Delicious foods with great gluten free options! With a large burger, but low price it was a great bang for your buck!
Friendly service and excellent food. We will definitely go back!
Amazing place to eat. Staff very friendly and food is just delicious. Fair price. A MUST place to eat in Boise. Will be back for sure!
It was a very nice evening. I added to the reservation that it was our anniversary. I’m not sure why. It wasn’t acknowledged, or a glass off wine offered, nothing... there was a man at a table near us who was a loud lout, not the restaurant’s fault. Had to request bread, it took quite a while after our food was served, then had to flag down staff for butter, which also took a long time. I would have appreciated a small salad served with dinner, or offered. The food was excellent. We had the butter cake that was delicious, but it was for us to split, and they were out of vanilla ice cream, which it’s normally served with, so we had huckleberry, but one very small scoop. Do that serving wasn’t well thought-out. Other than those things, it really was a beautiful evening. We were happy, but a few of these things beat e mention
Went here on a Thursday night and sat inside. The best thing we had was by far the butter cake! So delicious. I’ve had butter cake before and this was much better. The asparagus fries were very good too- about the only appetizer we were interested in. We had a filet and the chicken. The chicken was good but a little dry on the white meat portion. Everyone loved the mashed potatoes! Very good and buttery but garlicy too. The filet was cooked just right and very tender. The chimichurri sauce was ok for me. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. It did take some time to get cocktails - after our appetizer. But the bourbon cocktail with ginger beer was very good!
Always one of my favorite restaurants. Love the vegetarian appetizers especially!
Overall good experience, would go back when in Boise.
It is difficult to describe Fork since given the Coronavirus situation Fork is the quietest I have ever seen it. The food, however, is never a disappointment, and given the absence of the usual crazy crowd, the ambiance was sublime. The staff worked hard to make the entire evening a success with great service and attention.
I have been here before. Food is always good but the entire experience was just off today. Hopefully it's just an off day for them
Excellent food. Excellent service. Short ribs yummy. Onion rings huge. Cocktail delicious. Service thoughtful and smefficient.
Fried Chicken Tuesday is always a treat. Despite the C19 restrictions spacing was maintained, mask usage was per recommendations, service was good and the fried chicken was great!!!!
Food was great. Sitting outside was fun. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
Fork never disappoints! Incredible service, friendly staff and amazing food.
Our meal, service, and atmosphere was excellent. Can't wait to visit again!
The place was amazing! Went for my birthday dinner and the staff was so nice! Plus the food was AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back!
Fork nice ambiance, good food and drink. I really like the variety offered on the menu!
Two of our party had the street tacos. They both were disappointed in how much fat was on each taco. They've had street tacos before and those did not have the same amount of fat.
Food and service was great!
I wanted to like this place but the food wasn’t the greatest. The chicken I ordered was bone dry and Way over seasoned to the point of making me sick to my stomach. The carnitas my son ordered were ok. Not the best I’ve had. The salad was tasty, but if you aren’t a fan of corn or cheese it’s not my style. The gluten free brownie with ice cream and whipped cream was tasty too. Again, nothing super original or exciting enough to make me want to go back and definitely not worth the prices they are charging. If you are gluten free or celiac or hashimotos and you like fish, perhaps it’s your place. I would love to see the kitchen revamp the menu and really re-evaluate the marriage of new flavors and cooking methods for the meat. That chicken could be grilled to perfection with minimal seasonings.
First the positives: the food was very good, although more heavily geared toward comfort food than we expected. Still, everything was delicious and portions were huge. Also, our server had a great personality and was attentive.
The negatives were the Covid protocols. The restaurant entry was filthy, the tables and chairs also looked dirty, and the table cleaning before seating a new party was disgusting. They used a small rag and bucket with solution, neither of which were never changed out - same dirty rag, same solution. Table tops were quickly wiped, then the rag was tossed back in the bucket. The chairs were not cleaned. We have been traveling through the Midwest and West for weeks and have found that most restaurants are extensively cleaning all tables and chairs between parties, using a spray bottle and fresh towels. And most are either using paper menus or digital ones so that customers aren't sharing them. Many also put sanitizer on each table. At Fork, the hostess's job was to wipe down menus, yet we caught her looking around to see if anyone would notice and plopping them into the basket without cleaning them. It's great that Fork requires staff and customers to wear masks. But that seemed to be the limit on Covid precautions.
great tasting hamburger. literally the best I've ever had. Cali Creme beer was great as well.
