Meal was overpriced for the quality of the food . Staff was awesome. Would probably get takeout from the market in the future.
Metro was late - I called and asked to hold our reservation but they refused . We arrived 20 min after schedule and sat at the bar for 15’. Then we got a table next to another couple. Very noisy. I had to keep my coat on the entire dinner because of the cold inside. Only time our waiter smiled was when she brought us the check. Food was quite good though. Too bad the atmosphere and service did not match the food quality.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal this past Friday at Foragers Table. Service and food were amazing. I was super impressed with the chocolate cake as well! Ambience and noise level were comfortable and perfect for having easy conversation with friends. Highly recommend
Foragers never disappoints. All food is so tasty, and fabulous drinks. Always great!
I love their pancakes and come regularly but being seated 40 minutes late is just not okay when there are plenty of great brunch places in the area
Cocktails and appetizers were superb. Main courses were good, not great, after the appetizers lefty’s wowed. Butchers cut NY strip was seasoned well and medium rare as ordered, but seemed to have more untrimmed fat and grizzle than I expected. We will be back. There are many more menu items to sample!
The food was amazing and the service was attentive and top notch.
Great place, good food can tell it is farm to table, normal roast is very good cafe quality, the prices seem steep however great portions and food quality make up for it.
It was freezing inside, unfortunately they weren’t able to heat up the place
Great atmosphere with a great music selection. Good food menu with great combinations. Please be aware that they do like their spices. Most drinks and food was very strongly seasoned. I.e. a fresh juice with cayenne pepper, really only tasted of cayenne pepper.
Horrid service. Was barely attended to. We ordered at 7:55pm and at around 8:45pm (while STILL waiting for our appetizers (soup and ceviche!), we were informed our main course tuna had run out. Really just not professional service. Didn’t offer us refills. Didn’t ask how we were doing. Took forever. Also was FREEZING. Do not recommend. Save yourself the disappointment.
The pork chop preparation was very acidic, was very good but could not finish the whole chop in one sitting . Eggplant dip and cheese platter is always on point. This is one of our favorite Chelsea spots and will always be back 👍
This is a good place for brunch. It is not a inexpensive. But the ingredients are fresh, the servers attentive and if you are concerned w/being handicapped accessible-it is.
There was no heat in the restaurant that evening which resulted in a less than completely felicitious experience...
Foragers food is always consistently delicious with wonderful flavor combinations that keep us coming back for more. We've learned to put our wine choice in their manager Drew's skilled hands and always enjoy his pairings. His charm and attention to detail are a large part of what keeps us coming back. Foragers is rapidly becoming one of our favorite neighborhood places--thank you to their team for a great start to our holiday festivities!
Much better service and ambiance since the last time I was here. Hopefully they can keep it up
This is one of my go to spots in the neighborhood. However I was very disappointed in the service on this particular night. The waitress has no personality. She didn’t smile once. Our soups, salads and deviled eggs all came at once. We felt rushed even know there was no one in the place. Really disappointed in the service. I hope this is not the new norm
Enjoyed my first experience at Foragers except for one thing. We didn’t see our server for almost 30 minutes after we were seated to order our food and had to ask someone to find our server. When she showed up, she claimed she was “downstairs doing inventory.” Once our food was served, we never saw her again. We had various servers bring and take our plates. It was as if we were seated at a table with an unassigned server!
My dining companion was late, appreciate that you allowed me to be seating. Everything was great!
Fantastic Sunday Brunch in a snowy NYC. We had a last minute reduction in our party number from 5 to 3 and they were very accommodating with that.
The food is delicious. Farm to Table at its best. Shakshuka was delicious as was Merguez Sausage. Also managed to get some essentials in the accompanying store. Love Foragers!
Great brunch at this cozy space in Chelsea. The food was amazing and the warm ambiance provided great comfort on that snowy day!
Great food, nice decor, decent prices, staff with a little extra attitude
Great experience, awesome food, I’ll definitely be back!!!!
This was my first time eating at Forager's Table and it will not be the last. I loved the farm-to-table food, the attached market, the creative menu, the extremely noteworthy tasting menu at a most reasonable price and the New York State wines, which were actually really good. Who knew that a New York Cabernet could be, well, drinkable? Anyway, my entire party loved it. Everything was really excellent. Although I live on the exact opposite side of Manhattan and rarely go to Chelsea for restaurants because why, but Forager's Table is an excellent reason why.
Seasonal dishes were exceptional; black bass for my son and fall harvest quinoas with vegetables for me -- delicious. The deviled eggs totally love up to the hype. Our server was very attentive and helpful with selections. The plate of homemade cookies with WHOLE milk closed out a wonderful evening.
Had a very good meal and enjoyable dinner
Forager's is a farm to table restaurant in the middle of Chelsea. I was going to the Atlantic Theatre Company on West 20th Street and Forager's was a few blocks away. We had trout which was delicious. The service was lovely and it was fun being behind a grocery.
I was very disappointed by my experience at Forager's Table. I booked ahead and arrived for a 10:45 brunch with a friend whom I had not seen for a long time. At 11:20, we began to get subtle messages to finish. At 11:35, these messages continued and became more overt, and a server twice tried to take our food away before we had finished. When I challenged the server and told him that we were still eating, we were told that that "the table was booked for someone else."
I have never before been so quickly rushed out of a restaurant. Needless to say, next time I will forage for food elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Service was prompt and helpful. Beyond the roasted pumpkin soup, very average.
The pancakes are the best in the city!
Child burned fingers on incredibly hot plate (waffle)
I had great memories of the ricotta orange blossom pancakes, but was not blown away this time. Good ingredients and tasteful food, but relatively expensive for the quality and quantity...
Food was delicious - we ordered the salmon tarting, orange ricotta pancakes and cornbread.
Great menu. Great service. Always a real pleasure to dine there with friends and with family. I return again and again for dinner and for brunch and am never disappointed.
They take sourcing fresh ingredients seriously. Would definitely recommend.
So loud that no one conversation could take place without shouting
This low-key spot serves the most perfect food, every time. You really can't go wrong with any dish. Wines and cocktails are just as excellent. Service was a bit... casual, but in a good way. They are friendly and attentive.
As always, the food was excellent: delicious, organic, and perfectly presented. And the service was, as usual, excellent. Servers took care of us assiduously but never overwhelmingly. Simply perfect. Except that the food is so good we ordered too much. But that gives us leftovers.
Food was fresh and tasty but a little skimpy for the price. Toast should not be a la crate if one is ordering breakfast. A bit noisy but great energy and lively all the same. Location is convenient if you need to meet someone in Chelsea and the general Meatpacking district. Art galleries are conveniently nearby.
I went with my colleagues during a week in NY for business. The hall was quite noisy, but not so much to prevente us to talk. We took seasonal menu with pumpkins soup, roasted chicken and dessert: good food, with portion not so big so we could eat everything without feeling 'heavy'. A good choice for a casual dinner.
