We love the ambiance and the menu here. The steak and eggs, chorizo scramble, and the cheese omelette did not disappoint. The burger was asked for medium and it was very rare. Our service could have been better. Very slow to take order. Kept having to ask for coffee refills. Salt was asked about, but then never brought. Service is usually very good here and kinda what you pay for. It was also a Birthday brunch and they did nothing but acknowledge by saying Happy Birthday.
The service was outstanding. Polite and patient with all great options offered and catered to your liking. Food was outstanding.
The food was exquisite, as always, and I love the new menu
A cozy environment that was just right for a warm conversation. Each plate we enjoyed was beautiful displayed and tasted just as lovely. It made for a perfect evening.
The venison was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Pricey but absolutely worth spoiling yourself :-P
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.
Dinner for four has been disappointing. Uninspiring and confusing new menu. Average dishes. Decent service. Music much too loud.
Service was friendly and great. Food was a bit disappointing. Breakfast steak was grisly. Pancake was okay, but wasn’t expecting one huge, plate-sized pancake. Mimosas were generous. Coffee was very good.
Service was extremely slow. Sunday lunch. Did not take our food order for 35 minutes. Had to ask for drink refills and the check. Food was good but with so many great restaurant in Philadelphia, this will not be a repeat.
Wow. Absolutely stunning service. Great ambiance. And the food was amazing. Sorry for not being more verbose, lol, but they simply nailed it!!! :)
We savored everything, start to finish, with excellent wine pairings, including a white port for dessert. I’d repeat the experience in a moment.
Our friends birthday Sunday brunch our server put a candle in the pastry great service and food thank you fork
Fork is a great spot for Sunday brunch. Excellent menu variety and great spin on popular dishes. Definitely will go back.
Excellent service! Our waiter was a true professional and a very nice touch to our delicious meal. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Lovely brunch experience with friends. Great service and coffee. Chicken sausage scramble was so interesting and delicious.
The appetizers were ok. The duck entree was really overcooked and dry. The service changed mid dinner and the original waitress never even said anything. The second waitress had very little to do but was not around to do it.
The goat cheese app, monkfish, and wagyu were superb! Wonderful service
This is a wonderful place for a joyful, celebratory meal. We love the new chef's menu. Service is always terrific!
Still a Philadelphia staple, food and service unmatched.
I would only recommend Fork to a friend if they where very knowledgeable in food.
The menu was hard for me to understand, and we have dined out enough, but theres always room for improvement.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious from the duck confit to the cumin ginger carrots to the Bleu cheese ice cream. Can't wait to go back.
The ambiance well outpaced everything else.
This was my 3rd visit to Fork. I was underwhelmed this time. Food was good but not sure it was worth the price.
Fork continues to impress with really creative and delicious food and excellent friendly service. Every dish I tried was interesting and well executed, my favorites were the tempura mushrooms, and surprisingly, the red sasso chicken -- it's a feat to make chicken interesting!! Order lots of dishes and share with your friends so you can try everything!!
Very warm staff and wonderful place with a neighborhood vibe - we had a small issue with an entree and owner stopped by and chatted - a delightful time
Have been an enthusiastic customer at Fork since they opened. I love Ellen Yin’s acumen as everyone she hires is a step up. Until now. Totally unimpressed with the new chef. Don’t think he embraces the true spirit that Fork has embodied for 20 years. I will eat elsewhere until this chef moves on and hopefully the next one goes back to the “old” Fork. My humble opinion only
Our server was incredibly engaging and extremely knowledgeable of Fork and the special Christmas Eve dinner menu. She has her Masters in archeology from Hopkins so we had some fascinating discussions re: travel and life. The Seven Fishes meal was outstanding and we added a special beef side which was to die for. Each course was delicious and beautifully matched with a vegetable and/or sauce and seasoning. We have traveled the world and eaten in some of its best restaurants and this meal is definitely in the top 10. We suggested to our server that she recommend to the new chef that he should consider a similar menu at least once a month-we would surely be there and bring friends. Kudos to Chef and staff-made our Christmas Eve meal one to remember forever-until next year when we will definitely return, if not sooner for similar fare!
My husband and I visited Fork for Sunday morning brunch based on recommendations from acquaintances. The ambiance was top notch and the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. I felt the food was a bit overpriced ($17 for a small smoked salmon salad of bagged greens, ribbons of carrots and cucumber, one egg, with a dill dressing was excessive) but at least it was good food. I would go back and try lunch or dinner, but probably won't do brunch there again.
Family gathering - we loved it all
The service was truly outstanding and our food was delicious! I would highly recommend Fork!
The food was outstanding and the staff was attentive and courteous.
Always outstanding. We were a bit concerned that with a new chef, we might not be as happy with Fork. Every bite of our dinner was a delight. Our server was terrific, advising us of ingredients of each dish.
Great food, great service. Warm and friendly. I can't believe it took us so long to come here.
It was our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at Fork with Seven Fishes menu. Great food and great atmosphere. And Ellen is a fantastic host
Horrible food. Barely edible
Made us wait 10-15 minutes to be seated with a reservation, without even being busy! The food/coffee was good but the "Brunch for table" was barely enough for two people. Left kind of hungry. Not worth the value!
Service excellent. Food good but a very limited menu. Much much too noisy. The conversations were enough noise did not need the music in the background.
Service by wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly and timely. All offerings were chi-chi eclectic. Every single one. Top to menu bottom. A willingness to offer a few “traditional” fine dinging options as well as the nouveau would make me willing to return. If not, my Philly restaurant dollars will be invested at other top-rated establishments where I have the freedom to exercise my taste bud’s selections, not the chef’s.
Everything here was imaginative, perfectly executed, and delicious, except my champagne cocktail. Everyone should be allowed one fault, though.
Every course was perfect.
