All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Forli. Restaurant was completely full and short staffed, we were seated in the back room. Despite being short waiters the service was quite good.

By far the best Italian in the 9 county Bay Area and we've been to all of them. Freshest of ingredients, meat, fish, produce etc. wonderfully prepared and plated. Great service and atmosphere. Special place................

Food is always fabulous at Forli's! They were very busy on our recent visit and the service was not great. We have been to Forli's many times and usually the service is excellent so maybe just an off night. Great neighborhood yet semi-upscale vibe. Love it!

Had 10 people here for a birthday dinner ON Valentines Day....and even though when we walked in the front door we learned that their internet had been down for several hours, meaning they had no Wi-Fi, no computers and no music in the restaurant, it was an amazing dining experience for our entire group! Started with 2 appetizers; the octopus and the beef carpaccio...both amazing, especially the way the octopus is served, as they use a mandolin to thinly slice the octopus to cover the entire plate, so it is very fresh and not rubbery at all! Then we all had a different entree and they were all fantastic! It really was hard to say that any one entree was the best...they were all great! We spilled a drink at our table and they cleaned it up in a jiffy and brought a new drink out for no charge, even though it was us who spilled it! And they brought out our son’s birthday cake and even offered to slice and serve it for us, even though we decided to take it home with us. Overall, just an amazing night, also enhanced by seeing the owner work the entire restaurant to make sure everyone was being taken care of! Can’t wait to go back!

Went for Valentine’s Day.Not a good dinner event. Service was BAD ! Took waiter 3o mins just to take our order, food came out fast enough and was ok then had to ask 3 times for a glass of wine. Decided not to order dessert since we figured it would take to long, then waited another 30 mins for our bill...it was a 2 plus hour dinner. But the worst part was seeing our waiter walk around and talk to everybody that he knew, but ignore the people he didn’t know. We will not be back, and I’m sure we weren’t the only people that felt that way.
