Had a later reservation for 9:30 on Friday, and the host was able to squeeze us in an hour early which we really appreciated! Grabbed a drink at the bar, then moved to a table to have dinner. Christina was our server and she did such a lovely job guiding our decisions on amount of plates/what to order. Food did not disappoint and portion sizes were reasonable for the price and location. Overall such a wonderful experience start to finish from the food and ambiance to literally everyone we encountered along the way. Be sure to try the salted cod and pork chop!

What a great dinner at Foreign Cinema! We started with the chilled potato leek soup, oysters and burrata toast with pesto and hazelnuts, and had the pork chop and bavette steak for entrees. Everything was amazingly good and we can't wait to return.

I've been trying to get here for a meal for years and finally made it happen. The experience exceeded my high expectations, which is really saying something. Everything was delicious, but the calamari in romesco sauce was phenomenal. Service was just enough. Our server always seemed to be there when needed, but let us be most of the time. Since my brother and I had a lot of catching up to do, we stayed quite late but never got the bums rush. We'll be back for sure.

Absolutely loved modern cinema. The ambiance is unmatched. The pasta dish I ordered for my main was a smaller portion than expected but delicious.

Definitely loud in there. Could benefit from some sound treatment. The food service was weirdly rushed for the first course, had to say “WAIT!”to the busser who was desperately trying to clear 3/4 empty plates. The mains were not brought at the same time (5 minutes difference which matters when the pasta, which was delivered first, already has the beginnings of a crust from sitting under a heat lamp). $26 for 4 bites of pasta, as a main? Not ideal. Food overall was good but overpriced. Desserts were ok, but $14 for a slice of cold cake? We ordered coffees to have with dessert and they arrived 5 min after the desserts did. So we sat and waited to eat them. The person who brought the coffees said they don’t have oat milk. Also brought Splenda only and literally said “we don’t have any more sugar” hahaha. Over all ok but probably won’t go back.

What would have been a fabulous meal was ruined by our wait person. The food was excellent, some of the best we've had recently. My husband had the haddock and I had the duck. Both delicious. The ambiance is industrial cool and wasn't too noisy while we were there. However, the waitress was so snarky and inattentive, seemingly annoyed at every request, that she ruined what would have otherwise been an excellent meal and experience.
