Great brunch with exceptionally fresh produce and breads, which makes all the difference. We had a wonderful seasonal pea soup, beets and farm salad, soft shell crab sandwich and polenta. Interesting menu that is not your average brunch fare. Yum!
Amazing food- even better service. Janey took great care of us. Can’t wait to return.
A nice lunch spot for us; nice vibe. Was expecting great taste for their soft crab sandwich, but it was pretty bland, and not worth the $28.
Always an fun and positive experience. Great time with old friends.
My first time with clients.
Met expectations based upon reviewers
Laid back/very casual atmosphere.
Food was very good while the menu was perhaps a bit limited. But overall yes.
Im sure they were probably not running at full speed under post pandemic operating rules so expect things will only get better!
This was a business lunch. The service was good and the food even better. It was four for lunch. Two ordered the skate sandwich and the other two order the farm salad. Everything was really delicious. The food here is consistently good and the atmosphere is always pleasing.
SN - There is a warm cheese appetizer which had some type of veg ash which made it vibrant and pleasing to the eye. The flavor of the warm goat cheese played off the sliced bread with pepitas and jam. I want to return just for this app, it is a must try!!!
Still exceptional in every way. Fork must be on your list for Philadelphia.
Incredible food. World class.
We were so thrilled to be back at Fork’s bar. It’s one of our favorite places to enjoy a cocktail and a lovely dinner. Everything was delicious.
Fried rice was extremely salty and inedible. Short ribs were awful, full of fat and tendons and no meat. Short ribs took over 90 min (we were aware it would take 1 hour but 90 min was way too long, restaurant acknowledged it was late)
Great ambiance and service. The menu was great for the summer/spring brunch. Plan to recommend to others.
Great service, amazing food! Can’t go wrong here, highly recommend
Server was attentive and friendly.
We really enjoyed our dinner at fork. The entrees are unique and delicious. Cocktails are fabulous too!
Was really looking forward to this place but very let down. Food was not great. I would not recommend.
The food and the service were excellent. The music was too loud.
Great meal! Everything was excellent. And sitting outside was lovely. Great service. Great drinks, a really wonderful night all around.
The food was wonderful, the servers were knowledgeable and helpful, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Highy recommend.
Loved it! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely coming back
Dined here for the first time during Restaurant Week for dinner and it was definitely a great experience! The food was delicious but very different. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection! The staff was the absolute best from the hostess to the manager down to our wonderful waiter, Corey. Everyone was extremely polite and paid close attention to every detail. Looking forward to returning for dinner again.
We were visiting Philly for four nights and this was the best meal we had the whole time. Brilliant flavors. Loved every bite. The rib eye was amazing.
It's a great date night spot. Went here for Center City Restaurant and enjoyed the experience. The food was very good and I would come back.
I Expected to be wowed but the food was rather plain in Comparison to other restaurant week restaurant. I was more disappointed by the fact that they took the hamburger off the menu. I was told that was the best item offered. Then they ran out of coconut dessert
The hostess that met us to be seated was a little short with my husband so we were skeptical right off the bat. I didn’t look at the menu beforehand, which I regret because I usually do, and it was very limited. Another menu issue was that 3 of the 6 entree offerings were for 2 and we were told would all take 45-60 minutes so don’t come starving and be prepared to wait. Also, there were no specials. That cut our options in half. Whether this is a normal menu, or a ‘coming back from Covid’ menu, we didn’t ask, so we opted for the focaccia appetizer and the grilled octopus platter. I shared the bread with my husband and daughter and the octopus with my husband. My daughter chose not to eat anything else because she didn’t like the options. That being said, both dishes were amazing! Best octopus I’ve ever had. I also had two of the cocktails and they were also delicious. All in all, the experience was fine because the food was great and our servers were excellent. Just wish they had more to offer. Sorry, but we won’t be going back any time soon and I didn’t take pictures.
The food was delicious and interesting, and the setting was the perfect backdrop for an outstanding meal.
Our first post pandemic return to Fork showed a resilient kitchen and staff, still putting out amazing flavors and delicious food. We ate outdoors, and were accommodated in every way possible. We can’t wait for things to open up further, and we will be returning soon.
Great ingredients, adult flavors, and excellent wines by the glass. Service is friendly and professional making Fork a great value.
We took advantage of a Restaurant Week deal to try Fork and we were delighted in every way. The menu selections were interesting, the food was great, and it was wonderful to be back out in public seeing people on the streets. We sat in the outdoor "hut" which was a bit close to the bus lane, but it was actually quite pleasant. So glad we took the plunge.
This was my first time out since Covid. It was amazing. I love Restaurant Week and they did not disappoint. Our waiter was great and the food was awesome. I am pescatarian and they had plenty of options. Go enjoy!
The food was incredible and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic date night. I would highly highly recommend and will be back.
Despite a limited menu due to restaurant week, the food was excellent
I’ve been to Fork over a dozen times through years. Went out for first restaurant week in over a year. Yes doing Fork on the cheap last night. No restaurant week menu offered. Disappointed went online this morning and still not sure why it wasn’t offered as menu was posted and it’s what we bought but no restaurant week?!? Not sure what happened. Service and food excellent as always just don’t expect restaurant week. Maybe someone will comment what happened
The food was delicious & our server was extremely attentive & efficient. My only complaint is when we sat down the server gave us the menu & I asked him for the Restaurant Week Menu & he told us there is none. We made the reservations there because it was Restaurant Week. Do not advertise that you have a Restaurant Menu when you do not. It was an awful situation & we were very disappointed. At 6:30pm on our anniversary we were not about to get up & start looking for another restaurant that was observing Restaurant Week. It cost us more $$ than Restaurant Week menu would have cost. Please take Fork off of Open Table Restaurant Week.
Outstanding food. Very unique flavors are blended together surprisingly well. A very thoughtful menu. The service was phenomenal, as well as the entire experience. I highly recommend the goat cheese & fig jam appetizer. It’s to die for! One of my favorite Philly restaurants.
We made the reservation for Monday (5/17) for "Philly Restaurant Week" and was told upon arriving that they were not participating until Wednesday. I was very disappointed as this was the first time I was partaking in PRW. I also talked my two sisters into going with me, so I was embarrassed.
I do want to clarify that the hostess was apologetic and found us a nice table outside. But the menu was very unenticing and we left.
I picked to eat here because it was a small neighborhood restaurant but it was so awesome there was nothing small about it!
Food was a bit lackluster this time, which is unusual. Coffee at brunch was actually undrinkable. Fork is usually much better.
