure why delay at bar or waitress not attentive. When main course came, it was almost 5 minutes before waitress stopped to check and offer grated cheese, then meal was half gone before the cheese arrived and we weren’t rushing! Never have we felt this way at Forno! Thankfully the food was as amazing as ever or we would not return! Definitely a management issue. This place used to run much smoother! Table next to us also had similar issues.

    Still superb. Tripe was enjoyed by those who like that sort of thing. Quattro staggioni pizza was excellent. Bolognese special was wonderful as always. A rea neighborhood gem.

    Everything started out as normal and service was great, and then some people received pasta dishes as first plates, while others received together with their main dish. One pasta that came with their entrée had an incorrect sauce, and by the time it was redone and brought back it was over 30 minutes later.

    This is the second time we have been to the Hyde Park location. As amazing as the food is, the lack of customer service and unwelcome vibe from the workers make this the last time we will come here. Same quality of food - go to Montgomery location or Nicola’s instead.

    We've been to Forno before and had a good experience. Unfortunately this time it was quite uncomfortable. Food and service was good but the tables are so close together we couldn't have a conversation it was so loud. We heard every word from our neighboring tables it was awful. The poor wait staff had to squeeze between the tables to serve everyone ~ meaning the waitresses rear end was constantly face level. (Not their fault!) Sadly we won't be back. We did enjoy the food. 😔

    This was a great non-occasion date night restaurant. Atmosphere was nice (though tables are crammed together and you feel like you're on a date woth the couples on either side of you). Food was very enjoyable (but you wont dream about it). Prices were moderate. I think the price of the fish was a bit much for what it was, but it was good and prob not out of line. We won't hesitate to come back, but we'll prob try some of the other similar restaurants first to see which we like most.
