The food and service was amazing. We were the only people in the restaurant for a good portion of our visit and the attention paid to the table was above and beyond. We are all from out of town or would happily visit again...

I have never been to a place where the staff went so far out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots and highly recommend.

We had a great time for my grandmother’s birthday! They were very accommodating and even added a personal touch. We brought our own cake and they were very nice about it and put it in the fridge. We love the Executive Chef and he always makes our visits awesome!

Food was delicious. Everyone ordered a different entree and there were no sad faces at the table. My companions loved the hush puppies! Staff was great with my food allergy and we had an overall wonderful evening. We cannot wait to return.

The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We loved everything about this place. The cocktails were especially good as well. We got hush puppies for an appetizer and they were hot, crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The crab cakes were meaty and fresh. The salmon was cooked a perfect medium and was accompanied by tender asparagus and quinoa which was delicious! The shrimp and grits were the best we’d had in a long time! Can’t wait to go back!

We love coming here! We ordered 2 apps - the cauliflower and the special that evening (Bites made with 4 cheeses, a pesto and a pepper jam) which were both wonderful. Some of our dinner choices included the house salad, the crab cake appetizer, roasted chicken, a selection of vegetables, and the fish special. All were above par! For cocktails , the Prosecco and Pear was tasty and we shared Conundrum Red Blend! Absolutely love everything about the menu, the restaurant itself, and the friendly staff!

Fork and Barrel was the perfect spot for Brunch!! The short rib eggs benedict was great, the bernaise sauce was so good and the Bloody Mary was excellent!! We sure outside which was the parking lot, but it was still nice and the service was top notch!!
Will definitely go back when I visit again.

The beat service we have had in a long time. Everyone in the restaurant was super friendly. The food was outstanding. You’ve got to try the tomato bisque with a few hush puppies.

We have been twice, once for anniversary then took some friends from Colorado there. Each time - high quality food, superb service, and extra attention from general mgr & chef! We keep telling our friends they HAVE to go there. I love the Happy Hour too.

Very cozy atmosphere. Could be a little loud at times. The food was good but maybe a little over priced for the portions. Very small menu but could be because I was there for brunch.

The outdoor patio was great. The servers were nice and made our experience fun!

While we ate in the parking lot (yes, we're in the middle of COVID), the tent and stringed lights were nice. A candle on the table would have been nice as well. The winner of the night was the Brussels sprout salad - DELICIOUS! We'll definitely be back.

The staff and the food were AMAZING. We had the spinach dip, fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, tomato bisque soup and salad. The deviled eggs were my favorite. The main course is where it's at! We had the red snapper, salmon, shrimp & Grits, and short rib. Wow. The main courses were fully loaded in size and taste. We could not have been happier with our choices. Again, portion size was great and all had amazing taste! The general manager greeted us immediately after we sat down. Our waitress was kind, informative and patient. Even the owner introduced himself and created conversation. We sat comfortably outside. Everything was amazing and we can not wait to go back. Thank you for having us, F&B!

If you like elevated southern food, this is the place for you. I had the pork shank, and it was one of the best meals I have had in months. My wife at shrimp and grits and loved it!

Excellent food and service for Geoff and his team. The GM personally greeted and sat us and thanked us for our business during these unprecedented times. It was our anniversary and they had a card waiting for us at our table signed by the whole crew. The food was just as good as the service! Best place in Louisville!

I love introducing new people to this wonderful restaurant. We shared several appetizers, the Buffalo cauliflower and pork belly were our favorites but they were all delicious. We also shared the wedge salad truly the best wedge we've ever had followed by shrimp and grits, and the short rib, we topped off the evening with the cheesecake and s'mores brownie with ice cream. My friends and I loved everything and will definitely be back very soon.

Lovely brunch under the tent in the back. Best cinnamon roll I’ve had in a long time. Couldn’t pass up the dollar mimosas. Our server was perfect and the manager even came by to check on us. Great experience!

Must try!! We stopped here for brunch on our way back to Ohio and it was one of the best meals on our trip to Louisville. The staff was so kind, made great recommendations, the restaurant was spotless with team members visibly cleaning and straightening in their down time. Even the bathroom was thoughtful with accommodations for parents with small children and reminders to the fellas, to put the seat down. :) AND the food was unreal! At our table of four, we enjoyed caramel apple cinnamon rolls, French press coffee's, cappuccino, breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, veggie scramble and the corned beef hash. The only 'complaint' (if you want to call it that) was the portion sizes were large. I wish we lived closer to enjoy every weekend - especially with $1 mimosas!! ;)

This was my first visit to Fork & Barrel, and I couldn't be happier. We went for my wife's birthday and the level of attention and service absolutely astounded us. We had a great dining experience and were made to feel like we were the only table there.

The food and service were both amazing, Sam our server was very knowledgeable as well as Tyler the general manager. We had appetizers of pimento cheese, crab cakes, and a special of stuffed jalapeños they were all exceptional. The entrees of shrimp and grits and short ribs were just as good, followed by house made cheese cake and pecan cinnamon roll bread pudding. I can't recommend this place enough, can't wait to dine there again .

We were in Kentucky for the weekend visiting my boyfriend’s family. We need a place that would accommodate 8 people for dinner with my stepson and his girlfriend and her family. I am a self described foodie and not being from the south, I was immediately draw to this place for its cocktails, hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese dip and shrimp and grits. We also ordered their wedge salad as the tomato jam on the wedge with candy bacon is like dessert in a salad. Yum. We also ended up 2 of their specials.. philly jalapeño poppers and the halibut cheeks. My 2 teenage stepsons both ordered the burger. They are avid burger lovers and I admit they also ordered a burger at a nearby restaurant the night before. They said the burger here was “by far” one of their best burgers. The executive chef came out several times to ask us how we enjoyed his food... I always appreciate it when the chef comes out to ask people about the food. We our adding this restaurant as a must every time we are back in town.

Excellent food and service. Both the shrimp & grits and beef short ribs were yummy, the former being the best I've ever had.
