Great British gastro-pub food in a cosy restaurant await at Fork & Field in Livingston. Foodwise, you’ll find some interesting twists on pub classics. Take for example the haggis scotch egg or the Korean chicken. But don’t worry, the usual favourites are there, like fish and chips and bangers and mash. The restaurant couldn’t be cosier, with stone walls, dim lighting and comfy wooden furnishings, plus loads of quirky details. The service is laidback and friendly, which compliments the freshly cooked, homemade food perfectly. Cocktails, ales and a great wine selection complete the deal at the Mid Calder Eatery. Book a table and head out of the city to Bank Street - you won’t be disappointed.
