   The service was great. Staff was very friendly. We had the Fig and Pig crostini and pastrami egg rolls for appetizers. They were really good. We ordered The Nashville chicken sandwich, a hangover burger, pastrami sandwich and regular chicken sandwich with the crab enchilada frittata for our main courses. The crab was delivered to the table and smelled horrible. I took a tiny bite and it was spoiled as if it were not stored at the proper temperature. I had to send it back and got the blackened salmon sandwich which was better but way overcooked. The house fries on every plate were very soggy and the main comment on every dish was that the food was just ok. I don’t plan on returning because everything was expensive and just not worth it. I tried the signature cocktail called the tequila-Tini which got rave reviews by critics but honestly there was nothing to rave about and it was very expensive also. I will not be returning.

   I got the margarita-tini which was good. Salty and flavorful. Salmon was cooked perfectly and very fresh, I highly recommend but I will get different sides next time the broccoli mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The sides were luke warm and food came out so quickly you could tell that didn’t freshly prepare it for us.

   Charcuterie board was highlight of the meal. Noise level was intolerable. Couldn’t hear anything the person next to me said.

   Nice place. Very convenient for folks that live close. Service was great. Food was pretty darn good, other than our steak being tough. Overall it's a nice place.

   Arrived and hostess seated us (party of 2) promptly. Restaurant was very loud, was difficult to have a conversation. Tables are very close to other tables. Not a good place to bring a first date Food took almost an hour to come out. Waitress first told us it was waiting on chicken. Then on a subsequent visit she told us our food was given to another table. Regardless, it took waaay to long. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy as there were always empty tables. Food was tasty, portions were a bit small. No comps of any kind were offered to compensate for the long food time delivery. Probably won’t be back

   Tonight was the second time I went to Fire and Fork and the second time I had to leave. Both times made a reservation on OpenTable both times seated at bar. Both times never got service. I am a restaurant owner and sympathize with short staffing. I live nearby and want to make it our neighborhood restaurant but just can’t get served

   Salmon entree (with 2 veggie sides) was good (cooked well, tasted good), but I was very underwhelmed by the portion size, when the entree cost $29.75. I left hungry and ate again when I got home. Pre-Covid this entree would have probably cost $18-20 at most. My friend's Old Fashioned cocktail was $16 (I hope it was good!). Better value elsewhere--menu pricing too high.

    Great vibe! Cool decor and good outdoor patio. Our waitress was FANTASTIC!! So welcoming, knew every aspect of the menu and made suggestions. She was extra attentive to my MIL who suffers dementia but loves people and talking to new people. Food is good, the chicken and waffles is the best I’ve ever had!

    Enjoyed a nice evening here for my 3rd visit however due to overbooking by Open Table, had to wait 40 minutes for a table even though we had made a reservation 3 weeks prior. Management was scrambling and handed out glasses of champagne which was very nice. Finally were seated and enjoyed great service and food. Noise level was high and it was difficult to carry on a conversation with our friends but we made it through. We did notice a table of 8 people who were seated when we arrived and were still seated when we were leaving so people need to have grace and not stay longer than necessary, especially when a restaurant is obviously busy. Will return but maybe not a Friday or Saturday evening.

    Food and drinks were excellent. Well prepared entrées, perfectly cooked and presented well. As a group we tried a variety of the menu options and everyone loved their selection. Service on the other hand was lacking. Our server was less than attentive and disappeared for long times only to be seen Socializing with other employees. Managers stopped by our table twice and both times had to handle items neglected by our server. Overall food and venue was nice and I would visit again. Hoping management can train the staff better.

    Restaurant is beautiful but it was so noisy, it was very hard to hear anyone. Food was delicious and our server was attentive. We would go back but not during a busy time period.

    The ambiance was relatively nice. Prime place for a date or happy hour. The drinks were not good. The flavor was off and did not hit the mark on a Paloma or margarita. The wings were horrible. The flavor was okay but lacked salt and were slimy like if they had been sitting in a pan or crock pot all day. The salmon appetizer was okay, but not worth the $16. The tacos were poorly executed. Who puts whole black beans on a taco? Very odd food execution despite the decent looking menu.

    Excited to try it out but left disappointed. Chili (not Texas chili) was good and why it got 2 stars. Sauce on chicken wings was odd. My wife had wedge salad which was underwhelming and they initially charged more for it than what the menu said because they “updated the price” but not on the menu. At least they fixed that but glad we caught it. I had shrimp tacos. Shrimp tasted like they took precooked shrimp ring from grocery store and then battered it. Left a strange taste in my mouth and I didn’t finish the 3rd one. They used the sliced and waxed jalapeño slices that I took off because I don’t like the waxy taste. It didn’t feel like a “scratch kitchen”, but it cost like one.

    Terrible experience - upon arrival hostess ignored us for several minutes. Tables were tightly packed in clearly to maximize seating for Valentine’s Day at the guests expense. Chairs were hitting against each other and we basically felt like it was a shared dining experience. Server was MIA most of the night for all tables in our vicinity - couple next door were waiting over ten minutes for silverware after their app was delivered. Our food was mediocre at best - items were missing and took too long to flag down server to notify them. Overall would NOT recommend.

    It took 25 minutes before waiter showed up after we were seated. Several drink orders were never deliver despite sitting ready on the bar for over 20 minutes. The waiter never delivered our 2nd round of drinks despite being reminded and told he would go get it. When he forgot a second time after being reminder, we asked for a check and decided to go next door. When he brought the check, he had billed us for the drinks that he kept forgetting and never delivered. The waiter was nice and apologetic and the food was delicious but the service was atrocious.

    Fun place at the Hub in McKinney! This place was happening!!!! Casual upscale food… the pastrami sandwich is phenomenal. The hummus nosh appetizer was ok. Service was attentive and personable. It’s great to have a new option in the area. We will definitely be back!

    This is one of the best restaurants in this area without a doubt. Josh was a great new server and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. The food is fantastic, definitely cannot go wrong with whatever you try!

    Definitely a step up from experiences in the past. The management team is attentive and helpful. They had a small duo jazz band playing tonight that was soothing and relaxing and not overly loud. It just made the ambience more enjoyable. Kudos to the team for making it a much more valuable experience.

    Three sets of dirty silverware given to us in a row, incorrect drinks were brought, and one of our meals had to be sent back for being totally not cooked. Chaos was in the air all night and the manic energy was palpable. I regret bringing the family I had visiting in town here for dinner 😔

    Pastrami egg rolls were the highlight. $17 for a bottom shelf old fashioned which did not dazzle the taste buds. Chicken sandwich was average. Very loud inside and no real flair to speak of. Plenty of other places to try, so not going back anytime soon. However, recommend trying the pastrami sandwich. I saw one platted and it looked good. Based on how good the pastrami egg rolls were, I am sure the sandwich held its own.
