   The sharing plates were all amazing…tasty and original. We were the only diners (early Wednesday visit before theatre) so had great service and chat to both Maitre d’ and chef. Definitely recommend and will revisit.

   Great Sunday roast lovely melt in the mouth beef and fresh vegetables. Fantastic service. My only complaint would be £ 10 med glass of wine was a little steep in my opinion. But most definitely will be back.

I’m sorry about the wine pricing — the £10 is for a large glass of our rose, not the medium at £7.50. If there was any mix-up and you ended up with the larger one by mistake, I apologise.    The food was excellent, would definitely recommend the half chicken and the Camembert. Would have liked for some pairing of dishes for example if the chicken and the heritage tomatoes were served at the same time. It was an early ish sitting at 630 but still fairly lively

   Had a really pleasant Sunday lunch here which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Food quality was excellent, service spot on and so reasonably priced. I had the vegetarian nut roast, my partner the meat. Yorkshire’s were so well cooked, veggies with a spot on crunch to them. I would definitely return but not for Sunday lunch as I’d want to sample a greater variety of the menu. A big thanks to the staff

   Really gorgeous meal - what a great spot in Ilkley. The food was delicious, cocktails so well thought out and the wine is really well recommended and paired when asked. Lovely wait staff & such a great feel! Deffo will come again!

    An interesting concept - sharing plates - with obvious limitations if the parties dont feel like sharing the same food that day, given that the menu is not overly extensive. Everything we ate was fine and adventurous and not to be faulted. The Spring menu (mainly cold dishes) was slightly out of kilter for a cold blustery day - but that is weather for you - but the cost was surprisingly low. I think everybody would enjoy their second visit more than their first by having a much better grasp on how the concept works and I am sure my party will. Certainly worth a visit.
