Wonderful attentive waiter served us outside. Food was great. I Like the sidewalk dining experience. Happy hour drinks a bit small for the lower prices and limited. Always will return.

Good food and we really enjoyed our waitress, Isa (sp?). The biggest downside for us was the fact that both bathrooms were closed for repairs and we had to cut our meal short to find public bathrooms in the city somewhere. Thank you Isa for the desert to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
    Forgotten TonicResponded 6 days ago
John, thank you for the honest feedback, and we’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the food and Isa’s hospitality—she’s truly wonderful, and we’re happy she could help make your anniversary special. We’re really sorry about the bathroom situation that evening. Unfortunately, someone chose to flush feminine products rather than dispose of them properly, which caused a major clog in the main waste line. We had to call an emergency plumber to resolve it as quickly as possible. During the repairs, our neighbors at Nonna’s generously allowed our guests to use their restrooms, and we sincerely apologize that this option wasn’t communicated to you. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you and your guests back for the full experience next time.

We enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day dinner. We started with handcrafted cocktails, that were delicious, and the choices were extensive. Each of the appetizers and main dishes were exquisite and of a sizable portion that we could share them around the table. Forgotten Tonic is on our short list of repeats for restaurants in St Augustine.

Excellent! We are SO glad we came here. The cocktail situation is on point! Man oh man do they do a great job with their cocktail menu. This is SERIOUS cocktail-ing! But the food was also wonderful. Everything we had was just plain yummy. My shredded duck/pasta was incredibly flavorful. The meat was to die for and juicy. Pasta cooked perfectly. My caesar salad was also very good with excellent, made from scratch dressing. On a ceasar, the dressing is everything and this one was perfect. Our fried artichoke heart/spinach dip app with crostinis was unique and excellent. My husband wanted to eat side dishes for his meal. He thought the broccolini was cooked perfectly and very tasty. And he also really liked the fried rice. We had the dessert special, which was strawberry shortcake with a homemade biscuit that may have been the best biscuit I’ve ever had. It also had thin layer of lemon curd and thick whipped cream with the local strawberries. Service was great, ambiance was lovely. Interesting (in a good way) music. Historic setting. Definitely one of the best meals you can get in St Aug.

Liz, wow—thank you for such an incredible review! You really captured what we aim for: serious cocktail-ing, delicious food, and a vibe that feels both fun and special. We're thrilled you and your husband enjoyed everything from the duck pasta and that unforgettable strawberry shortcake (that biscuit is a hidden gem, right?). Huge thanks for noticing the little touches. Can’t wait to welcome you and your guests back to Aviles St for another standout night!
