My Fiancé’s father found a hair in his water & I found a piece of chicken in my salad I ordered vegetarian.
Overall a good time with good food. We did order soup and salad which was requested before the meal, but arrived at the same time. Definitely a place worth going to more times.
Wanted to try fork and it did not disappoint. Appetizers were great, entrees were flavorful and oh make sure you get the butter cake...omg
Great staff and amazing food!
Fork is my absolute favorite place to eat. I love that it’s all fresh food and such a friendly atmosphere!
First, we love Fork. Sadly, yesterday, food was cold and the cinnamon rolls were burnt, so they were out of them by 10 am. Additionally, I put in the notes that the special occasion was a birthday and no one said anything. We will continue to go, but yesterday’s visit was disappointing.
Always a great experience at Fork! Love the location, the service is excellent, and the menu never disappoints.
Years ago your menu was larger and had a nice steak with a red wine sauce. brought me back a few times. The filet I got this visit was the but end and a little tough. For the money I think a better meat cut should be served.
We dined outside so there was a little traffic sound, but still pretty quiet. Inside the restaurant it's a bit livelier, but still not noisy. Always an enjoyable and delicious dining experience.
Fork is always a great dining experience. One of the best restaurants in the Boise-Meridian area. Everything on menu is great, and I’m not exaggerating.
Great American Cuisine with Fabulous Service. I ordered the slow roasted pork ribs with fries and coleslaw. I definitely would go back there again.
I love Fork and their food. I come here a lot. But this time the time for food was ridiculous and our waiter didn’t even care. We asked about it and he said he’d check on our food then went to three other tables chatting it up. It was extremely frustrating how poor the service was. And the lack of communication. It wasn’t the service I’m used to.
Attentive server, excellent cuisine, friendly atmosphere
Overall a nice experience - food just wasn't as good as I would have expected from such a popular spot.
Food and service was amazing. I would highly recommend. There were four of us each having something different and it was all very good.
The food and service were outstanding. I had the Cobb Salad and my husband had the steak -- they were both delicious.
First time getting out from covid19 lockdown had reservations. Brunch food was good little to salty for me I like to add my own salt
Great food. Amazing service.
Excellent food, drink and service! One of the best local restraunts in Downtown Boise!
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service! Can’t wait to go back next time we are in Boise.
Fork has some of the better vegetarian options in downtown Boise, from their butternut squash ravioli to their asparagus fries and grilled cheese + tomato soup "fondue". But this is really because they blend high quality with subtly to keep everything fresh, distinct, and utterly enjoyable. Whatever you get is going to be good, but do yourself a favor and don't sleep on the butter cake -- it's always worth it.
Great service, beautiful bar inside, the food however was lack luster. Planning to go back and try brunch because the ambiance is worth giving it another shot.
We ate at Fork on April 14 for my 60th birthday. It was just okay. You’re paying for atmosphere and locally-sourced food. We ordered the wine-braised short-ribs, and they were very tender, but extremely salty. The asparagus fries were good. Shared bread pudding with salted caramel sauce. I felt the salty should be a bit more subtle, and hubby thought the dessert was too sweet. Waiter did the bare minimum, but we usually find some degree of charm and personality, in a restaurant at this price point. Maybe we didn’t look like money? FYI, in Idaho appearances can be a little deceiving. But maybe it was just him. There was nothing terrible about this restaurant, and the atmosphere and location are special. They could do better, though.
After hearing great things about Fork, my son, his gf and I decided to try it for a late weekday lunch. The building is funky and inviting. I liked it a lot. Our service was stellar - from being seated to our waiter, who also happened to be bartending. He was friendly and attentive. We ordered the asparagus fries appetizer to share and it was very good. Lots of asparagus which was breaded nicely and hot. There is nothing worse than cold food. I'd suggest some more ranch in the future - we were served a small dish of it and it was not enough. My son had the urban burger and the parmesan truffle fries that come with the burger. They were a hit and not one bit was left. His gf had a half portion of their garden salad and it was HUGE! She said it was very good. I had the cubano sandwich and it comes with their house made jalepeno-lime chips. EH - wrong choice. The sandwich wasn't horrible but I've had better. I hardly noticed there was cheese on it. I wouldn't order it again. The chips - come on! They were very over cooked and if there was anything on them, it had to be so minute that you couldn't taste it. They were tasteless burned slices of potato. If this is the side that comes with your order, skip it. Pay more for something, anything, else. These are awful. With that being said, I'd eat here again and maybe try something else. There are better restaurants in this area IMO.
Always a good choice. Happy to see FORK back at it's pre virus status as a consistently delicious place to go any time. Diverse enough menu to satisfy anyone's guests.
The suggestions made by the employees for food and wine choices were fantastic.
Excellent food and service!!
The place is nice, looks higher-end but people were dressed fairly casually. Made reservations via OpenTable for a Saturday night and we were promptly seated while those without reservations had a wait. We did note that we were celebrating our son's birthday but there was no acknowledgment so we let our server know at the end and he brought out a scoop of ice cream with a candle. The Tomato Basil Fondue (soup over a flame) & Grilled Cheese was soooo good, as was the Northwest Filet. One son ordered Chicken Tenders and he loved them, the other ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs and it did not look good at all - he ate the few little meatballs and picked at the noodles before saying he was done. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned but my Pear Grapefruit Fizz literally tasted like water with a splash of lime. Overall, our experience was good and we would come back and try a few new things.
Service was great.... I am leaving only 3 stars for this though, because there was a hair in my food, and they simply replaced the plate they didn’t offer desert or a discount and in my opinion when something like that happens you should offer some sort of perk to make up for it.
Great food and wonderful service. We will definitely visit again when we are back in Boise.
Perfect in every way, great food and service. The best!
Our server was amazing, knowledgeable, patient and an all around great guy! Food and drinks were really tasty! Thanks!
My family and I had a wonderful time at Fork, Boise. The ambiance was lovely, the food is amazing and the drink selection is wonderful. Service was exceptional from the hostest to the server to the chef!
Disappointed that on Easter they would be serving hamburgers and sandwhiches. Ended having a drink then going to the Village to eat Easter dinner.
Between the service and the food, Fork is always a wonderful restaurant and staple of Boise. Whether it’s date night or girls night it’s a win.
Fork was an amazing restaurant for this first timer to Boise. Everything was fantastic, from the food and drinks, to the service and ambiance. I highly recommend and hope to have the opportunity to return one day.
Excellent all around but our server was exceptional!
Great place to eat!
Even better if you have food sensitivities. Staff are very attuned to what is in everything they make and will help guide you to choices that meet your dietary needs.
The food was "ok". Lots of oil on everything! The green beans weren't cleaned or trimmed. Appeared to be soaked in oil and heated. Definitely not done or tasty.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Waitress was short and rude. Food was ok, but not worth the price. Menu was confusing, and unhelpful.
