Forage is a farm to table neighborhood bistro in Cambridge right off of Harvard Square. Through partnerships with local farmers, fishermen, and foragers, ​we create a seasonal menu served in a comfortable setting. We offer tasting menus every night, and proudly accommodate all dietary restrictions. Wine pairings or non alcoholic cocktails pairing are available to compliment the meal.

The bar program at Forage ​works closely with the kitchen team's zero waste efforts to make innovative cocktails, using locally sourced ingredients. The biodynamic wine list focuses on natural wines from small producers. We have special pours available every night, and often open bottles that aren't on the menu.

Chefs Eric Cooper and Alycia Palame draw from global cuisine's to create a hyper local, creative menu. The menu changes everyday; come see what they've gotten up to today.

    Eric & Alycia are going all-out this year for Rhubarb season! We're creating a four course meal, with each dish incorporating an innovative use of this wildly underrated Rheum. Don't expect to see strawberry rhubarb pie coming out of this kitchen. Each course will be paired with a half glass of natural wine & we might even be pouring some rhubarb piquette. Optional additional courses & treats will be available. We hope you'll join us for this special dinner.

    I got the omnivore tasting menu and the partner got the pescatarian tasting menu. The amuse bouche was tasty pickled cucumbers and radish. The dessert was a really rich and delicious sweet potato chocolate brownie. Those were the highlights. The rest of our meal was bland, unimaginative, and very overpriced for the quality and type of ingredients. I’d only return for the great NA drink options and a bar snack if I was in the area. Otherwise it’s a miss.

    We truly enjoyed dining at Forage! This was a first-class, top-of-the-line — and authentic — dining experience that introduced us to all sorts of new and exotic fare. Exceptional for vegetarians — also great for omnivores! We especially loved the “pickles and ferments” and leek appetizers - as well as the mushroom tagine, cod, and pork chop entrees. The wait staff were not only attentive, but supported each other working as a team. They stood by to explain any ingredients we inquired about and made the dining experience even more fun. The desserts must be mentioned too as they were unique and tasty! The key lime graham cracker ice cream sandwich was out of this world — and we also enjoyed the black cherry and sweet potato brownie - I especially enjoyed the raspberry chocolate sauce! This was the perfect spot for a food adventure with friends!

    Our 2nd visit. Inventive, seasonal, delicious fare. Our server was conscientious, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu, dishes, ingredients, and wine list. Really appreciate the attention to local sourcing. We will definitely be back.

    Our second visit to Forage and again a wonderful experience. Terrific and interesting culinary choices and a great selection of wines and cocktails. This restaurant is a true gem!!

    We ordered the tasting menu and it was underwhelming at best. We had 4 different dishes, which included the dessert. Each dish for whatever reason had uncooked asparagus with it. Even though it is not overly expensive compared to other tasting menus, it still is overpriced based on the ingredients and quality of the food. Without a doubt the worst tasting menu I’ve ever had.

    Phenomenal food, farm to table at its finest, depending on season may have ingredients repetitive across offered dishes but all cooked with unique ways. Worth the price tag!

    This was our second time at Forage and our first for the vegan tasting menu. Each course was delicious and well pared with NA cocktails! The service was truly delightful!

    We ate the vegan tasting menu, which was excellent. Also available in omnivore, pescatarian, and vegetarian. The service was the real standout here. So attentive and helpful. Answered many food questions for us and it was clear each person had a passion for everything they offer. The cocktails were terrific. One course of our tasting featured fiddleheads, which it turns out I didn’t care for. When they realized this, they adjusted each of the future courses that had those to remove them for me (without me having to ask). When we asked about a spirit that was in our cocktail, they brought out tiny glasses for a tasting of that spirit. Really nice experience.

    It's cool basement, but still a basement. The vegetables were good, but the steak, fish, polenta were so-so, and surely not a good ratio price-quality. Wine choices lean German. The staff and the service was was good.
