About Foragers Table
Foragers Table brings clean and ethical food of the highest quality to our customers by shortening the distance between farm and fork. We believe that it is worth going the extra mile to find foods that are healthy for human, animal, and land. We do so by bringing in many local products on our own distribution truck that delivers the best of the Hudson Valley weekly. We also grow our own vegetables and raise laying hens for eggs at our market garden in upstate New York. Since we opened in 2005, we have found many incredible people and products! We are happy to share our discoveries with you in our grocer, wine shop and restaurant.

Foragers Table Ratings and Reviews
As always, the food was excellent: delicious, organic, and perfectly presented. And the service was, as usual, excellent. Servers took care of us assiduously but never overwhelmingly. Simply perfect. Except that the food is so good we ordered too much. But that gives us leftovers.
Food was fresh and tasty but a little skimpy for the price. Toast should not be a la crate if one is ordering breakfast. A bit noisy but great energy and lively all the same. Location is convenient if you need to meet someone in Chelsea and the general Meatpacking district. Art galleries are conveniently nearby.
I went with my colleagues during a week in NY for business. The hall was quite noisy, but not so much to prevente us to talk. We took seasonal menu with pumpkins soup, roasted chicken and dessert: good food, with portion not so big so we could eat everything without feeling 'heavy'. A good choice for a casual dinner.
Ordered a number of appetizers to share (no entrees, but the cost of all the apps we ordered more than made up for it). All of the appetizers we ordered (deviled eggs, cauliflower soup, prosciutto board and salad) arrived at once overflowing our small table with food and making it impossible to enjoy any single dish because we were trying to eat each thing while it was fresh. So lame.
Food was fine. Eggs were good, cauli soup was okay, but under seasoned, salad barely was dressed. Prosciutto was... prosciutto. Atmosphere was lovely and maybe if we’d ordered apps then mains everything would’ve been improved. Who knows? Server was a nice enough guy but it was up to him to stagger the meal, so service takes a hit.
My daughter and I were in town for the weekend and we have a friend who lived nearby and had taken my son before and they both recommended it for brunch. It was a beautiful day and we liked that you can make a reservation. The brunch was yummy. We had heard about the pancakes but wanted to try a few other things. We were able to order the silver dollar portion of the Awesome Orange Blossom Ricotta pancakes. So light and fluffy and delicious! My daughter had avocado toast ...she said she could eat that everyday! We will try another time!
What a pleasant surprise.
My wife and I ordered the fixed price three-course meal x2. The options were limited so we took one of each from the starter, entrée and dessert, and shared the plates. We topped it off with a red, a cocktail and some espresso afterwards.
I’m not going to elaborate. Suffice to say that the entire meal was excellent. Immaculately presented and in a civilized portion size. Flavor, service and presentation all top notch. Extremely good value.
I understand the restaurant changes its menu seasonally. We’ll be back for winter helpings.
Visited for brunch. Had the Mosca Mulo and The Moore Park as my beverages. Both were deliciously fresh and satisfying. For my meal I chose the Whole Wheat Wrap - minus the wrap. It came with a side of potatoes and a small pile of mixed greens tossed in a light vinaigrette. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Tip: Get a reservation.
Fresh ingredients abound and are skillfully delivered into mostly scrumptious food. Small portions so tough to share unless you eat again later. Had the lamb ragu pasta which was great and wife had a salad which was awful. Oh well. Nice to try a new place but no reason to go back.
Staff was attentive, kind and chill. Music was ambient and pleasing. Floor to ceiling corner glass of the property lets candlelight flicker against the night sky. The chicken dumpling soup was deeply healing with aromatic herbs, tender tiny mushrooms, an enormous amount of veg, and a lemony broth. Plus, small batch Vermont gin -Bar Hill!? You will never have better. Do.Get.the.deviled.eggs.
Forager's has become my first choice for an excellent meal prepared with really fresh and mostly organic produce and products in general. The cooking is inventive and always delicious presented with an artistic flair. I have never been disappointed though I dine there quite frequently.
