At Forbes Mill Steakhouse we offer the finest cuisine, all natural Tajima Black Wagyu, and Prime Certified Angus Beef. Less than 1.5% of beef is elite enough to meet CAB brand prime standards. Our menu also includes, Australian Lamb Chops, Australian Lobster Tail, fresh Ahi Tuna from Hawaii, and a wide variety of seafood entrees for every guest to enjoy! Our cuisine is perfectly accompanied with a Wine Spectator "Best of award of Excellence" list featuring the finest domestic and international wines to please any palate or budget, all thoughtfully selected by our resident Sommelier.
We offer 2 private rooms to accommodate any occasion. Our vasona room is completely private, and seats up to 38 guests. Our wine room is semi private with a curtain enclosure, a stone fireplace, and seats up to 12 guests. If you’re craving excellent steak in a cozy elegant restaurant with the plus of being located in a superb city for browsing shops, this Los Gatos restaurant is located in the middle of a beautiful downtown Los Gatos.
Come early and have a pre dinner cocktail or glass of wine at Oak and Rye or one of the other wonderful bars.

The service here is excellent! Carlos is the best server that I've ever encounter. He's very attentive and always checked on you to see how is everything going. The price is reasonable and the same as other restaurants.

Our tab for two adults and a child with no alcohol was $250 without Tip. It was quite pricey for two steaks and a kids meal.

I was disappointed by the size of my 11.$ Cesar salad, much too small even for a side dish- and in comparison to my friends' pear salad. Vegetable side dish needed to go back to the kitchen for some more cooking - just too raw. And the waiter had too many tables to really attend to us. Lovely cocktail.

The filet was excellent, one of the best I’ve had. The server, Tara, was also excellent, professional yet very friendly. My only concern was that our table was positioned so that bus people bumped my chair several times during the evening, never saying “Excuse me.”

Forbes Mill was a mixed bag. Some of the food was excellent and some was not all that good. The service was also mixed. While most was good we waited 15 minutes for our table to be cleared after the main course and finally had to get up and find the busboy to get it done.

There are better choices

The food was delicious and came out fast and hot! Was pricey and would be nice to also have some lower cost flexibility. But the steaks were great! Nice treat!

Excellent good and service. I had the filet rossini as my entree and the lemon pastel for dessert -- very happy with both items. Wish I lived in the area so I could return frequently!
