There are other restaurants in Boise that offer better food. Fork’s decor was nice and the service was great. The food was just alright.

Friendly staff from beginning to end. My server Adam was everything! It was my first visit to Fork. The rainbow trout and Malbec wine was impeccable. I would definitely return. I give it two thumbs up!

It was our first time at the Fork and we really enjoyed our experience. We are gluten free and the GF dishes were spectacular. Good beer and wine selection, excellent service.

Table was waiting when we arrived. Staff was very familiar with menu and bar drinks. Didn’t try to make us leave when we were done eating. Allowed us to socialize with our guests. On the expensive side for a dinner for two. Everything tasted great from the appetizers to the main course and even the desert. Nice to see a restaurant using local farmers.

We’ve had dinner at Fork multiple times before and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. This time was no exception, the food was delicious. However, our service was quite terrible. We were celebrating my brother being in town and our server made us feel like an inconvenience and as if he didn’t have time for us. We actually love the dessert especially the butter cake but we decided not to order because we had rather go somewhere else.

Great service and food, and our table for two was perfect! My filet mignon was one of the best that I've had, perfect balance between tender and mouth feel, and cooked (medium rare) to perfection ... challenging with such a nice thick filet. I was impressed! My wife said her king salmon was a little on the small side though, but then again, we're from Alaska where we are used to getting all the salmon we want? Our appetizer choice was the roast brussel sprouts, and noting that I am NOT a 'brussel sprouts person', these were GOOD! It was the first time that I ever liked the little buggers! In any case, we came away with a great impression about The Fork and will definitely be back, and will recommend them to others as well!

We decided to try Fork during our one-night stay in Boise after we read they get a lot of their food from local sources. The restaurant was a very pleasant place to eat, the waiter and hostess were both very kind, and the food was delicious! My husband loved his burger and we both were happy we splurged and got the butter cake for dessert! We really enjoyed our dining experience there and would love to come back again. The only thing I would like to see is a few more vegetarian options on the menu.

My wife and I Love fork! The food is always fresh and deliciously made. Our waiter was very attentive and eager to create a positive experience for us. The other thing we love about Fork is the cocktail selection.

For a night away from the young-in, Fork is always a favorite for us.

The appetizers were just OK but every entree we ordered was awful, especially the risotto ravioli. We ordered grilled chicken with it and it came with diced chicken thrown on top of the cold ravioli. Awful. ANother person in our party ordrered a steak that was overcooked and tasteless. Will not go back which says a lot since we live in Boise and have cosidered Fork one of our favorites. Not anymore. Highly diasappointing

We went specifically for the chicken and waffles (served on Tuesday only). It was everything I expected and more. I'm not sure I've ever eaten a meal where you could taste each flavor so distinctly. Delicious!!

Appetizer-fried Brussel Sprouts were overdone and burnt and they served them anyway. Burnt paper with a side of dipping sauce-Disappointing. Fried potatoes on salmon dish were overdone as well. Employees working the fryer not paying attention. Rest of the meal was good. I give it a 3 rating because of this problem that greatly affects the overall quality of the food and dining experience.

We had heard this was a very good restraint. We went there with friends. The dinner entrees were just fair, small portions. The artichoke ravioli had much more sauce than raviolis...the artichoke flavor did not come through the strong pesto sauce. Trout entrée came with kale. The kale was tough so not edible. We also had the Salmon Sammy & pulled pork Sammy. these were good but not spectacular. Everything is a la carte so the dinner ended up being fairly expensive for the quality of the meal. We will not be back & will not recommend to friends. Music in the restraint was so loud we had a hard time carrying on a conversation between the 4 of us.

We were seated nearest the door where cold air rushed in again and again. The food, as always, was excellent. Tomato basil soup was very flavorful and hot, and the prime rib dip sandwich with thin sliced prime rib and horsey was fresh - among the best I have ever had.

Fork is a welcoming place with very good to excellent food. The chopped salad alone is worth the trip. The special of the day tacos were very tasty, though the tortillas themselves were somewhat greasy. My only complaint is that the roasted brussels sprouts could really almost be described as burnt. Our waiter was very efficient and appropriately friendly.

We were visiting family in Boise and this was the first time they had been to Fork. The food was very good and the atmosphere was energetic. There were families with small children and a fun bloody mary bar for the older "kids". It's in an old bank (which is what our parents recalled it as) so it is an interesting building. I would recommend it to others and will return when we are in town again. Great location right downtown!

Food was outstanding. Service was above average. Only complaints were that there was no room to wait inside (arrived 10 minutes early for my reservation) and at times the noise level in the restaurant was so loud that I couldn't hear my waitress. Overall, the food outweighs the noise. I would go again but probably not on a weekend night, hoping that it would be a little less crowded.
