Stopped in for breakfast before heading back to Indiana. Our waitress was outstanding, very friendly and attentive. The breakfast sandwich is a must-have. The chicken sausage and poppy seed waffles were ok. Our friend loved the hash browns. Very cute place, the mimosa bar was really cool.

Appetizer of roasted cauliflower was almost raw for some pieces. Otherwise flavor profile was good. Wedge salad and blue cheese could have used a sprinkle of salt. Both entrees of duo chicken and pork shank were excellent although carrots with pork shank were close to raw , as opposed to tender. Very enjoyable evening, just need more attention to vegetables

My husband and I ate here on Saturday night (day after Valentine's). Our food was delicious (he had Shrimp and Grits and I had the salmon). We also got the brownie for dessert and it was wonderful. Our waitress was great and we had a wonderful evening!

Food was great - including appetizer, main courses, and dessert. The drinks were good too and the waitress was able to answer our questions about them. The service was good I never felt rushed or like I was waiting. The tables were super close together. We were basically dining with three other groups it felt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Fork and Barrel. Appetizer and dinner portions are moderate so you do not feel "stuffed" when you leave. We were there on a Wednesday evening so it was not very crowded. Service was great, personal and very informative. We will certainly be going again--for dinner and to try a brunch.

If you have not been here yet you MUST. Chef Geoff Heyde is amazing and the food is fantastic. Libby our server was very attentive and so very nice. The menu has great variety and everyone (all 8 of us) enjoyed it all.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Great place and our first experience here. I had the filet and my wife had the salmon. Both very well prepared, and were extremely good to eat. Look forward to sharing this place with my co-workers.

Have been here several times in the evening & it was great. Decided to try brunch. It was ok-not bad but not wanting to return. Had reservations-not busy. Tried to seat us directly at table behind some one else along wall-tables were too close together so we asked for a different one-no problem.
Server started out acting like didn’t want to be there or answer our questions but got better after delivery of our food. Disappointed no cinnamon rolls today. I had the chicken & waffles-chicken was tender but had no flavor! Waffle was like a waffle! Had to ask for syrup. We also had the breakfast burrito-after adding the salsa to burrito it was much better! It needed something to spice it up.

The cocktails were very good and so was the service. We had French onion soup to start and it was pretty good although a little peppery. The entrees, beef stroganoff and a veggie plate were ordinary. I especially had high hopes for the stroganoff. To top the night off here’s a big beware.... I TRIED TO USE GIFT CERTIFICATES FROM COSTCO. GUESS WHAT.... ALCOHOL IS NOT INCLUDED! HOW DUMB IS THAT?!

Dinner was delicious (scallops). Service was excellent. Savannah did an excellent job as did other staff members who filled water glasses, delivered food, etc. Glad to have a chance to compliment the owner/chef.
It was pretty noisy, and Savannah turned down the volume of the music system which improved the atmosphere for us. One in our party felt like his drink was skimpy.

While we were there on a very busy Friday night, the spinach dip was overcooked. The burgers that 3 of us ordered came out undressed. When the kitchen staff finally brought out the “congealed” pimento cheese with cold “crispy” scallions, our burgers were cold. We asked to see the manager who was the owner, Emily. She was extremely rude, combative and defensive when we shared our disappointment in the food. Flippantly, she turned around and we never saw her again. She did comp our meal (thank you) but never apologized or offered us something else. Our server was very competent and attentive. The website boasts of “southern hospitality” which did not exist that evening. It probably doesn’t exist at all. Emily could have made lemonade out of the lemons but instead the lemons soured our dining experience and will not be dining there any time soon.

This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. We shared apps - roasted cauliflower and the pimento cheese board - both were tasty! I had the house salad and mussels as my entree, my husband had the chicken, our friends had the stroganoff and the vegetable entree. All were wonderful! Love this place!

This is one of my favorite restaurants and the only one we go to for Sunday brunch. I recommend this place all the time and I know that two families came recently and were not disappointed. ( :

I love the vegetable omelet, but I wish it had more veggies. I understand that it may not be consistently cooked, as in not having the same type of veggies at hand, so it would be advisable just not to make it. One time I got a bunch of tomatoes and that was gross because tomatoes were not cooked first, so they were hard and not ripe. I didn't complain as I just took it as everyone has a bad day and it was a first time that my food wasn't right.

This past Sunday I got toasted kale on top and LOVED IT!!! This is my go-to brunch item, so I hope toasted kale garnish stays. Will definitely come back!!!

My wife and I recently went to Fork and Barrel for dinner. We had crab cakes for an appetizer and they were very good. My wife had the brazed short ribs and I had the stroganoff. Both meals were excellent. I was very impressed with the owner/ chief as he was out delivering meals, drinks, clearing tables and checking on all the tables! The restaurant was a little noisy but other that that i would highly recommend going to the Fork and Barrrel!

Nice menu choices so there was something for everyone. Adequate size portions. Enjoyed sitting at the table by the kitchen, it was out of the noise of the main room. Great place to catch up with friends.

Great cocktails and food. I had the beef stroganoff and it was amazing! Another person in our group had the scallops and they were perfect. The only compliant I have is that they couldn't customize the dish and remove the raisins. I hate raisins LOL. The Chef greeted tables and asked for feedback which gave the experience a personal touch. The mocktails were an added treat for another group member that doesn't drink.

We have eaten at Fork & Barrel several times for dinner but never had brunch on Sunday. Our brunch experience did not disappoint! We love the cozy atmosphere and the service is always excellent. The short rib benedict was delicious. A very creative dish of tender short rib meat placed on crispy hash brown cakes and topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Every layer was perfection! We were offered to visit the Mimosa bar but opted for spicy bloody marys instead. It was a delightful meal. Can't wait to go back.

The bad: Bartender was comically slow to take our order and to pour us a glass of wine and a beer.
The good: Caesar salads were amazing. The stroganoff was a little under cooked but the flavor of the spectacular sauce and beef, more than made up for that. The scallops were salted way way way too much, but the tiramisu for dessert made me quickly forget about that, too.

Overall, a positive experience - given the fact that they were so busy, the chef was waiting tables.

We went out to celebrate our recent engagement. Unfortunately it was anything but a nice evening. Our reservation was for 2 at 7:30 pm. We had to wait 20 minutes for our table. No one came by our table for another 30 minutes except someone to fill our water glasses. Finally a waitress came by and offered to “help out” and take our order. She didn’t tell us the specials (which we normally love here). We ordered drinks, salads and entrees. About 15 minutes later the chef/owner brought out our drinks. Shortly after were our salads. Entrees took almost an hour from ordering. My fiancé’s steak was as ordered but mine was rare when I ordered medium. I flagged someone down to send it back. After I got my entree back it was overcooked but edible. 5 staff stopped by to apologize about my steak and ask if the steak was okay. No mention of or apology for the lack of service. A table near us left before ordering after not getting water for half an hour. Other tables had the same slow service and apologies from the chef. The food here is amazing but it will be a long time if we ever go back.

Pasta noodles from my entrée were clumped, stuck together. Bread poor quality for the price, very burnt taste.
