    Wonderful…wonderful…wonderful! Every time! Chef Luca Annunziata has the unique talent to cook fantastic Italian food from his personal heritage and also make you feel like a cherished member of his family…how does he do it???? It’s a gift!!!!!!

    Unfortunately, I did not know they were going through renovations, so you had to go up to the elevator to go to the bathroom was quite loud and it seemed chaotic. My friend had the eggplant what she did not like. I’m not sure why and there’s sir, it was not that great, but the cheeseburger was wonderful.

    I recently dined at Forchetta for the first time, it was simply spectacular. My dining companion and I split a salad, then she had the Branzino which she loved, and I had the short ribs which were ny far, the best I've ever had. Tomas was our server, and he was wonderful.

    From the amuse bouche, to appetizers, to entrees everything was excellent. The entire staff was friendly & the service was prompt and efficient. This was our first visit to Forchetta, but we will definitely be back on our next visit to Uptown. We highly recommend this fine Italian restaurant.

    I don’t typically leave reviews but we had such a great experience here! The staff was so nice and friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Charlotte.

    We had a group of 9 friend who gathered for dinner before going to the theatre. The service was outstanding and the meals were delicious. Forchetta’s was highlighted on the theatre’s website and it was an outstanding recommendation.

    Great service great food. For an appetizer, two entrees and two desserts I paid under $100. And that is with the food being incredible. Definitely recommend it.

    Always an exceptional experience, the food was wonderful (as always), and the staff was very attentive. I brought 3 of my neighbors with me tonight who have never been there and they all said “when are we going back?”.

    Ambiance is limited by the presence (windows) on College St. and the Holiday Inn. Service was disjointed, Arturo was the server of record but the only thing he did was take the order, after which we never saw him again. The hostess took our desert order and handled the check. Our food was delivered by kitchen "runners". The food was okay, the appetizer menu had substitutions one of which was scallops for the clams. It was a nice dish enhanced by fennel-infused sausage crumbles. The main course was shrimp and lobster in a red sauce with pappardelle pasta, the pasta was cooked to perfection but the sauce was bland. We finished with a Tiramisu inspired desert which was fine. All in all it was an adequate but not noteworthy dining experience.

    Chef Luca always brings the best, delicious plates! We had the incredible tasty calamari, delicious perfectly cooked octopus, loved the salsa verde was an explosion of flavor in your mouth. My husband had the pork chopped, and was very happy!

    Small, quiet restaurant so it was great to be able to have a conversation. Wait staff was excellent and very friendly. Typically at my first visit to an Italian restaurant I want to be served spaghetti so I can taste how good is their base sauce. They do not offer this as a side or entree. The only pasta was lasagna which was tasty but was small in serving size. Will want to return to try other offerings

    What a great find!!! Decided to dine here before a show at Blumenthal. Menu looked good. Prices were reasonable. We took the plunge. We could not have been happier. The food was outstanding. The calamari app was maybe the best I ever had. Main courses were lasagna for my wife and the pork chop for me. Both were fantastic. (Honestly, though, wish I had gotten the lasagna. Pork chop was good. Lasagna was amazing.) The service was fantastic. They took great care of us without being disruptive. Very attentive. Made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

    Always a great experience. Bigg salad fresh and delicious. Short ribs tender and richly flavored. Fish fresh but spinach was salty. Ricotta cheese was perfection.

    Food was excellent! The service was okay. The worst part was trying to get separate checks. They could not get everyone’s check correct and it became very frustrating! After the 3rd try, our party of 7 just decided to figure it out amongst ourselves and pay each other the difference. It took so long we had to run to make it on time for our show at Blumenthal Theater.

    This was my first time experiencing Forchetta, and I was impressed by the customer service and food selection! The food was amazing, and our server ARTURO was superb. We will definitely be coming back. Kudos to chef LUCA ANNUNZIATA, and this wonderful establishment.

    The fagottini was sublime. Excellent in fact. The main courses, Casarecce Pasta and Pappardale pasta (lobster with asparagus) were both good, not great. The lobster was done perfectly, but the asparagus in the same dish was undercooked. The background music was questionable (Guns and Roses played loud?). Perhaps chef was having a not so great day.

    We went to see Chicago at the Belk and this restaurant was close by. Making reservations was easy, we were sat right away, the food was amazing and service was great. The price was very reasonable as well.

    First time to Forchetta. Went before play at Blumenthal. Don't let the fact that it is in a hotel dissuade you. By being in the hotel we also got free parking. Server and District Manager both were attentive and professional and made it a very pleasant experience. Drinks and food were very good. We split the house appetizer and each had a delicious entree. Prices are reasonable and portions are ample.

    Luca (head chef) was so accommodating and personable to our table. We had an outstanding time talking and getting to know Luca. He listened to what we wanted, liked and even took into consideration our food allergies and brought us out something new to try that was safe to eat! Food was delicious will definitely be back.

    Once again, Chef Luca hit it out of the proverbial park! We went to Forchetta on a Monday night so it was a bit quiet, but the service and the food were fabulous!  As a self-described foodie, Forchetta never disappoints. And never worry about leaving hungry, Chef Luca always manages to take care of the next day’s lunch!  With the prices when dining out today, that’s a bonus! If you do go to Forchetta, just be aware that the hotel is in the process of a makeover so you will have to take an elevator up one floor to use the bathroom, but a very minor obstacle when enjoying such a great meal. Fantastico! Grazie Chef Luca!

    Food is amazing! Unfortunately our table was ignored by the entire wait staff. We had to ask the food deliverer for bread. No refills of our water, although we watched as they served others in the main dining room. I had to ask the hostess twice to find the server and get our bill. Server apologized saying they were just too busy to wait on us. Table behind us walked out 10 minutes after seating because no one came to the table. Would not recommend sitting in the back as you won’t get the attention of staff.

    Service was top-notch. Every employee with whom we interacted acted like it was solely their responsibility to ensure we had a great visit. The food was delicious -- try the calamari! -- and the option for half portions of pasta much appreciated. We'll be back!

    Our family made this choice because it was a quick walk from the Blumenthal Theater after our matinee. Everyone enjoyed their meal, which varied from salmon to lasagne. The rigatoni came in a half size portion, which was still generous and filling. Service was wonderful.

    The server was very disengaged. Very inattentive and answered questions very rudely. We had incredible experiences at Dean's Italian Steakhouse and Mariposa we couldn't wait to try this one on our final day. We were so disappointed because it was our last night together. We now understood why this restaurant had availability while the others were full to capacity.
