The food was excellent and so much better than we expected. We also liked how small and quiet it was. A great find!
Incredible food and experience! Don’t miss this hidden gem!
Cute decor. Food was delicious especially if you like mushrooms. Steak was good too. So tasty.
The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. Will definitely be back.
Local special place!
The food was phenomenal. So yummy. I wish I could eat here every night!
Interesting selection. Lots of veggie dishes. Amazing short rib raviolis. Will return.
This place is absolutely amazing. I was a bit nervous, because I didn't know what to expect, but the food was so good that we had to eat it slowly just so we could savor every bite. The presentation was spectacular. And overall, it was just a tremendous value given the quality of the food and what we actually paid. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food, and appreciates the importance of the restaurant's mission.
This was a very good restaurant that my wife and I both enjoyed. The mussels appetizer was excellent and very tasty, and they had a unique and interesting way of preparing the beets for their beet salad that my wife really loved. Our main courses were also very well prepared and tasty. We loved it, and plan on coming back soon.
Could use a better wine, beer and include Prosecco
This meal reminded my husband and I of eating in Paris. We loved every bite. From the house-made ricotta to delectable carrot soup to pork sausage with sauerkraut to pork cheek to duck breast to shortbread with caramelized apples with vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. The service was friendly and just the right amount of attentive. The ambiance was relaxed and not at all pretentious. Highly recommend!!!!
Second time to Foraged, and second time loving it.
This time, I noticed that the main meal portions were on the smaller side--probably the same as my first visit, but my friends for this dinner are a bunch of martial-arts practitioners, and can really eat.
It was good
Authentic and delicious !!
The fried cornmeal oysters were sublime!
This was my Birthday dinner so we decided on this place due to it being on the restaurant week menu. The food was really good. Don’t come hungry. But it was perfect for that night as we weren’t overly hungry. We typically are big eaters.
Great food. Nice cozy setting. I hope they do well!
Went during Restaurant Week. The price could not be beat, making it an excellent value. However, even without the extra value resulting from their Restaurant Week deal, the food would be worth the visit. Often an entre does not live up to the appetizers, but at Foraged, all six courses (for the two of us) were fabulous, especially the mushroom stew and the duck breast. We will definitely visit again.
All the food was beautifully presented and delicious. A lovely evening. And those two cookies at the end were a perfect ending. A little bit of sweet before wandering out into the snow.
My friend and I enjoyed everything about this meal. It was restaurant week, so my expectations were lower, but it was overall a very nice experience. I look forward to returning soon.
Foraged created the best dining experience I've had in Baltimore for some time. It's not for everyone, but if you like an authentic and casual ambiance, attentive and helpful service, and well prepared food that tightly matches what is promised on the menu, you'll like Foraged. We mixed and matched on appetizers and entrees and did not find a misfire in our selections. I was especially impressed with the duck breast and the cornmeal fried oysters. Both were cooked to expectation. Our server was very helpful and I especially like the way she found time to come back to the table to keep the wine glasses properly filled. It's a small thing, but it mattered to me (and ended up selling another bottle of wine for the restaurant). I'll be back and am looking forward to my next experience at Foraged.
Amazing meal! We have the mushroom stew and it was absolutely incredible. We will be back!
Foraged should be billed as the premier culinary expierence in Baltimore. While the food might take a bit of time to cook, every dish is flawless in flavor and presentation, offering ingredients you might not try in your day to day life. If it’s on the menu, get the duck!!
Came here for dinner the other night with my fiancé. The service was wonderful, with equally amazing food. I highly recommend the oysters, mushroom stew, and the seared duck breast! The space was lovely and intimate, perfect for a date or special occasion. Nice wine list. Will definitely be returning.
My new favorite. Great food. Nice folks.
Plenty of seating early, gets busy later as you would expect.
Super fresh ingredients and excellently crafted dishes. Really excellent restaurant for people who truly appreciate food!
Food was unique and delicious and the staff was lovely and on top of their game.
Nice decor; great location. Friendly but inconsistent service. Food was vey interesting and attractively presented. Our party of 4 split 7 dishes. The ricotta spread, mushrooms, and short rib were most memorable. We will return
We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with Foraged. It is a really charming restaurant in Hampden with about 12 tables and provides an intimate setting. (Very laid back, casual and a friendly waitstaff that knows the menu inside and out.) We had the ricotta spread as an app, mushroom soup and beet salad, short ribs and risotto for entrees. All of the courses were fantastic; local ingredients / farm to table, and each dish was prepared fresh and you could tell it was made with great thought. Really impressive food and tastes! Foraged is a long-overdue restauranteur in Hampden and we'll be back again and again. A must try!
We had an absolutely wonderful meal at Foraged. The ambiance was peaceful and calm. The food was amazing and perfectly portioned. I would return in a heartbeat.
Exceeded our expectations. Flawless execution. We will be back.
Parking is the only real issue. Great food and service.
My entire family absolutely love Foraged. The food was awesome and the quality amazing. Really looking forward to going back and trying out other items on the menu.
Great food... Excellent service. Will definitely return.
Shared an appetizer of ricotta -squash purée- walnuts - grilled bread and ordered 2 medium plates - mushroom stew with poached egg featured a great mix of mushrooms, pine nuts, and ricotta and another plate of 3 large scallops over roasted sunchokes in miso broth - delicious - definitely return when in town!
Outstanding Food and interesting wine list. Everything was spectacular - fried oysters, bone marrow, Scallops, ravioli , beet risotto , pig cheeks and snout. By far the best restaurant in Baltimore.
My friend and I shared an appetizer, two small plates and an entree. The food was delicious.
Amazing all around!! A must go! The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. I cant wait to go back for dinner.
Thoroughly enjoyed! Surprised it took me so long to try Chris's new spot. He's really made the spot much warmer than prior incarnation, and the food is creative, well presented, and delicious. We plan to go back soon!!
