by far one of the best meals we've had in Chicago in a long time. (duck confit club & the salmon with lentils). beer flights by categories which paired nicely with our food. I think what put our experience over-the-top was how outstanding and friendly the staff was during our visit. even as the restaurant began to fill and a good crowd was clearly waiting for tables our server never made us feel rushed even taking the time to not only recommend dessert but to describe each dessert so fully that we simply HAD to order two different ones and share cause we just couldn't settle for one. We will defiantly be back and will defiantly, DEFIANTLY be recommending FORK to our friends.
We had the best service. Will definitely be back!
Overall, the food was great. The crab cakes dish was dry and needed a more flavorful sauce.
The food preparation was mediocre. The only decent dish was the whole trout. Burger was mediocre. Service OK.
The charcuterie was wonderful but entrees and sandwiches just ok (chicken dry, duck club greasy)
We went for the Easter brunch buffet, very good. We love the buffet. My favorite is chicken & waffles, chilaquiles w/chorizo, and bagels & lox! The beer is always good and the service is always good. A cornerstone restaurant for the neighborhood.
Attending the Easter brunch at Fork with family. Great buffet and service. A little on the noisy side as it was a busy day, but overall very satisfied with the meal and experience. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles.
Easter Brunch Magnificent. Both food and service above board. Nice price also!
Uncomfortably large booth makes for awkward conversation. Mussels were small. Server nice, but cleared table and drinks prematurely. Duck sandwich inedible. Burger O.K.
It was a fun and lively atmosphere! Food was really good, albeit a little overpriced. Great service though!
Nice brunch selection. Great, attentive service. Will be back.
Try the new carrot cake; you will not be disappointed.
Great service and the booths are very conducive to conversation and semi private dining.
We went for chicken and waffles. They ran out of white chicken. I asked if I was going to get chicken to compensate and they said onky two pieces of dark. Explaining that the white meat is 80% of the chicken they said I would still only get two tiny pieces of dark meat.
If your claim to fame is chicken and waffles. Don't run out of chicken!
Pleasantly surprised. Great neighborhood spot.
Incredible food and great service. Perfect for dining before a concert at The Old Town School of Folk Music a block away.
We had dinner at Fork before a show at Old Town School of Folk Music. We made a reservation for four as we were going there with friends. Their daughter and her boyfriend and joined us for drinks before we went our separate ways. Fork staff was very accommodating of our very last minute request. Our server was knowledgable and made recommendations for wine and an appetizer - his suggestion was right on!
Great food, friendly and efficient servers, fun atmosphere! We especially enjoy the chicken and waffles at brunch!
A very pleasant place to gather with your friends. Excellent service, menu is optimal. One of the best places on Lincoln Avenue!
Tasty brunch. Service was great. Kid friendly. Ambience is okay, but probably nicer than most other LSquare joints.
Delicious share plates and fun wine flights
Front of the house wasn’t welcoming. Food was good.
A neighbor favorite. New menu items appear frequently and many days have special items featured.
Great experience and awesome waiter food was great
We arrived 30 minutes early for our 7:30 reservation. We found seats at the bar, ordered appetizer and drinks. I received a text message as promised when they were ready to seat us right on time at 7:30. Service was friendly and prompt, food was varied and very good. I recommend Fork.
Exciting new menu items joined my already favorites!
Loved going to Fork. The food was great, although disappointed that they ran out of some specialty items... Its a great place to gather with friends.
Reservation was at 8:15 for a table for four on a Saturday. We received our first drink at 9:15. Nuff said.
Our first time at Fork. Terrific, attentive service. Thoughtful menu of cheeses, charcuteries, craft beers and wines for any taste. A great Saturday night spot. Ask for a booth in the Bar.
I would've given 2.5 stars. This place had really gone down hill.
Great! Wish people hadn't brought their kids for the Valentine's Day, but fork couldn't help that
The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Food was great!
Bad coffee ...
We went after a late afternoon concert nearby. There were great healthy choices like the beet salad and the roasted cauliflower. The cheese selection was great with plenty of sheep and goat cheeses for me to choose from. My wife liked the charcuterie choices. The staff was friendly and attentive and the seating was very comfortable.
Great food and service! “Highend” service/ quality at more affordable prices!
My favorite neighborhood brunch place. Great quiche, hashes and smoke salmon. Top-notch staff including great bartender and management. Highly recommend.
We came for brunch, got the chicken and waffles and hangover helper. Everything was delicious. The decor is a little dark and dated.
Very nice, first time dining. I would come back again.
The food was great, the service was absolutely awful. Our server never came back to check on us, it was impossible to flag him down when we wanted to order dessert or get our bill.
Our server did not tell us up front which items they were out of for the evening.
While the service we were provided was fantastic and the drink menu is extensive, the food menu is quite limited.
