   We enjoyed a birthday dinner for myself and my two grandsons, with a total of 6 people in attendance. Dinner was great--tender and tasty steaks, seared ahi, tasty appetizers and desserts. Service was very friendly, attentive, and pleasurable. The ambiance was also nice both in the restaurant and the neighborhood. We'll be back soon!

   First time dining at Forbes Mill in Danville; came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. BF is a lover of filet mignon and loved all of the options in terms of accoutrements with the filets. Wonderful service from start to finish. Will definitely be coming back.

   I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was our first time eating here. The restaurant is very cute, great for special occasions. It has lots of dark wood, romantic lighting, a huge outdoor area with string lights, and overall a posh, cozy, steakhouse vibe. Everything we had was fantastic: fresh oysters (which were noticeably big), crab cakes, a true Caesar salad, filet mignon, New York strip, scallops, lobster tail, even the 2 types of potatoes we ordered were delicious. The Palma Sutra cocktail is really delicious, and my boyfriend's wine was great. We got a little Happy Birthday dessert, compliments of the restaurant. We still ordered coffee, plus dessert to go, which was delicious. It was exactly what I was hoping for: a fancy, delectable dinner that was still reasonably priced. A lot of steak houses are way too expensive, but because Forbes is reasonable, we were able to add seafood sides to our steaks, get appetizers, cocktails, desserts, etc. We had a fantastic time, and I'll definitely be bringing more people here for other special occasions.

   This is a great spot for a special occasion. We celebrated our anniversary there. Easy to make a rez online. We were seated right away. Our server was friendly and acknowledged our special reason for coming, even "Happy Anniversary" was on our menu! The little things that don't cost a thing really add up! The menu has a good selection but not overwhelming. The food is cooked well, the sides are sharable which is nice for a party of 2. They even gave us a small dessert on the house to celebrate. Overall this place is excellent, pricy, but worth it for those special days. This was our second visit and we will go again.

   It was an amazing evening at Forbes. The food was delicious. We had our favorite waiter "Robert" who always takes care of us. Very enjoyable evening. We had the ahi, NY steaks and lobster with the wedge and pear/gorgonzola salad. Wonderful!

    We were there for an anniversary dinner and it met our expectations. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. It isn't cheap but reasonable for a fine dinning steak house.