Food was good outdoor ambiance was great and our server Matt was exceptional.
My wife and I had a great date night. It was good to get out. We started with the special crisped artichoke appetizer which was perfect with a great dipping sauce. For entrees: my wife chose a bowl of tomato bisque with artisan bread and I had the slow rotisserie roasted herb crusted northwest prime rib with brown butter mashed Idaho potatoes. The tomato bisque was excellent, as good as any I have tasted. The prime rib was tasty and the potatoes were very good. I would have liked a thicker cut of the prime rib and felt it was a little over-priced at $35. We finished with Fork's Signature Warm Butter Cake which was super. The our waitress and staff were very courteous and friendly. They were observing safe protocols. While posted clearly that guests were to wear mask when not seated, and the Fork had disposable masks available, we noticed some guests moving around the restaurant, stopping at other tables to visit, without masks.
Good food, good service! Even with the Coronavirus garbage, they made it all very enjoyable!
Despite Covid restrictions and the related challenges restaurants face, the food was wonderful as always and the staff friendly, attentive and hustling.
Fork is always so consistent. Delicious food, amazing craft drinks, impeccable service (Sebastian was THE BEST), worked with my guest on her food allergies, just the best all around restaurant experience.
Food was very yummy!! We would definitely go back!
Have always loved this restaurant so when we decided to visit a restaurant again to celebrate our daughter’s 18th bday, we chose Fork. Sadly disappointed quality of food and reduced menu. Not at all the experience we had so eagerly been awaiting.
I was looking forward to our dinner at Fork because of the recent reviews I read about it. My husband enjoyed his meal and I enjoyed nothing. I odered the Boise Chopped salad because the ingredients sounded great, but they must have been chopped so little because I could not taste any of them. My salad was a bowel of greens very lightly dressed with a bland dressing. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich and was quiet pleased. I ordered a speciality drink for almost $10 and it was quiet tart, tasting like a limeaide. The atmosphere OUTSIDE of Fork was loud because cars appeared to be street racing or peeling out all night, I hope they did not defund the police here too because I would never come back then. Overall, it was ok.
Just awesome we love Fork! I had the burger- cooked perfectly fries piping hot. My wife had the Brussel sprouts she let me try a few they were dynamite. For dinner she had an amazing salad with chicken.
Our server was very intuitive and surprised me with my order. I was going to add salmon to my salad but changed my mind because it was smoked salmon, not grilled. Our server picked up right away why I changed my mind and I didn't say why. My salad came out with grilled salmon! Great surprise. It was delicious. Thank you Fork chef and server.
Fork was innovative and great; the outside dining was really GREAT.
The food was the highlight; the service was off to a VERY SLOW start as no one came to our table for approximately 15 minutes after seated.
The app and main terrific; the warm butter cake not quite as dymnaimc as expected, but good!
Not bad at all considering the midst of a pandemic. Nice patio dining with proper social distancing. All servers wore masks. Music was pretty loud when we arrived, but they graciously turned it down at our request. Very nice server and hostesses. Food was really delicious. Not too much and not too little. It was fun to be downtown for a little while before going back to sheltering!!
The grilled artichoke appetizer and meatball appetizer were excellent. Entrees were good but not great, halibut was a little salty. The Zinfandel wine was great and as always the dessert was awesome.
Delicious food, great service. We will definitely be back!!!
I ordered the Ravioli and added chicken. Great flavor, big portion. My husband had the brisket sandwich which was excellent and the Parmesan fries which never disappoint! We sat outside and appreciated the enforcement of masks when diners were up and about. It was an excellent experience and it felt safe to be eating out in that environment. I would be remiss if I didn't also compliment the wine list.
The food and our server were outstanding! The hostesses were not welcoming or accommodating. We had a reservation and requested outside dining and were put at a cramped table in the busiest traffic area leading to the hostess stand. VERY noisy and not at all enjoyable with that table. Our server was excellent at helping with food allergies.
The food of course was excellent and the service first class
Loved the atmosphere, the food was amazing, the environment was amazing, I would actually think of moving to Boise!
Food was great. Fast service. We were the 2nd people there and they sat us next to the street with a rope right behind my head and traffic. Other than that, it was great!
