They are doing construction in the lobby of the hotel right now and the noise was crazy loud— loke a zamboni running through the restaurant. Not exactly what you want. Food was good tho.

Really underwhelmed. It was a Monday night, and the place was half-empty, but service was still extremely slow. Menu was very overpriced—about $125 for (essentially) two deviled eggs, a piece of salmon with quinoa on the side, a dish of pasta and two very pedestrian desserts. I don’t go to LA Live often, but I don’t see myself coming back here if I do.

The name Filling Station doesn’t match the menu, unless you are there to drink. The drink menu was extensive. The dinner menu not so much.

Overpriced and horrible food. My daughter’s chicken tenders seemed like it’s been fried 10 times over. The breading was so thick and gross it’s difficult for a child to bite into. I ordered a club soda and was charged $5.95 for it - so overpriced! And my $20+ crab and shrimp sandwich tasted awful and the portion was so small. Definitely disappointed after spending $50 on a mother daughter lunch.

This was a solid choice for a quick bite while at LA Live. I think this place is overlooked because it's inside a hotel and there are several restaurants in the area. It's very spacious and we had no wait getting seated. The host was very friendly and was great when showing us to our table. We started with the white cheddar bacon biscuits (freebie for Yelp check in!). They were pretty good , but don't hold a candle to the bacon cheddar biscuits at Manhattan Beach Post (but what biscuit does?) I had the Ford's Bacon Burger which was good. Overall good food, but I wasn't wowed.

We were seated very promptly for our reservation. We had a Kings Hockey game and our server said no problem we would be right on time and we were. The food was excellent. My Squash Blossom Tostada was unique and wonderful. My wife loved the beat salad. My Flatbread Sausage pizza was excellent my wife loved the Brisket Carnitas. It was a really excellent experience. Will be back again.

Food was good but service wasn't great.

It took over 5 minutes to get seated and there were a lot of tables open.

It took us 40 minutes to get our meal and the place wasn't busy.

Not what you would have expected when putting down $40 for a pork chop.

Ford’s Filling Station at the LA Live Marriott is our first choice for a pre-game meal before an LA Kings game at Staples Center. Food and service are great, we park at the Convention Center, and the restaurant is right across the street from Staples. Food, variety, service, and price is better than in Staples Center restaurants. Will be back at the next home game we attend in late Nov!

Delicious food with a knowledgeable server. The lobby of the Marriott was hopping, but it wasn’t too noisy for conversation. All in all, a lovely dinner.

It is unfortunate that there are not many breakfast options around the JW Marriott at LA Live. Consequently, we were forced to go to the hotel's only breakfast restaurant for subpar food at ridiculously expensive prices. I would not recommend this place for breakfast, and there are much better options with far better food for lunch and dinner.

I really only dine here during basketball season, as I used to enjoy their pasta dish that could work for a vegan. The menu still showed the old pasta dish online, but there was a delightful mushroom pizza that I ordered without cheese. The server could've been more helpful dealing with a vegan, but I made it work.

We had brunch on a Sunday. We were seated promptly for our reservation and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. A nice relief for Sunday brunch. The menu options are very limited, only a few brunch items, the majority of the menu was lunch. We had French toast, bacon wrapped dates, and huevos rancheros. They were all good. You get a pot of coffee which was great because you don't have to ask for refills.

Surprisingly good wine list for what I thought would be solely a beer joint. Excellent kale salad with pomegranate, faro, etc with a delightfully light & fresh dressing.
Make sure to top with the jumbo grilled shrimp- salty/sweet combo, but you can still taste the flavorful fresh shrimp. Dylon was a terrific server, to boot. Surprising hotel meal post-conference.

Went for dine LA. Had to ask for the dine La menu. Menu didn't match what was posted online. They brought my main when I still had half my salad. Scallops were salty. Dessert was the berry crumble. Was told the plate was hot. Interesting since the dessert itself was lukewarm at best. No one ever asked how my meal was. Had to ask several times for refills of water. Not impressed overall.

We had dinner here before a show at Staples arena. They were doing the Dine out LA "Prix fixe" menu, and my wife and I tried 2 different dinners. Great service, excellent food, and we were pleasantly surprised to find such a good restaurant near an entertainment venue. We will go back there again for sure.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had eaten at the Culver City location years ago and loved it. I was excited to try it again at LA Live. It ended up being disappointing. It took 40 minutes for our first round of drinks to be delivered...beer just to be clear. Not fancy cocktails that take some time to prepare. The drinks came after our apps and after entrees were delivered. Also worth mentioning, a few key items on the menu were sold out. We had a 530 reservation so clearly someone dropped the ball on ordering.

Food is consistently good. Service is top notch. You pay a bit more for the same food you would somewhere else, it you're at LA Live and they have to cover what I would assume is very high rents. Great for dinner before a concert at Staples

My girlfriend and I regularly dine out and especially try new places during the DineLA week. This was our choice Fri. night. Food was good; nut-free accomodations were made and we were quite pleased overall with our dining experience including and especially Dylan, our server.

However YOU SHOULD KNOW that despite my making the reserv AND receiving a confirming email the next day the hostess could find no evidence of a reservation via Open Table or ANY reserv in my name. The waiter concurred that they'd had "problems"--but then who needs YOU if your system isn't foolproof? The restaurant was NOT FILLED on a Friday night...but what if it had been? Not pleased re that aspect of the process. Thank you for letting me vent.

My wife and I had an early morning meeting in Los Angeles, wo we drove up from Orange County to spend the evening at the JW Marriott. We were both excited to see that Ford's had opened in the hotel. We were expecting an experience like the one we had at the Culver City location several years ago. It wasn't as good as we had hoped.

The good:
I had the scallops, which I enjoyed. My wife had the salmon, which she thought was acceptable, but not great. We split a desert, which we both enjoyed.

The not-so-good:
The bar was mediocre and the waitress couldn't tell me what sort of whiskey they had. I like to drink Old Fashioneds when I am out at a good restaurant, there is a knack to making them well. My drink turned out OK.
In general our waitress didn't seem to know much about the menu or the bar.

This is a lobby location and therefore noisy. Not much can be done about that.

The place wasn't very busy. It could have been that this was the 4th of July and there weren't many diners or we may have been in early (6:30 dinner) before things picked up and the restaurant may have had their less experience staff on.

I used to frequent Ford's when it was in Culver, it's definitely (and naturally) lost a bit of the ambience in moving to the JW but for conference breakfasts and dinners its fine. Can get noisy but that really depends on what's going on in the bar area more than anything. The food is fine, nothing special but perfectly put together. It's pricey for what it is though, I guess that's hotel surcharge in place. It's convenient is about the most I can say, you're not going to be talking about the food after which is a shame - the old location I would say was way different.

Need a place to meet in the middle for brunch with family coming from southbay. Choose because thought a restaurant in a nice hotel (JW Marriott at LA live) would have great standards and I was right. Good menu, yummy breakfast items (breakfast burrito, cinnamon roll, oatmeal were all delish). Great service--coffee cups always filled or a fresh pot left on the table with fresh cream. Our family member had their emotional support dog who sat under our table quietly and the waiter brought a bowl of water for him.
