Probably the best meal I've ever had. The mushroom stew was amazing and the pork belly was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.

the food was delicious. every dish had it's own wonderful flavor the sauces and sides were creative and a wonderful taste experience. I would highly recommend and make sure to stay for dessert. highly reccomned

Great experience at Foraged, primarily because of the food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was attentive and our server carefully took time to explain gluten-free options/substitutions from the menu (as they indicate vegetarian but not gluten-free options on the menu). Had plenty of options to pick from as well. We ordered the mushroom stew, purple potato soup, risotto, scallops, cheesecake, and pot de creme. All were excellent. We will be back and excited for when the menu changes seasonally!
Food was amazing. The potato leek soup and fried oysters were our favorite. Jessica took great care of us. Will definitely be back!
Our dinner at Foraged was outstanding in every way, from the cozy decor, excellent wine selection, unique and trendy menu choices which were prepared to perfection to the excellent service. Our favorite dish was the happy oyster plate. The menu is divided into small, medium and large plates. The two of us shared two small plates, one medium plate and an order of skillet cornbread. We left quite satisfied with the quality and quantity!
Foraged is consistently my favorite restaurant in Baltimore.
First time dining here and both the food + service were amazing. Everything my table ordered was delicious but our favorites were the Happy Oysters, Scallops, and the Roasted Lamb. Would love to come back to try more of the menu!

Our food was good but not what you'd expect from a place labeled one of Baltimore's best. Would highly recommend the pig cheek off of the pig parts menu as this was definitely the highlight of the meal. The scallops dish was good while the roast pork was a bit of a letdown. Wine recommendation was nice while service was great. All in all, not a bad experience but not one I would label Baltimore's best.
The most artisanal eatery in the entire city for the best price possible! Regardless of what you order, you are guaranteed a delicious meal. Definitely get the pig ears and fried oysters, you won’t regret it!
The food is very tasty and some dishes rely on a novel combination of ingredients. I also really like that you can choose from small, medium and large plates. Certain dishes might be a bit salty for some people. The restaurant is small and the service is very friendly. The chocolate mousse dessert was absolutely amazing.
Although very noisy, the restaurant's unusual menu is worth a try. The mushroom soup was creative and delicious. The mushroom risotto was too salty.
Our second time at Foraged. Excellent as the first time we visited. Food was delicious. I decided to get vegetarian dish, due to trying to eventually transition to vegan, and I got Risotto. I loved it. My husband got steak and was delighted as well. We also had oysters to start with and blueberry cheesecake as a dessert. Additionally, our server was staying on the top of things. We will be back again and again.

We had reservations yet waited around 1hr. We were comped dessert but it was frustrating and inconvienent particularly with out of town guests. Our meat was over cooked (steak/pork) and the risotto was salty. I'd come back one more time to see if this was an off night but if we have a similar experience we won't be back after that. Great atmosphere and fantastic decore.

Be sure to try their house made ricotta, regardless of what it's topped with. Ours was made with herbs and hominy.
Food was less than average. Meat for all our meals was chewy and pork was 75% fat. Very difficult to chew. Pretty disappointing.

It was such a lovely restaurant - the interior is cozy and trendy. I have to say that the waiter was a bit pretentious, rolling his eyes at our questions, not really responding when my husband noted that his steak was chewy. The two main veg options (Mushroom stew and risotto) were a bit salty.
Wonderful food. The fried oysters and mushroom stew stood out in our visit. The fired oysters were light and clean-tasting; the mushroom stew was an umami bomb, cooked in a pleasantly sour liquid featuring sorrel. The room is long and narrow with brick walls, with only some grow-lights on one wall to deflect noise, so it was pretty loud. Service was quite good, dishes came out at a good pace, though the single server seemed rushed at times. Definitely worth a trip out to northern Baltimore.

WE have been here many times; the food is always good. We had teh beet salad, teh rabbit stew, oysters, cornbread. Excellent. I decided to try the Frederick County Shiraz; interesting, but I wouldn't have it again. Pleasant atmosphere on a quiet Sunday evening.
We've been eating our way across Baltimore while my daughter attends college there. Too bad she graduates soon because Foraged is a fabulous find! Everything was very good & of course fresh. The mushroom stew is out of this world - a must try! Service very attentive.
Overall the food was good. The oysters were crisp and fresh. The mushroom stew was a bit pretentious. There was a poached egg and some ricotta cheese garnish that detracted from the flavors of the mushrooms. Sometimes simple is better, less is more. Service was fantastic, food was paced well over four courses. We loved the pork belly dish as well as the pork jowl. The experience was refreshing and truly is a gem among the Hampden eateries. I would eat there again.
Simply delicious farm to table menu. Well worth it! Service was great as well. Mixed grain risotto, oysters, homemade ricotta....everything we ordered was great.
