Our group loved the lively Saturday night ambience. Service was first rate with our waiter answering all questions about the preparation of certain dishes. And the food was outstanding! Loved the monkfish and the burger.

Fork is one of my all time favorite Philadelphia restaurants. We had 2 pups with us and so sat outside. It was very comfortable warm and cozy in our own little section. Our server was very kind and attentive. And food as always was absolutely wonderful!

We ate outside which was nice but less romantic than the lovely indoors. The food is outstanding & the service is friendly & thoughtful. Glad we came for my spouse’s birthday!
I usually love Fork but this experience was disappointing. I ordered sparkling wine and received a glass of what I guess was flat, opened-for-days sparkling wine. I also asked for the eggs benedict but with my eggs poached hard (a request I've made many times before at many other restaurants). Our waitress lectured me on how she couldn't do that, which I found less than ideal. I ended up just saying whatever since I did not want to argue with her.
Overall everyone at our table found the food somewhat lacking -- french toast too sweet, my eggs too runny, the chickory much too bitter (and spritzed with straight lemon juice, too??). Like I said, I've been to Fork several times before and always had a five star meal. I'm not sure I'll be back after this latest experience.
An absolute treat, we loved the fresh brioche bread, the salads, the polenta, and the coconut lime custard, and we can't wait to come back and try everything else! Thanks for all the wonderful vegetarian options.
Ambiance was great and we love the open kitchen. First course of grilled octopus and squash soup were both tasty. Octopus wasn't over done and the soup was very nice. The added chopped cilantro, however, was a turnoff, and seemed out of place.
Mains of charred skin striped bass, and monkfish with sauce àmericaine, buttered leeks and seasonal vegetables. This is where things went off. The bass was served skin side up, but the skin wasn't close to properly seared for that presentation, making the skin inedible. The mole sauce, however, gave a lot of great flavor.
The monkfish was tender, but both the leeks and other vegetables were lukewarm at best. More glaring, the sauce (in the form of a foam, not a true sauce) was made with lobster. I asked about the sauce when I first ordered, so I knew it had shellfish, but others who have severe reactions to shellfish could have issues.
Dessert was a chocolate mouse with pomegranate and granola crumble that was outstanding. A great way to end the otherwise uneven meal.
the restaurant shouldn’t have had poorly heated outdoor tables on a cold and windy night. better to turn away customers than to provide a poor experience. went with great expectations - disappointing. food was excellent but the cold did the food no credit - the lobster foam on the monkfish was cold by the time we could eat it. i am sure the experience inside would’ve been a whole different ball game - so read this more as a review of the outside seating which is a second class experience jn what looks like a first class restaurant.
Great experience overall. Cool space/vibe. A special hand cut bone in ribeye priced at $160 is a bit steep, even in this time of supply chain scarcity. Thankful to my server for pointing out the price beforehand! Would definitely return.
The server didn't provide a spoon and sugar/sweetener for our coffees, which he got wrong to begin with. I ordered an espresso but received a cappuchino. (spelling?)
I then had to stand up and waive my card so that we could leave. There were at least 12 people working there at the time. We were the only customers at the time.
Maybe we picked the wrong time to make a reservation. 3:30 Brunch.
A treat to be back at Fork for a lovely lunch - indoors after so many months. We both had the kuri squash soup (delicious) and the Spanish mackerel crudo hakuri turnips, orange, seeds and spicy aioli (also delicious). Excellent service, pleasant ambience.
Food was way overpriced. 45oz steak at $4oz. With some finger potatoes!!!

Food was just ok for the price. Menu very limited and not flexible, i.e., a single person can’t get a steak. There are only enormous steaks for 2 people to share. Burgers are two skinny patties, not one thick one that you might have a hope of ordering rare. The duck was fatty and soggy, almost inedible, but the duck sausage was good. Brioche with smoked butter was delicious, but $8 for one small brioche with no offer of house bread for the table despite the affiliation with High Street and their delicious bread seemed ungenerous. Outdoor seating was ok, but raucous music from the outdoor speaker was unpleasant. Fork needs to decide what it’s identity is - if it’s fine dining, the menu needs to be friendlier abd the ambience more elegant to justify the price.
The portions are a bit meager. The bowl of soup is $12 but it should be called a cup and served in one because the portion was so small.
Same with the polenta dish. Luckily I wasn’t very hungry it was about a half cup of cooked polenta with a s poached egg on top..
Very lively place. Our waiter was amazing! We would highly recommend the seared octopus. Also, the monkfish was very good although we felt the portion was on the small side. The duck breast and sausage dish was excellently prepared.
Four entrees ( monkfish, duck breast, sausage, burger) were too salty to enjoy . Outside sitting was too cold. We didn't get any acknowledgement about our celebration from the staff.
Excellent food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The outdoor dining area was charming.
We sat outside and sipped sparkling wine and enjoyed a constant parade of young people dressed in their Fall fashion, while nice music softened traffic noise. The food arrived and was beautiful to look at and just as delicious. It was a pleasant late lunch on one of our last sunny weekends.
Everything we ate was wonderful. The service was great even given the fact that we were eating outside. Everything was subtly unexpected. In particular my duck dish was spectacular.
Had a nice lunch following the Van Gogh Immersion. Nice bottle of cab franc-Malbec. The squash soup was very tasty but the portion was on the smaller side. The burger and fish sandwiches were filling and the polenta dish was good, however the turnip and cabbage dish was more of a started than an entree. The olive oil cake and coconut custard were very good desserts.

As usual Fork was phenomenal. From the wine to the food it exceeded expectations.
Too much hype, not enough oomph. Cocktails selection and cocktails itself were terrible for brunch
Delicious food and great service in a very stylish environment
It is rare for even the better restaurants to operate without mis-steps, but Fork is unusual in that regard. Service was delightful, and the courses were well-spaced, the dishes well-thought, prepared and plated. Often one course outshines the others (e.g. apps versus entree, or dessert), but all courses were equally good here. A fun and delightful time, we enjoyed it. While we did buy one of their better bottles, if I had any suggestion it would be for a better wine list.
Interesting use of hard to come by vegetables but the combination, the presentation, the dressing and sauces, just didn't work. The chocolate dessert was the best part of the dinner but wouldn't go back again.

They add 20 per cent gratuity to every check which is understandable. They write that on the menu. So try to remind yourself they do that because if you don’t , odds are they won’t and you will find you have tipped 20 percent or more on top of twenty percent. It then adds a bad taste in your mouth and creates a disappointing experience when if you remember In hindsight your failure to remember their tipping mandate. The ownership was very conciliatory when the circumstance was later brought to their intention indicating restaurant protocols were not followed in this instance . Too bad bc it is a highly regarded restaurant in which you would not expect this kind of “ lapse “. But rule number one still applies , buyer beware.
