   I’ve enjoyed many lovely dinners here over the years, but this was my first brunch…and as per usual it was insanely wonderful!! From the coffees and pop tarts to the main courses and drinks, just WOW. Foreign Cinema remains my all time favorite spot in San Francisco, and makes me feel lucky I get to live here. ❤️

   We went to F.C. because we were seeing a movie two doors down. For me it was a no-brainer.

   Literally loved everything about this place. Such a beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Our server took care of us the whole night, def would come back!

   Food and cocktails were amazing. Thoughtful birthday card on arrival. Beautiful ambiance, light, springy. Music - atmospheric, not too loud. Loved it!

   My food(fried chicken) was tasty. Everyone else(halibut and pasta) were less thrilled. The focaccia was really good. The problem was the service. Wine was brought after the appetizers. They also took away the carafe of wine before it was empty. The real issue is that the waiter screwed up my friends order and brought the wrong dish. It took 10 minutes for it to be fixed, and in the meantime only brought a tiny espresso sized cup of soup(tasty) for my friend. There was no apology from the manager, and no comp of anything(other than the espresso cup of soup) for our troubles. At the end the waiter told us he was sorry for the misunderstanding, as if it wasn't just his mistake. A previous visit the service was mediocre, but not this bad. Seems like playing Russian roulette with who your server will be. Not worth it for a restaurant in this price class.

    Great spot! The service was super friendly! The vibe was warm and inviting and the food was really good! Definitely coming back.
