    Drinks were amazing, eggs rolls and truffle fries delicious --- need to improve fish of the day option, it was a weird combo. A little too expensive. Would come back for drinks and a nibble.

    Big thanks for the review Claire! We're delighted you loved our cocktails, dishes, and desserts. We totally get the noise level, it has been a constant battle since we took over the space in 2019. We've installed sound baffles on the walls and under the chairs a couple years ago and it made an incredible difference. We should have a new and much better sound system before Christmas to help with the reverb. Can't wait to welcome you back for more fabulous times!

    We were celebrating a dear friend’s 75th birthday and everything was great. The appetizers, food and drinks were outstanding, and the birthday dessert was incredible. We’re a group of retired teachers and we feel that Forgotten Tonic earned an A+!

    Bartenders were great. After my Bee's Knees I requested a cocktail with gin and cucumberish! Excellent job. Loved the brick in the bar area. We will return.

    The atmosphere was great! Everyone was super nice and the drinks were great. The fresh catch was grouper. It was wonderful but the olives and capers made it slightly too salty for my taste. Otherwise, a great meal.

    We had a fantastic time. Ciara (I feel horrible for not being 100% on her name) but she was great. She took her time, went over the menu, made recommendations and told us about her favorites both food and drink. We are more small plates, cocktails and dessert people. Went with the Pesto Flatbread, Mestballs & Baked Brie. The meatballs were a bit overdone but still flavorful, the others were spot on. Wide variety of cocktails and all we had were very good. We really wanted the Bourbon Caramel cheesecake. She brought out Crème Brûlée and informed us they had sold the last cheesecake so our dessert was on the house. Crème Brûlée was great and not just because it was free. Over all we had a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back.

    We were excited to dine here. The server was good, knowledgeable of the menu. He checked back after each course. We got a Flatbread for appetizer, it was flavorful. Our drinks, a cosmopolitan and a bourbon, were done correctly. Our main meals were the issue. I got the steak, asked for it medium rare. My husband got the pork chop, the server said it would be cooked medium. My steak came out rare and the mashed potatoes were luke warm at best. The presentation of the dish was impeccable. My husband's pork chop came out raw. When the server came to check on us, we showed him our dishes. He was apologetic and he offered to recook the dishes. We said we would at home. The manager took 50% off the bill. The cook could of been having an off night, its hot out! We will give them another try

    Forgotten Tonic was a surprising treat. Great small bar atmosphere and great food. The lima bean hummus was fantastic - they are transitioning to pumpkin hummus in the fall, I think. We had the fresh catch (served over pasta) and the BLFGT (a BLT with fried green tomatoes) - both excellent. The Forgotten Tonic cocktail was clean, crisp and perfect for a very hot day (as was the excellent A/C!). Extra credit to our server, Liam, and the chef (Mo?), who made our visit special.

    Gem of a spot. The ambiance was lovely, the portions were generous, the service was attentive, but the food and drinks absolutely stole the show. Amazing cocktail selection and shareable apps. (We just did apps and drinks, so can’t comment on entrees). Highly recommend the warm bread and olives. And the bruschetta was like a deep dish pizza. Definitely a must-do.

    We had a great time - decor that the waiter didn’t come as often as we needed - we had o lu o e glass of water and half of us were thirsty and yet no refills. She came 2x the whole meal. I understand it was a busy night BUT we still needed some attention with food, drinks. Despite that I’d go again because the food was great!

    This is one of the best places we have eaten at while in St. Augustine! The drink menu was endless with so many fun and creative options. All of the appetizers we tried were excellent and the shrimp and grits were so smooth and creamy with a lot of flavor! The service was excellent, Brandy was very attentive and went with the flow with our crazy group of girls and our outlandish ordering style! Would recommend Forgotten Tonic to anyone and everyone!
